  • 본 연구의 목적은 미국 의류점포의 판매규정과 고객의 점포에 대한 기대가 판매원과 소매점에 대한 만족과 평가에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다 미국에 거주하는 한국 소비자들을 대상으로 먼저 시각적으로 분위기가 다른 두 점포에 따른 고객의 서비스에 대한 기대를 측정하기 위해 슬라이드를 보여주고 의류업체의 판매규정에 따른 의류에 관련된 문제상황을 설명해주는 시나리오(판매원 노력에 의한 문제 해결 또는 소비자 노력에 의한 문제해결)를 읽게 한 후 설문지를 작성하게 하였다 그 결과 업체의 판매규정이 판매원의 서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가 의류점포서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Development and Application of a High School-University Linked Maker Education Program Using Smart Clothing Technology: Development of Emotional Eco-bag Applying E-textiles and Transfer Dyeing (스마트의류 테크놀로지를 적용한 고교-대학 연계 메이커교육 프로그램 개발과 적용: 전자섬유와 전사염을 적용한 감성에코백 개발)

  • This study evaluates a program developed for a high school-university linked class. The program combines maker education and smart clothing technology, which has great potential. First, in the preparation stage, the dyeing design course incorporates the contents of previous studies on smart clothing and maker education. Second, in the development stage, a program was developed to make emotional eco-bags by applying the transfer dyeing technique using transfer paper for inkjet printers and smart clothing technology using conductivity thread and LED bulbs. Third, in the implementation stage, the class was offered to 17 high school students who want to major in clothing and textiles. Lastly, the class was evaluated. The program had a 4.95 satisfaction level as measures on a five-point scale. Furthermore, this paper suggested an advanced program with Lilypad Arduino. In conclusion, through this study, it was confirmed that the emotional eco-bag development program applied with conductive yarn and transfer dye could more easily produce smart clothing technology, thereby expanding the thinking of high school students regarding the clothing major.

Influence of Country-of-Origin on American Consumers' Evaluation of Apparel Products Made in Korea (원산지 표시가 미국소비자의 한국산 의류 제품 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구는 원산지 표시 (country-of-origin)가 미국 소비자의 한국산 의류상품 평가와 제품 이미지 (product image)에 비치는 영향을 고찰하기 위하여 소비자 특성과 원산지 표시의 영향, 의류 상품의 제품이미지와의 관계를 집중 분석하였다. 미국 전역의 성인을 무작위 추출하여 설문지를 우편으로 발송 회수하여 284부의 설문지가 자료분석에 포함되었다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 미국 소비자들은 한국과 중국, 한국산 의류제품과 중국간 의류제품의 차이를 거의 느끼지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 미국 소비자들은 한국산 의류와 중국산 의류는 모두 저가의 위신성이 낮고 대량 생산되어 부분처리가 떨어지는 평범한 제품이라고 인식라고 있었다. 한국산 의류는 유행색의 사용이나 유행성에서는 많이 뒤떨어지지 않으나, 위신성과 부분처리에서 특히 낮게 평가를 받았다. 라이프스타일, 점포유형에 따른 쇼핑빈도, 성별, 교육정도, 소득수준, 인종에 따른 제품 이미지 의 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 연령, 결혼여부, 직업에 따른 차이는 유의하였다. 50세 미만의 연령층이 50세 이상치 연령층보다, 결혼한 사람이 걸혼하지 않은 사람보다(독신, 이혼 등) 좀 더 긍정적인 제품이미지를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 다른 직업을 가진 사람들보다는 전업주부의 제품이미지가 더 긍정적이었다. 의류제품이 다주 어떤 제품보다도 한국을 대표하는 상품으로 나타나서, 한국산 의류제품의 이미지 향상은 섬유업계만의 문제가 아니라, 다른 산업계와 정부, 단체가 모두 힘을 모아서 노력하여야 할 과제임을 시사하였다.

Development of the Multimedia Contents for the Clothing & Textiles -Understanding h Analysis of Textile Materials- (멀티미디어를 활용한 의류학관련 교과목 콘텐츠의 개발 -의류소재 이해 및 분석-)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop the multimedia contents for the subject . is the subject to understand and analyze the characteristics of the textile materials and to be putting the key point to utilize the textile materials as the fashion materials. 1 developed the contents using multimedia system standing on the basis of Internet. The developed contents were organized to induce the interest. The sounds, pictures. computer graphics, animations, text, AOD and AOD etc. were utilized in these contents. These contents were consisted of preview, restudy, and the feedback through question. These contents can be executed directly in Web browser through Internet. Address is http://web.cnu.ac.kr/-fabric. Ⅰ applied this multimedia contents to actual class. It was utilized much more than textbook and it was turned out to be efficient in the experiment class. It was inspected that the most of students were satisfied with the utilizing these multimedia contents.

A Study on the Application of Clothing and Textiles Education to Industrial Work (의류학 분야 대학교육내용의 산업 실무 활용에 관한 연구 -의류소재 관련 교과목 분석을 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzes the current educational curricula in the field of Clothing and Textiles in order to develop appropriate educational methods and courses. We reviewed the curricula offered by 58 Clothing and Textiles Departments at four-year universities in Korea. We analyzed the educational content of each curriculum by dividing all of the courses offered into eight categories. The analysis was based on the information posted on the universities' Internet websites, and the analysis was performed by using descriptive statistics. The results of this study are as follows: First, the educational courses of the Clothing and Textiles Departments are composed of, 36.2% design, 20.4% production, and 14.5% textile categories. In comparison with the results of a similar study conducted in 1999, emphases on the design, distribution, and marketing categories have increased, while the emphases on the production, apparel material, basic knowledge, and consumption science categories have decreased. Second, in the case of the apparel material category, basic knowledge of materials constituted 18.5%, the largest part of the category. The average number of units offered in the area of apparel materials by the 58 Departments was 17 units per year. The curricula were found to vary by regions of the country. The universities located in the Chungcheong region offer more textile material courses, but the universities in the Capital region offer fewer textile material courses than other regions. Departments that are affiliated with universities that emphasize Art and Design have more courses on basic knowledge, dyeing and finishing, and fabric design than other universities.

Research on the Names of Colleges and Departments Affiliated with the Department of Clothing & Textiles and Analysis of Curriculum (의류학 관련 학과의 소속 단과 대학과 학과 명칭 및 교과과정에 대한 연구)

  • The current status of the curricula of departments related to Clothing & Textiles was checked. The names of colleges and departments affiliated with Clothing & Textiles were also examined. Data on introduction of curricula and subjects disclosed on the website of 60 universities were collected, and the total number of subjects collected was 2,306. As a result, the following conclusions were reached: First, departments related to Clothing & Textiles were the most frequently affiliated with the art/design schools. Depending on the name of the department, the colleges they belong to were different. It was found to be related to the name of the department and the name of the college. Second, According to a survey of the percentage of each major area in the curriculum, the portion of the fashion design area was the highest. The results of checking the composition ratio of the major areas according to the department name showed that there were differences in the curriculum according to the department name. Third, we looked for unusual subjects that were not found in other universities, which could be largely summarized into three: those for characterization, those for preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and those related to the current situation in the department of Clothing & Textiles. Fourth, we examined subjects related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and found that words such as 'sustainable', 'convergence', 'smart', 'knowledge property' and 'computer' were in common. However, the number of subjects was extremely low.
