  • 'Regardless of our consciousness, Color is the energy that we are affected by positively or negatively.' said Johannes Itten. When we see the color in nature, the color acts to our emotion most preferentially and most strongly. These experiences of color become symbol or icon to us and express states of his mind as allegory. The color of animation is the visual element of image media, the image which act as important meaning, the attribute of light, and visual-perceptional factor. With molding factor form, light and shade, the color function importantly as media which express a person and a person's circumstance. In animation, the color is used symbolically to suggest not only mental change of character but also the condition. The transmission of mental meaning express symbolism of the color iconically. Accordingly, the color for image express of animation take on universality. This study focus on how the symbolical meaning of the color is reflected in a work.

  • The iconic language interlace is designed to provide more convenient environments for communication to the target system than the keyboard-based interface. For this work, tendencies and features of vocabulary are analyzed in conversation corpora constructed from the corresponding domains with high degree of utilization, and the meaning and vocabulary system of iconic language are constructed through application of natural language processing methodologies such as morphological, syntactic and semantic analyses. The part of speech and grammatical rules of iconic language are defined in order to make the situation corresponding the icon to the vocabulary and meaning of the Korean language and to communicate through icon sequence. For linguistic ambiguity resolution which may occur in the iconic language and for effective semantic processing, semantic data focused on situation of the iconic language are constructed from the general purpose Korean semantic dictionary and subcategorization dictionary. Based on them, the Korean language generation from the iconic interface in semantic domain is suggested.

  • Nowadays, mass media innovates and has the great power of revolution of our lives. Marshall MacLuhan says new media is the new method of language and also, it is connecting to the real world possibly. The letters make media world a big different. At the end of voiceless age, the caption not only delivers means of the contents but also provides for the composition of the screen itself. In these kinds of composition elements contain explanations such as aesthetic, entertainment, and revival aspects. The caption as translation that used to use was as changing as new way of exploring method. To deliver means of contents, the letters of inside screen has extremely big changes and meaning as well. The design of lettering is the new aesthetic method of media world. Also, the elements of lettering is approaching as the new way of lives. Therefore, this study is to provide the aspects of the lettering to the mass media respectively.

  • 학습자가 원하는 학습자원을 컴퓨터가 스스로 찾아내서 학습자에게 전달해주고, 더 나아가 새로운 지식까지 추론해서 제공해 줄 수는 없을까? 살아 있는 e러닝이 되기 위해서는 컴퓨터가 학습자가 원하는 학습자원의 의미를 이해하고, 적시적(Just-in-time)으로 학습자에게 맞는 형태(Just-for-me)로 학습자원을 제공해 주어 학습이 단편적이 아닌 연속적, 통합적으로 이뤄질 수 있는 적응적 학습 환경이 필요하다.의미의 웹이라 불리 우고 있는 시멘틱 웹(Semantic Web)은 의미적으로 연결돼 있는 학습 정보를 컴퓨터가 의미를 이해해서 학습자가 원하는, 학습자 수준에 맞는 정보를 제공해주고, 더 나아가 지식까지도 추론해서 학습자에게 가장 적합한 형태로 전달해 줄 수 있는 강력한 매카니즘으로 부각되고 있다. 이에 필자는 살이 있는 e러닝이 되기 위해서는 시멘틱 웹과의 통합이 필요하다고 생각해 2회에 걸쳐 시멘틱 웹과, 시멘틱 웹을 e러닝에 어떻게 적용할 것인지에 대해 애기해 보고자 한다.

  • The application of reflex media in education has been widely used in the aspects of teaching & learning method, humanitarian education and the culture of school lives. It has been resulted from the generality of the applicable scope within conveying the information, propagation velocity, and the efficiency of the amount of conveyable information through the reflex. To utilize this kind of efficiency of reflex media in producing new graduation culture, I intend to show students the graduate reflex including their 3years' school lives and try to find out its effect from them. And then with this result I have studied the changes of the students' behavior in the graduation ceremony. As a result It is shown that the intent of graduation reflex which aims to look back into their past and keep in mind it has been reflected to students. In addition it is prove ascertain their friendship and love for their school have been lifted while watching the reflex with transferring the media image message.

  • In the glocal era, the competitiveness of local authorities leads to national competitiveness. Even though they have competitively adopted slogans to stay competitive, the process has not been systematic. The goal of this study is to provide basic data needed to develop and utilize urban brand slogans effectively. In terms of a research scope, 48 slogans currently in use by 24 local authorities of Gyeongsangbuk-do as of April 2020 were chosen. Concerning the lingual representation of such slogans, diverse languages such as Korean, English and Sino-Korean have been used. In terms of meaning of meaning and material type, there was a lack of coherence among the slogans. In addition, they were poor in representing identity, and abstract image upgrade types were commonly found. It is anticipated that the study results would make a contribution to the development of urban brand slogans and value generation.
