무선 애드 혹 네트워크에서 이동 단말기 각각의 연결에 필요한 최소 전송 전력을 구하는 기법의 경우, 상대방 단말기에 설정된 전송 전력을 알기 위해 별도의 통신이 필요한데 애드 혹 네트워크에서 라우팅 프로토콜을 수정해서 사용할 경우 오버헤드 없이 구현이 가능하다. 또 그것을 응용하면 최소 전송 전력을 고려하는 경로를 선택함으로써 과도한 전력 소비를 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 애드 혹 네트워크에서 대표적인 라우팅 프로토콜인 AODV를 기반으로 전송 전력 제어와 결합된 AODV 프로토콜을 제안한다.

이동통신사업자인 KTF가 지난달 16일 국내 무선인터넷 표준 플랫폼인 WIPI 상용서비스를 시작하면서 본격적인 WIPI 시대가 개막됐다. 이번 KTF의 WIPI 서비스 개시는 국내 콘텐츠 제공업체와 단말기 제조업체의 중복투자 방지와 콘텐츠, 단말기 개발 용이, 가입자들에 제공하는 타사 가입자와의 네트워크 게임, 채팅, 메신저 등과 같은 양방향 네트워크 서비스 가능 등의 측면에서 향후 국내 모바일 콘텐츠 시장에 적지 않은 변화를 가져올 전망이다. 향후 콘텐츠 시장의 흐름을 전망하기 이전에 WIPI의 개요와 특징, 앞으로의 과제 등에 대해 살펴봤다.

Many applications are developed on variety type of mobile terminal with mobile tole-communication improvement. We suggest that we offer more improve multimedia environment on that development. So we design SWF player which supports Macromedia SWF file format. It is application that animation and graphic module are independent of system. In addition to, we implement SWF player on mobile communication environment. for the purpose of it, we adapt AKL concept, which is designed for the consistent interface on heterogeneous operating system environment.

Since the major cellular data service providers in U.S, Japan as well as in Korea started the LTE (Long Term Evolution) service, there has been more strong need for the methods that can accurately measure the MIMO (Multi Input-Multi Output) OTA (Over The Air) performance of LTE handsets because the performance of the MIMO antenna determines the data throughput in the downlink. In this paper, the hand effect on the MIMO antenna performance is analyzed by numerically and experimentally. The hand effect on the LTE mobile handset is analyzed by measuring the link level performance in the MIMO OTA system.

최근 무선통신을 이용한 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에 대하여 점차 관심이 집중되고 있다. 그런데 이런 무선통신환경을 구축하기 위해서는 기존의 유선 HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language) 문서들을 WML(Wireless Markup Language) 문서등으로 변환하는 작업이 필요하다. 이러한 오버헤드를 줄이기 위한 노력의 일환으로 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) 게이트웨이(Gateway)를 제작하여 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 HTML 서버의 내용을 이동 무선단말기에서도 검색할 수 있도록 하는 WAP 게이트웨이에 대하여 연구한다. WAP 서버, WEB 클라이언트, 프로토콜 변환기, WML 인코더/디코더 등으로 WAP 게이트웨이를 구성하며 현재 WTP, WSP 단계에서의 설계와 구현을 하고 있으며 본 논문에서는 현재까지의 중간결과를 설명한다.

오늘날 인터넷 광범위한 보급은 무선 이동 통신 기술로 급발전하고 무선 단말기의 보급과 폭발적인 증가로 인해 m-commerce가 차세대 상거래의 형태가 될 것으로 예상된다. 현재 m-commerce의 컨텐츠는 m-commerce와는 호환되지 않으며, 질적으로나 양적으로 그 내용이 매우 빈약하다. 따라서 m-commerce의 상품정보 컨텐츠를 m-commerce를 위해서 활용하는 방안이 요구되는데, 여기에는 무선 단말기의 제한된 처리 능력이 고려되어야 한다. 논문에서는 먼저 인터넷 상의 방대한 상품정보를 사용자의 선호도에 기반하여 효과적으로 여과시켜서 사용자가 관심있는 정보만을 간추려서 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 다음에 구현된 시스템을 인터넷 쇼핑몰에 대해서 적용한다.

이동통신 및 위성방송 등 마이크로파를 이용하는 통신수단의 증가와 더불어 통신용 기지국 및 단말기의 수요가 급증함에 따라 마이크로파 대역에서 동작하는 부품의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 따라서 이들부품중 무선주파수대역에서 동작되는 박막형 유전체 소자 및 적층 소자들의 종류와 특성 및 기술개발 현황에 대해서 알아보았다.

The development of the mobile communication has been enlarged gradually and has been changed voice centered services into data centered ones supporting Internet to provide various kinds of mobile internet services. Researches for data transmission have been achieved actively lot the effective approachment of web in the mobile terminal. The users using mobile communication are increasing for its easy handcarried and movement and the information in internet based upon wire communication has been changed into mobile communication fast. The development of mobile internet requires various mobile contents using mobile internet at any time and at any place due to rapid enhance of network capacity and mobile internet according to network expansion. To accept these needs, there are many difficult problems that contents must be remade according to various terminal features and the develoument costs much. To solve these problems, this paper has the pun)me that contents of Web documents are changed and processed through XML palter and design new mobile contents system, providing mobile services rapidly and obtaining the charge reduction result with the enhance of contents development to the shortening of a development Period.

최근 인터넷과 무선통신기술의 융합으로 인한 Mobile 서비스의 급격한 발전으로 인해 무선 인터넷 시장이 도입 및 성장단계에 이르렀다. 그러나 현재 무선 인터넷 환경은 음성 서비스 위주의 개인사용자 시장이 한계에 도달하면서 이동통신의 무선단말기를 통해 다양한 비즈니스를 벌일 수 있는 기업용 모바일 솔루션 시장이 크게 확대되고 있고 모바일데이터서비스 시장의 비중이 크게 늘어가고 있다. 이러한 데이터서비스 교환에 XML문서를 사용한다면 데이터의 상호 처리 능력을 향상시키고 데이터의 공용성과 프로그램의 유연성을 향상시키는데 필요한 비용과 노력을 훨씬 절감할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 시스템 설계를 통해 XML 문서를 데이터 교환에 사용하여 무선 장치의 CPU, 메모리, 네트워크 대역폭의 부하를 줄임으로써 무선 인터넷에서 보다 빠르고 효율적으로 문서를 주고받을 수 있도록 구현하였다.
