Medical Information Privacy Concerns in the Use of the EHR System: A Grounded Theory Approach (의료정보 프라이버시 염려에 대한 근거이론적 연구: 전자건강기록(EHR) 시스템을 중심으로)

  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems are widely adopted worldwide in hospitals for generating and exchanging records of patient information. Recent developments are moving towards implementing interoperable EHR systems that enable information to be shared seamlessly across healthcare organizations. In this context, this paper explores the factors that cause medical information privacy concerns, identifies how people react to privacy invasion and what their perceptions are towards the acceptance of the EHR system. Interviews were conducted to draw a grounded theory on medical information privacy concerns in the use of EHRs. Medical information privacy concerns are caused by perceived sensitivity of medical information and the weaknesses in security technologies. Trust in medical professionals, medical institutions and technologies plays an important role in determining people's reaction to privacy invasion and their perceptions on the use of EHRs.

  • What is an alternative to medical information security of medical information more secure preservation and safety of various types of security threats should be taken, starting from the software design. Medical information security method based on the design software architecture of today's medical information security has become an important task of the framework will be able to provide.

  • The integrated medical information system is an effective medical diagnosis assistance system which offers an environment in which medial images and diagnosis information can be shared. Because of the large-scale medical institutions and their cooperating organizations are operating the integrated medical information systems, they can share medical images and diagnosis information. However, this system can only stored and transmitted information without other functions. To resolve this problem and to enhance the efficiency of diagnostic activities, a medical image analysis system is necessary. In this paper, the proposed relationship method analyzes medical images for features generation. Under this method, the medical images have been segmented into several objects. The medical image features have been extracted from each segmented image. Then, extracted features were applied to the Relationship Method for medical image analysis. Several experimental results that show the effectiveness of the proposed method are also presented.

Prescribes penalties of up to a fairly systematic method from the case records of patients would not have occurred in the management and implementation of the law and the protection of the author of the book focuses on the subject of medical records and physician records between patient confidentiality and privacy it can be seen that the method defined in. This indicates the need for the establishment of an independent medical information laws to protect all records relating to the patient systematically Korea also.

  • For efficient compatible system between medical clinics, the medical information has to be built on a standardized protocol such as a HL7 for text data and a DICOM for image data. But it is difficult to exchange information between medical clinics because the systems and softwares are different and also a structure of data and a type of code. Therefore we analyze a structure of DICOM file and design an integrated database for effective information sharing and exchange. The WISD system suggested in this paper separate the DICOM file transmitted by medical clinics to text data and image data and store it in the integrated DB(database) by standardized protocol respectively. It is very efficient that each medical clinic can search and exchange information by web browser using the suggested system. The WISD system can not only search and control of image data and patient information through integrated database and internet, but share medical information without extra charge like construction of new system.

  • 임상공학 분야에서의 두 가지 트랜드의 변화가 주목된다. 급성질환에서 만성질환으로 의료/건강관리의 중요성이 증가하는 것이고, 이를 다루는 의료정보의 처리기기가 컴퓨터화 되고 있으며, 통합되어 이용되어 가는 것이다. 또한, 이 두 가지의 변화가 융합되는 방향으로 임상공학 분야의 연구의 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 의료정보처리의 요구사항을 만족하기 위하여 기 연구한 의료영상기반 협업 플랫폼 PACS-Grid[1]을 바탕으로 만성질환 지향형 의료정보 통합 가시화의 통합방법을 다룬다. 더불어 이를 지원하기 위한 서비스 지향형 PACS-Grid 플랫폼을 제안한다.

  • 개인의 의료 정보는 개인의 프라이버시에 관련되므로 민감하게 취급되어야 하는 정보이다. 이러한 개인정보 유출은 유출된 정보의 해당 당사자의 사회적 고립과 정보의 질에 따라 당사자의 생명도 위협하게 되므로 철저한 판리가 필요하다. 따라서 의사, 간호사, 환자, 일반인 등의 사용자 식별을 통해 병원 기록의 접근 통제 및 사용 권한에 따른 정보의 암호화 수준과 해당 정보에 특화된 역할기반 접근제어(Role-Based Access Control)를 제정해야 한다. 환자 자신이 자신의 의료정보를 특정한 사람에게 접근 권한을 주어 확인할 수도 있게 하고 그 외의 다른 부분들도 제어 할 수 있게 권한을 부여 할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 현재 의료 및 진찰 정보 관리를 위해 RBAC모델을 기반으로 의료정보보호를 위한 접근제어 방법을 분석하고 각 정보의 객체들과 사용자 간의 효율적인 역할 분담과 한계를 통해 의료 정보의 보호방안을 고찰한다.

  • 정보시스템 산업의 발전은 다양한 서비스 분야에서 많은 편의성을 증가시키고 있다. 또한, IT 산업이 IoT 환경으로 집중됨에 따라 다양한 서비스가 개발 되고 있으며, 다양한 IoT 제품들은 의료기기를 포함한다, 의료 환경에서는 네트워크에 연결되는 의료기기를 통해 환자를 위한 다양한 건강관리 서비스, 생명유지 서비스 등을 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 의료기기에 대한 보안 위협이 부각되면서, 인명 피해로 확산되는 것을 막기 위한 보안 관리 체계가 필요한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 의료기기에 대한 보안 현황을 조사하기 위해 의료기기 관련 보안 위협 사례를 분석하고, 미국, 유럽, 일본의 의료기기 정보보호 대책 및 국제 표준화 현황을 분석한다.
