Researchers have continuously investigated the issues of customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and repurchase intention of customers in Internet shopping malls, a fast growing e-bisiness model in Korea. At present, most Internet shopping malls in Korea offer similar services to their customers. This has caused intense industry competition, and the Internet shopping malls have made significant investments into their websites in order to remain attractive to their customers. This research examines the relationships among website charateristics, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repurchase intention. Website characteristics include context, commerce, connection, communication, contents, community, and customization. We have used data from a field study of 662 individuals to test the proposed model. The results of this research show that among the 7 website characteristics, context, communication, content, and commerce are the significant determinants of customer satisfaction. In turn, customer satisfaction increases customer loyalty and repurchase intention. These findings have important theoretical and practical implications, which are discussed in the paper.

The Children's Home Inventory for Listening Difficulties (CHILD) questionnaire has been applied for assessing listening and communication difficulties in various home situations for children with hearing loss. The purpose of the study was to translate the CHILD questionnaire for parents into Korean and verify reliability and validity of Korean version of CHILD (CHILD-K). CHILD-K was completed by 55 parents of children (from ages 3~12 years) using cochlear implants (CI). Among the 55 children, 27 were in preschool and 28 in elementary. Internal consistency reliability of CHILD-K was verified by Chronbach's alpha. The mixed factorial ANOVA was conducted to compare the effects of the age group and situation factors (Quiet, Noise, Distance, Social, and Media factors) on the score of CHILD. The results indicated that CHILD-K showed excellent internal consistency reliability (${\alpha}=.96$). The CHILD scores among age groups were significantly different as the older age group resulted in higher scores in all situations except Distance. For both groups the mean scores for the Quiet situation were significantly higher than other situations, and the mean scores for the Social situation were significantly lower than other situations. Moreover, analysis showed that children with CI had difficulties in the Social situation combined with other situation factors. The results indicate that the Korean version of CHILD questionnaire is a reliable tool for the assessment of communication abilities in home situation in Korean-speaking children using CI.

A lot of colleges have made continued efforts to help freshmen adapt themselves to a new school life and environment and build a decent relationship with faculty and other students. Therefore, this study attempted to figure out the effectiveness of team teaching(team teaching by academic advisor, standard textbook-centered guidance vs. autonomous mentoring) on strategic cultural curriculum as a way to help freshmen adapt themselves to a school life. For research subjects, 31 enrolled freshmen and 5 professors from a college in Chungbuk were selected. In terms of research tools, 'Communication Competence Assessment Sheet' provided by Strategic Cultural Curriculum Development Team and a simple questionnaire on 'curriculum satisfaction, adaptation to school and intimacy' were applied. For data analysis, paired t-test, independent samples t-test and rating scale were conducted. The study results found the followings: First, according to analysis on the effects of two different types of team teaching on the goal of strategic cultural curriculum('improvement of communication competence'), significant effects were found in a standard curriculum(textbook)-centered team. Second, when adaptation to a school life(school adaptation, intimacy) perceived by the students who completed the strategic cultural curriculum according to two different types of team teaching curriculum was analyzed, significant changes were found at standard textbook-centered guidance team. Third, this study has examined other changes, satisfaction, opinions and perception(strength, weakness, opinions for improvement) on the curriculum perceived by the students(learners) and faculty regarding about team teaching curriculum. Based on these results, educational implications of this study were reviewed. And a suggestion and limits were presented.

Through specific cases, this article examines the causes and measures to overcome cultural divergences most frequently encountered by Koreans living in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese in terms of mode of communication, mode of living and mode of doing business. Historical reality proves that Vietnam and Korea have a lot in common in history, culture and society, due to the influence from the Chinese culture on both countries. However, each country has its own acculturation, hence, there exist, apart from the normal dissimilarities, differences between the two countries especially in natural environment andpolitical systems. As a result, in Vietnam, Koreans and Vietnamese have met with quite a lot of divergences in communication, business and living activities. In order to overcome these cultural divergences, in addition to the ceaseless efforts made by Koreans in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese, there should be concern, assistance as well as cooperation between the people and the authorities of the two countries. We should draw lessons from the groundless or trivial affairs which, springing from the Chinese people's dislike for Koreans, have been blown up and disseminated on the internet; where by we are to reconsider the relationship between Koreans and Vietnamese. What is more, Korea still feels historically ashamed to have sent nearly 350,000 soldiers to the wa rin Vietnam for economic purposes in the past. As our predecessors brought about that historic shame to get bread for our fatherland in exchange, our generation today should approach Vietnam out of a sense of responsibility towards history. Having experienced a period of economic difficulties, Vietnam innovated and started its open-door policy in 1987. However, this event should not be regarded as the reason for us to approach Vietnam with only one rigid economic principle.

인간-컴퓨터 상호작용(HCI) 기술은 과거 컴퓨터란 어렵고 소수의 숙련자만이 다루는 것이라는 인식을 바꾸어 놓았다. HCI 는 컴퓨터 사용자인 인간에게 거부감 없이 수용되기 위해 인간과 컴퓨터가 조화를 이루는데 많은 성과를 거두어왔다. 컴퓨터 비전에 기반을 두고 인간과 컴퓨터의 상호작용을 위하여 사용자 의도 및 행위 인식 연구들이 많이 행해져 왔다. 특히 손을 이용한 제스처는 인간과 인간, 인간과 컴퓨터 그리고 최근에 각광받고 있는 인간과 로봇의 상호작용에 중요한 역할을 해오고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 손 추출 및 추적 알고리즘은 비전에 기반한 호출자 인식과 손 추적 알고리즘을 병행한 자연스러운 손 추출 및 추적 알고리즘이다. 인간과 인간 사이의 상호간의 주의집중 방식인 호출 제스처를 인식하여 기반하여 사용자가 인간과 의사소통 하는 것과 마찬가지로 컴퓨터/로봇의 주의집중을 끌도록 하였다. 또한 호출 제스처에 의해서 추출된 손동작을 추적하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 호출 제스처는 카메라 앞에 존재할 때 컴퓨터/로봇의 사용자가 자신에게 주의를 끌 수 있는 자연스러운 행동이다. 호출 제스처 인식을 통해 복수의 사람이 존재하는 상황 하에서 또한 원거리에서도 사용자는 자신의 의사를 전달하고자 함을 컴퓨터/로봇에게 알릴 수 있다. 호출 제스처를 이용한 손 추출 방식은 자연스러운 손 추출을 할 수 있도록 한다. 현재까지 알려진 손 추출 방식은 피부색을 이용하고 일정 범위 안에 손이 존재한다는 가정하에 이루어져왔다. 이는 사용자가 제스처를 하기 위해서는 특정 자세로 고정되어 있어야 함을 의미한다. 그러나 호출 제스처를 통해 손을 추출하게 될 경우 서거나 앉거나 심지어 누워있는 상태 등 자연스러운 자세에서 손을 추출할 수 있게 되어 사용자의 불편함을 해소 할 수 있다. 손 추적 알고리즘은 자연스러운 상황에서 획득된 손의 위치 정보를 추적하도록 고안되었다. 제안한 알고리즘은 색깔정보와 모션 정보를 융합하여 손의 위치를 검출한다. 손의 피부색 정보는 신경망으로 다양한 피부색 그룹과 피부색이 아닌 그룹을 학습시켜 얻었다. 손의 모션 정보는 연속 영상에서 프레임간에 일정 수준 이상의 차이를 보이는 영역을 추출하였다. 피부색정보와 모션정보로 융합된 영상에서 블랍 분석을 하고 이를 민쉬프트로 추적하여 손을 추적하였다. 제안된 손 추출 및 추적 방법은 컴퓨터/로봇의 사용자가 인간과 마주하듯 컴퓨터/로봇의 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하는데 주목적을 두고 있다.

The provision of warning information on upcoming hazards leading to potential crash occurrence is a significant countermeasure to prevent crashes on the highway. This study presents a methodology for selecting more effective warning messages using a multi-criteria value function. The understandability, preference level, and message reading time were used as measures of effectiveness (MOE) for messages. Expert judgements were incorporated into the value function by analytical hierarchical process (AHP) technique. Field experiments to evaluate the warning messages were conducted in a testbed section on the Jungboo-Naeryuk freeway. The proposed methodology would be a useful tool to support the design of various traffic information messages.

Ideals of beauty has expressed variously through the centuries and in different cultures. Each traditional 'togu' has it's own morphology (in the meaning of nonverval linguistic) as using various type of language in each cultural erea. Korean aesthetics on 'dogu'philosophy introduces a whole new set of basic concepts outside western aesthetic framework of beauty Most distinctive is the insistence on overcoming dichotomies, especially between cognition and emotion, (momism)body and mind, self and other, and individual and group. Several topics are particularly illuminating within aesthetics: furniture, calligraphy, traditional garments pose interesting challenging to the art/nature, inside/outside, ethics/desire dichotomies so crucial to moral and cultural context. aesthetics are equally deserving of philosophical scrutiny: the ways in which philosophy of 'dogu'and aesthetics are integrated with daily life, the emphasis on process or understanding context rather than product itself or product 'form'. Dogu did not separate daily life and aesthetics from understanding social context. Language of 'togu' also has own vocabulary and grammar. But we often cannot gain our persnol experience truthful beauty of togu until understand context of understanding. it would be immpossible to explain ,or to analize different way of thinkings and behaivor precisly without understanding same codes of language.

With development of 3D virtual space technology, diverse studies on 3D virtual space are being conducted because virtual space is being recognized as an appropriate technology for the field of urban and architectural design. However, while the process of urban and architectural design is done based on collaboration of various interested parties, there is lack of studies that support such collaboration. Communication within the virtual space must be provided for 3D virtual space to support collaboration, and a quick and direct technique of expressing one's intentions is required. sketch technique is effective. Ambiguous lines of sketch are extremely effective in that the range of thoughts in the idea stage can be broadened. However, such traditional sketch technique alone is difficult to support collaboration in 3D virtual space. That is because diverse shapes of 3D space require input of sketch. Accordingly in this study, sketch annotation that can effectively deliver intentions in 3D space was studied. Annotation technique using sketch-box was examined.

The aim of this study was to determine importance of coaching knowledge and university curriculum from the perspectives of physical activity lectures. This study focused on importance of knowledge on physical activity education, experiences of teaching methods classes and training programs, comparative importance of coaching knowledge and university education, perceived difficulties in coaching and solutions, and coaching related knowledge needed to learn in their university training. Data were collected from 112 physical activity lectures working in commercial, community, and school settings. Results from qualitative and quantitative data revealed that they perceived knowledge of sport pedagogy very important when coaching their classes or members. While they took fewer coaching methods classes in their universities, their experiences from the classes were helpful in coaching. The differences between perceived importance and the level of education were greater in the areas including consultation of members, management of membership, and communication with members. They tried to solve difficulties by themselves or wanted to discuss with colleagues and employers. If possible they also wanted to seek educational consulting. In order to acquire adequate coaching knowledge the lectures need to received systematic training regarding sports skills teaching methods, theories and practices of various sports, and planning of sports skills coaching while they were in university programs.

A policy of instant messaging usage is offered in this article. First, a brief introduction of instant messaging system structure is described. The main threats and vulnerabilities of Instant messenger (IM) are described in the second part of the paper. Instant messaging applications offer so many advantages in so many different fields that they're fast becoming the preferred communication tool for a number of different professional scenarios. When properly implemented, instant messaging can be a true asset to the business by making communications easier throughout the organization. If instant messaging is carelessly implemented, though, it can cause problems with privacy and may expose the organization to various forms of malware. The solution offered in this paper is one of the effective ways against threats of IM. However, the system cannot be secured entirely. All we can do is reducing the risks.
