Until now, there is no report for the relationship between the condition of addressing and the characteristics of surface discharge in ac-PDP. We have known that such these experiment was important to drive ac PDP Therefore, this paper deals with the probability of transfer and the character of luminance according to addressing voltage(Va) and blocking voltage(Vg) in addressing period and sustain voltage in sustaining period and we use waveform according to ADS(Address and Display period Separation) method

This paper represents the construction of a PLC simulator for the level control of water and the speed control of the water cask. The level and speed processes are automatically operated by the PLC. The simulator system consists of PLC, program loader and control penal. The digital input and output units make the valves of the water cask the On or Off state. The analog input and output units control the level of water and the speed of the water cask. A LD program is used in the control language of PLC.

In this paper, the implementation of a virtual Plant simulator for the PLC programming is presented. A virtual plant simulator that replaces function of transducers (e.g. pumps and valves) consists of a personal computer and a PLC(Programmable logic controller). Input/output conponents are edited on the monitor and are operated as the field transducers. The timing process for input/output components is analyzed. The data flow between a PLC system and a virtual plant simulator is carried out.

The thermomechanical characteristics were evaluated for 17-4PH stainless steel widely used in supersonic airframe subjected to both aerodynamic loading and heating. The thermomechanical tests were conducted under both elevated temperature and rapid heating condition from $1^{\circ}C/sec\;to\;28^{\circ}C/sec$. The thermomechanical behaviors under rapid heating were compared with those of elevated temperature after 1/2 hour exposure in terms of yield stress to investigate the influence of heating rates. A heating rate-yield temperature parameter was suggested for rapid heating based on time-temperature parameters, and master yield stress curve was obtained by using these parameters. The experimental results and methodology from this study can be used as basic engineering data when designing supersonic vehicle structures subjected to aerodynamic loading and severe heating environment.

This study is to investigate the characteristic on the resistance of chloride infiltration concrete containing limestone powder The variables are the substitution ratio of slag powder and limestone powder. In order to study the effect slag powder and limestone powder, all mixtures were prepared at a fixed water/cement ratio, slump, and entrained air quantity. As results show that the strength and the resistance of chloride infiltration in concrete substitution 10%, 20% limestone powder, and 30%, 40% slag powder are positive.

In this paper, we present the modified CMA (constant modulus algorithm) and LMS (least mean square) algorithms for digiCipher system with reduced hardware cost, in which the pipelined architecture is employed. They yield the performance comparable to that using floating-point operations. We show the effecstiveness of the proposed architecture through the implementation results using VHDL.

본 글은 자동차부품혁신센터 및 신소재기술지원센터에 다년 근무한 경험을 토대로 지구 온난화 현상과 연계된 차량 에너지 기술에 관련하여 서술한 기술자료이다. 주된 내용으로는 현재 범 세계적으로 이슈화되고 있는 환경문제인 지구 온난화 현상(global warming)을 현상(facts), 가설(myths) 및 해결책(answers)의 3개 측면으로 분류하여 이를 차량 에너지 기술과 연계하여 서술함으로써 지구 온난화 문제에 대한 해결책을 제시하고자 한다.

현재의 환경문제는 국가적인 경계를 떠나서 지역적 및 범 지구적인 수준으로 인류의 생존을 위협하고 있다. 특히 한반도를 포함한 동북아지역은 전 세계적으로 인구가 밀집되어 있으며 경제발전속도가 빠른 지역으로서 심각한 대기오염문제를 야기 시킬 수 있는 상당한 양의 대기오염물질이 배출되고 있으며 이 지역의 풍향은 주로 서풍이기 때문에 중국의 풍하측에 위치한 한반도와 일본 등지에서는 중국에서 발생한 대기오염물질로 인한 피해가 급증하고 있으며 이에 대한 대책마련에 노력과 관심을 쏟고 있다. (중략)
