본 논문은 한글-한자 변환에 있어서 여러 대응 한자를 갖는 동형이의어의 모호성 해소 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 변환 방법은 사용자의 개입으로 이루어지므로, 사용자에게 많은 부담을 주고 변환 효율을 떨어뜨린다. 한자선택에 있어서 동형이의어 문제의 근본적 해결을 위해, 본 시스템에서는 의미 분석을 이용한 한글-한자 변환기를 제안한다. 이를 위해 격문법과 관련어 지식 베이스(thesaurus)를 사용한다. 격문법을 사용하여 서술어를 중심으로 관련된 격틀의 의미를 분석한다. 그리고 합성어의 경우에 합성어의 구성 형태에 따라 격문법을 사용하거나 관련어 지식 베이스에서의 의미 근접성을 사용한다. 본 논문은 이와 같이 의미 분석 및 개념 정보를 기반으로 하는 동형이의어의 모호성 해결 방안을 제시하고 이를 반영한 한글-한자 변환 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다.

Knowing the learner's image of a subject-related occupation is good data for determining the direction of a teacher's teaching and learning. Existing drawing image analysis tools have the limitation that it takes a long time to analyze images and drawings of a scientist's appearance. The semantic differential method is a widely used method to analyze images of specific objects. However, research using the semantic differential method has the limitation of failing to reflect terms or factors that change over time by using the adjective pairs used in the initial study as they were in accordance with the research content. In this study, we use the semantic differential method to develop a tool to measure middle school students' scientist image and apply it to middle school students to discuss educational implications regarding the usefulness of measuring scientist image.

MS-DOS 명령을 대신하는 자연어 인터페이스를 연구하였다. 자연어로 입력되는 한국어 문장을 형태소분석, 구문분석, 의미분석, 개념분석을 통해 대응되는 일련의 MS-DOS 명령을 생성한다. 형태소 분석에서는 Tabular Parsing법을 사용하였고, 구문분석에서는 문법적인 수식-피수식 관계를 확대하여 의미상의 수식-피수식 관계를 설정하고 이에 따라 문장을 몇개의 단위로 나눈다. 의미분석에서는 동사와 이들 단위들간의 관계와 단위를 구성하는 어절들간의 관계를 격관계로 설정하여, 개념망(semantic network)으로 문장의 의미를 표현한다. 이 개념망으로부터 MS-DOS 명령을 생성한다.

메타분석은 evidence-based medicine의 한가지 수단으로서 현재까지 알려진 모든 지식을 체계적으로 종합하고 평가하는 분석법을 의미한다. 인의학에서는 80년대 이후 메타분석이 보편화되어 있으나 수의학에서는 거의 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 원고에서는 메타분석법에 대한 수의학 관련 연구자들의 이해를 돕기 위하여 젖소의 요네병 (Johne's disease)을 진단하는데 사용되는 ELISA검사의 정확도에 대한 메타분석기법의 적용사례를 중심으로 설명한다.

본 연구는 의미변별법을 사용하여 우리말 형용사의 의미구조를 파악하였다. 우리말. 형용사의 대표적인 반대어 40쌍이 선정되었으며, 요인분석 결과 5개의 요인이 추출되었다. 의미변별법을 색 이미지에 적용시진 결과도 비슷한 요인들을 추출 했으나, 전체 변량을 설명하는 양에 있어서 차이를 나타냈다. 본 연구 결과는 형용사를 사용하는 감성연구의 기반기술을 제공할 것이라 예측된다.

Can law be combined with television entertainment programs? This paper explores the ways in which law systems and law culture are reflected in and reflect the television legal series. TV legal series, such as legal dramas and infotainment shows, provide platforms for the audiences, who otherwise have few opportunity in real life, to engage with legal systems in societies. Adopting loosely dramatized reality programs, these legal series not only entertain and inform audiences but also educate citizens. This paper combines analyses of theoretical debates on law and television with analysis of TV text. The result shows that , dramatized enactment based on true stories and criminal cases, may have an important ideological role in which fictionalized dramas mask the hard realities and authoritative legal systems. By doing so, TV legal shows play their roles not as mere symbolic representation but as powerful institutions that construct the image of law and reality.

Maurer가 제안한 유니버설 통계적 검정을 소개하고 검정에 사용된 통계량의 의미를 분석한다. 기존 검정법을 포괄하는 이 검정법은 보다 넓은 의미의 통계적 결점들을 탐지해낼 수 있다. 또한, 검정에 사용되는 통계량은 엔트로피와 밀접한 연관이 있으며 암호학적 응용에서 시스템의 안전성에 영향을 키치는 요소들을 탐지해 낸다. 이러한 특징과 함께 기존 검정법 보다 상당히 긴 표본 수열을 필요로 한다는 사실이 유니버설 검정의 단점으로 지적되어 왔다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 빈도(freequency) 검정법과의 비교를 통해서 미세한 편의(bias)를 탐지해내기 위한 도구로서는 유니버설 검정이 오히려 더 효율적이라는 사실을 보였다.

많은 데이터들이 데이터베이스로 구축되면서, 데이터로부터 의미 있는 정보나 지식을 도출하기 위한 새로운 분석법이 제기 되었는데, 그 중 하나가 데이터 마이닝이다. 데이터 마이닝은 급격하게 증가하는 데이터들을 보다 효과적으로 분석하여 유용하고 의미 있는 정보나 지식을 찾기 위해 수행하는 데이터 분석 방법이다. 하지만 이러한 방법이 공간데이터에 적용될 때는 공간 데이터의 특수성으로 인해 그 효과를 기대하기가 어렵다. (중략)

Tse와 Cruden(1979)에 의해 암석 절리면 거칠기 정량화에 대한 연구가 시작된 이후 통계적인 정량화방법, 프랙탈 차원을 이용하는 방법 그리고 스펙트럼 분석을 이용하는 방법이 제안되었다. 이러한 통계적 정량화방법은 치수의존적이라는 단점이 있으며, 프랙탈 차원을 이용하는 방법은 크로스오버 차원이라는 문제점이 있는 것으로 평가되고 있다. 이 문제점들을 보완하는 방법으로 스펙트럼 분석법이 제시되어 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 Barton과 Choubey(1977)가 제안한 10개의 절리면 프로파일을 수치화하고 통계적 분석, 프랙탈 차원 분석 그리고 스펙트럼 분석을 실시하여 이들 문제점을 살펴보고 스펙트럼 분석법이 위상이 변조된 프로파일에 대하여 문제가 있음을 확인하였다. 이들 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 측정간격과 프로파일의 기울기를 의미하는 통계적 파라미터의 관계를 선형으로 회귀분석하였다. 이렇게 구한 10개의 1차식의 기울기와 절편은 JRC와 매우 상관성이 높게 나타났다. 이 기울기와 절편을 거칠기 정량화의 변수로 사용함으로서 통계적 분석법에서의 치수의존적인 문제와 스펙트럼 분석에서의 위상변조의 문제를 해결하였다.

In early 21st century, universities in Korea has been asked the new roles according to the changes of educational and social environment. With Korea's NURI and Brain Korea 21 project support, some chosen research oriented universities now should produce "teacher of teachers". We look 100 years back America's mathematics and see many resemblances between the status of US mathematics at that time and the current status of Korean mathematics, and find some answer for that. E. H. Moore had produced many good research mathematicians through his laboratory teaching techniques. R. L. Moore was his third PhD students. He developed his Texas/Moore method. In this article, we analyze what R. L. Moore had done through his American School of Topology and Moore method. We consider the meaning that early University of Texas case gives us in PBL(Problem Based Learning) process.
