From March 15, 2022 to April 30, 2022, this study was conducted with 204 nursing students located in D city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using SPSS 22.0. Digital literacy and self-efficacy (r=.394, p<.001), digital literacy and communication ability (r=.567, p<.001) showed a significant positive correlation. Among the sub-factors of digital literacy, all factors except compliance ability showed a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and communication ability. Therefore, it is judged that this study will be used as basic data for digital literacy education of nursing students by identifying the digital literacy of nursing students and confirming the relationship between communication ability and self-efficacy.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Korean Version of Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (KSE-12), which is used to examine Communication Self-Efficacys for 155 nursing students. To verify the construction factor of the tool, exploratory factor analysis with varimax rotation was performed, resulting in one factors with 12 items. KSE-12 was significantly correlation with GICC (p<.001), and criterion validity was verified. Cronbach's α was .98, showing internal consistency. Therefore, we suggest that it will be useful for the accumulating the evidence data for development of the communication self-efficacy program by using the KSE-12.

  • This study examined the influence of self-efficacy, communication competency and critical thinking disposition on the clinical performance ability in nursing students. A convenience sample of 274 subjects were recruited from four colleges, and the survey was conducted from September 1st to 20th 2015. The data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed with the SPSS WIN 21 program, using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Significant positive correlations among the self-efficacy, communication competency, critical thinking disposition, and clinical performance ability were found. The regression model explained 40.8% of the clinical competency. Self-efficacy, communication competency, critical thinking disposition, and image for the nurse were factors influencing clinical performance ability. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an educational program to improve the self-efficacy, communication competency, and critical thinking disposition of nursing students.

  • This study examined the effect of group counseling on the self-esteem, self-efficacy, and congruent communication style of female victims of family violence. A twice-weekly group counseling consisting of 10 sessions was provided to 5 women residing in shelters in Seoul, South Korea from October $19^{th}$ to November $20^{th}$ 2009. This study employed the self-esteem scale developed by Rosenberg(1965) and translated into Korean by Jeon Byoung Jae(1974), a self-efficacy measurement tool(Kim A Young,1997) and a congruency scale(Go Moon Jeong, 2008). The Wilcoxon non-parametric verification was used to identify the differences between before and after the group counseling sessions. The results revealed meaningful improvements in self-esteem, self-efficacy and congruent communication styles.

  • This study examined the influence of problem solving ability, communication skill and self-efficacy on clinical competence of nursing students. The research subjects were 184 grade 4 nursing students in D and G city. Data were collected from September 1 to September 10, 2016 and analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression using the IBM SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. The results showed that the problem solving ability was 3.60, communication skill was 3.79, and self-efficacy was 3.45. The clinical competence was positively correlated with problem solving ability, communication skill and self-efficacy. Problem solving ability (${\beta}=0.283$, p<0.001), self-efficacy (${\beta}=0.249$, p<0.001), motivation for nursing (${\beta}=0.182$, p=0.002), communication skills (${\beta}=0.176$, p=0.016), and interpersonal relationships (${\beta}=0.101$, p=0.082) explained 42.8% of the total variance in clinical competence of nursing students. The most significant predictors of clinical competence were problem solving ability, followed by self-efficacy and communication skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an empowerment program to improve problem solving ability, self-efficacy and communication skills of nursing students.
