These concepts come from the two ideas: (1) Individuals create events to confirm the sentiments that they have about themselves and others in the current situation. (2) During this process structured sets of beliefs (social identity) about attributes of various entities are formed. Statistical analysis of the data from college students in Seoul offers three main findings. First, attributes clustered into four major groups-sociability, responsibility, power and activity. Sociability concerns as sense of approval or disapproval that can elaborated into closeness and intimacy. Responsibility relates to the judgement of morality, public obligation, or other standards. Power refers to social power, physical magnitude and so on. Activity indexes an entity's spontaneity, which can be elaborate into judgements of agency, speed and so on, Second, respondents evaluate negatively political leaders at the dimensions of sociability, responsibility, and activity, They are positively evaluated only at the dimension of power. Third, political leaders who are felt to be closer than others seem to have more political support nowadays.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the meaning of the experience of robot play in the free play time of 5-year-old children in daycare centers with the experience of 5-year-old children in the structural group activities of teachers. To this end, a total of 32 children (15 in the experimental group and 17 in the comparative group) aged 5 were conducted for 1 hour three times a week for 10 weeks. Robots were supported as toys in the classroom of the experimental group, and children in the comparative group freely experienced robot exploration and play during free play time, and children in the comparative group learned the robot's functions and performed structural group activities based on the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum national-level curriculum. As a result of analyzing the difference between pre-test and post-test, the use of robots in free play showed a significant effect in creativity and fluency of children, and a significant effect in expression of pleasure in playability. These results suggest that robots are meaningful as play materials in early childhood education, which aims for infant-led free play, and that it is worth studying the robot experiences of children in these free situations in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of participation in cultural activities on happiness. The empirical results show that participation in cultural activities has a positive impact on individual happiness, because cultural activities cause entertainment and social contacts with people. Furthermore, the levels of income and education are analyzed by dividing them into high and low groups. Noteworthy is that the low-income and less-educated groups show lower participation in cultural activities than those in the high-income and well-educated groups, But the utility magnitude gained through cultural activities is higher. This implies that opportunity costs arising from financial and time constraints are greater in the low-income and less-educated groups than in the high-income and well-educated groups. Finally, for the low-income group, the marginal utility is reduced when spending on cultural activities exceeds certain levels, which means there exist a budget constraint for the low-income group.
