The purpose of this study is to analyze the job satisfaction of hospital workers according to the type of hospital and to provide basic data for successful hospital management. For data analysis, frequency analysis and chi-square analysis are performed for general characteristics, and Kendall's tau correlation analysis is performed to see the correlation between statistically significant factors among job environment, value realization, organizational characteristics, and individual ability factors. did A total of 241 people working at primary, secondary, and tertiary medical institutions were surveyed. Among the value realization factors in the research results, self-esteem and rewarding (p<0.05), autonomy and creativity (p<0.05), and among personal competencies factors, workload (p<0.05) were statistically A significant difference was seen. Value realization and personal competence factors were found to influence job satisfaction (p<0.001). In conclusion, the most basic for the qualitative and quantitative growth of the hospital should be the job satisfaction of the internal members, on the basis of which positive medical services should be provided to the patients.

As the hand-held mobile devices are widely used, they are recently coming into convergence with medical diagnostic systems. Furthermore, the wireless mobile Internet and the various kinds of communication devices are rapidly coming into wide use converging with medical technology. The mobile communication environments can make people get more health care services beyond space and time. In this paper, we implement and evaluate the mobile client and the medical diagnostic information server for transmitting, searching and updating the medical diagnostic information. The DICOM CT image and the compressed JPEG 2000 CT image are statistically evaluated by t-test performance whether those images are clinically appropriate. In the case of the DICOM CT image, we realize that the average value is relatively more appropriate to the clinical diagnosis than the JPEG 2000 CT image.

This study examined and compared the droplet infection prevention activity and cough etiquette knowledge among nursing hospital workers. Data were collected from March 4 to 29, 2019, through personal interviews using a questionnaire in 177 nursing hospital workers (health care provider: n=61, non-health care provider: n=116). The data were analyzed using a x²-test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and ANOVA. The general characteristics were statistically significant between the two groups in terms of sex and age. The prevention activities of droplet infection showed statistically significant differences between the two groups in usually carrying a tissue, usually carrying a handkerchief, usually carrying a mask, carrying a handkerchief at respiratory symptoms, hand washing frequency, and cough etiquette compliance. Knowledge of cough etiquette showed significant differences between the two groups. The knowledge of cough etiquette, according to the non-health provider's prevention activities of droplet infection, was statistically significant in usually carrying a mask and cough etiquette education. Therefore, it is necessary to raise the knowledge about cough etiquette and develop strategies for habitual cough etiquette for each nursing hospital worker.

As evaluating the health literacy is getting important, various measures for evaluation are being developed. Nevertheless, discussions about developing proper measures in Korean are still inactive. Therefore in this paper, we proposed Korean REALM (rapid estimate of adult literacy in medicine) measure that is composed of five point scale and investigated about its validity. As a result, we could find that Korean REALM measure which is composed of five point scale has high reliability, and that it formed one dimension as a result of factor analysis. Positive responses were lower than two point scale and correlation coefficient with NVS (the newest vital sign) appeared statistically significant. Therefore, we could conclude that Korean REALM measure that is composed of five point scale is a valid measurement. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences between general students and department of nursing students about health literacy.

In this paper, the 1.24 million elderly patient medical data (HIRA-APS-2014-0053) provided by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service and weather data are analyzed with generalized estimating equation (GEE) model and long short term memory (LSTM) based recurrent neural network (RNN) model to predict the number of disease occurrence. To this end, we estimate the patient's residence as the area of the served medical institution, and the local weather data and medical data were merged. The status of disease occurrence is divided into three categories(occurrence of disease of interest, occurrence of other disease, no occurrence) during a week. The probabilities of categories are estimated by the GEE model and the RNN model. The number of cases of categories are predicted by adding the probabilities of categories. The comparison result shows that predictions of RNN model are more accurate than that of GEE model.

In recent years, the "social distance" has drastically reduced overseas travelers. On the other hand, for personal safety and security, it is expected that interest and demand for CCTV, electric alarm and signaling devices, electric diagnostics and medical devices will increase significantly. The purpose of this paper is to find out the effect of airport transfer passengers and exports of CCTV, electrical diagnostics and medical devices, electrical alarms and signaling devices on exports to Korea, and the synchronism of each variable. To this end, this study used a total of 231 monthly data from January 2000 to April 2020 in the National Statistics Service. As a result of empirical analysis, CCTV and electrical diagnostics and medical devices showed relatively high synchronization with respect to exports to Korea. Electric alarms & signaling devices and transit passengers also showed a certain level of synchronization with exports, but were relatively weak.

From Jan. 1 2009 to Mar. 31 2009, a study surveyed 295 national clinic medical institutions that was newly enrolled in Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service to identify the factors depending on whether the administrative personnel influences on the management of the clinic medical institutions. The survey showed that the medical institutions with administrative personnels affected more adjustments than those without administrative personnels and it appeared to be statistically significant except one time(p<0.01). The result of the survey tells whether the administrative personnel is or not in medical institutions has important effects on the reduction. So, it is considered that the placement of administrative specialists in the hospital is very important for medical institutions.

The study was carried out to identify the relationship of patients' self-rating and nurses' rating on health literacy of hospitalized patients. Data were collected using the Korean Functional Health Literacy Test (KFHLT) which was revised for hospitalized patients and Single Item Literacy Screener. A total of 178 subjects, which consisted of 89 hospitalized patients and 89 nurses taking care of them, were recruited from medical and surgical wards of E university hospital. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 program. The results showed that the average health literacy score of the subjects was $11.45{\pm}4.22$ out of 17 and the average correct answer rate was 67.3%. Patient health literacy was significantly different by age, education, occupation and reading handouts. The patients' self-rating had significant correlation with health literacy measured by KFHLT while nurses' rating did not. There was no significant correlation between patients' self-rating and nurses' rating. The findings suggest that patients' self-rating might be available to assess patient health literacy in hospitals and a careful approach is required when nurses use a single-item rating.

Medical tourism which is considered a new growth engine of the 21th century has been rapidly developing in the both quantity and quality. However, medical tourism products offered by our country are not enough to be differentiated according to the need of medical tourists. This study tried to search for the solutions in the medical tourism attributes. This confirmed whether the involvement of Hallyu(Korean wave) which has been growing steadily since 2000 affects medical tourism or not. For these purposes, there were 5 hypotheses set and empirical analysis was conducted through a survey. SPSS 20.0 statistical program was used for the empirical analysis and the established hypotheses were all adopted as a result of verification. It was thus confirmed that the involvement of Hanrye affected medical tourism attributes, satisfaction and behavioral intentions. Also, medical tourism attributes affected satisfaction and behavioral intentions.
