Developing Standard Transmission System for Radiology Reporting Including Key Images (Key Image를 포함한 방사선과 판독결과지 표준전송시스템 개발)

  • Development of hospital information system and Picture Archiving Communication System is not new in the medical field, and the development of internet and information technology are also universal. In the course of such development, however, it is hard to share medical information without a refined standard format. Especially in the department of radiology, the role of PACS has become very important in interchanging information with other disparate hospital information systems. A specific system needs to be developed that radiological reports are archived into a database efficiently. This includes sharing of medical images. A model is suggested in this study in which an internal system is developed where radiologists store necessary images and transmit them in the standard international clinical format, Clinical Document Architecture, and share the information with hospitals. CDA document generator was made to generate a new file format and separate the existing storage system from the new system. This was to ensure the access to required data in XML documents. The model presented in this study added a process where crucial images in reading are inserted in the CDA radiological report generator. Therefore, this study suggests a storage and transmission model for CDA documents, which is different from the existing DICOM SR. Radiological reports could be better shared, when the application function for inserting images and the analysis of standard clinical terms are completed.

  • The research of psychological supporting systems as safety and welfare for disaster victims damaged psychologically as well as physically by a sudden disaster to return to effectively their social life has been carried. The domestic National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) is operating the Disaster Victim Psychology Support Center that helps with curing damaged psychology and studies the transmission system of psychology management services, the classification of victims for disaster psychology support, and emergency consultation method to systemically support disaster psychology management. However, current psychology supporting centers provide the simple information for supporting centers such as medical and social welfare organizations. The development research of IT-based management systems to obtain needed information to construct the proposed systems curing psychological damage is still primitive step. Therefore, this paper shall propose a GIS-based integrated management system for victims and managers to effectively share related information one another and to return to victims' social life as soon as possible. Also, we implement a simple prototype system based on the Web. The proposed system supports the spatial search and statistical analysis based on map as well as keyword search, because having the location information on disaster victims, damage occurrence places, welfare and medical institutions, and psychological supporting centers. In addition, this system has the advantage reducing the frequency of disaster damage by providing aids in making efficient policy systems for the managers.

의과대학생의 미래와 진로지도

  • 의사에게 있어 자신의 적성과 능력에 부합하는 세부 전공을 선택하는 것은 자신의 자아실현뿐만 아니라 환자들에게도 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 이것은 의과대학생들의 전공 선택을 위해 의과대학 재학 중에 이루어지는 진로개발의 중요성을 시사한다. 이 글은 의과대학생 개개인의 적성과 소질에 따른 전공 선택을 어떻게 지도할 수 있는지 단계별 진로지도 전략에 대해 고찰하였다. 전공 선택 지도의 첫 번째 단계는 자기평가이다. 자기평가는 자신의 적성과 능력에 맞는 전공을 선택하기 위해 스스로에 대한 정보를 모으고 이해하는 과정이다. 두 번째는 전공탐색 단계이다. 이 단계는 자신의 적성과 능력에 부합할 가능성이 높은 전공과목에 대한 정보를 수집하는 것이다. 세 번째는 전공 선택 단계이다. 이 과정은 학생 스스로에 대한 자기평가 결과 및 전공에 대한 탐색 결과에 기초하여 자신이 어떤 분야에 더 적합한가에 대한 의사결정을 하는 과정이다. 전공 선택을 위한 접근 방법의 마지막은 전공 영역의 수련을 위해서 자신이 결정한 전공 선택을 이행하는 단계이다. 이 단계에서는 자신이 선택한 전공영역, 그리고 전공의 수련교육과정을 제공하는 교육기관에 응시원서를 제출하고, 면접을 실시하는 과정이 포함된다. 의과대학생들이 자신의 적성과 소질에 따른 전공 선택과 의과대학생 개개인의 선택의 문제를 넘어 의료 인력의 수급, 의료서비스의 질적인 수준과 밀접하게 관련되어 있다. 그러므로 의과대학은 대학의 책무성 수행차원에서 학생들의 가치관 확립과 진로지도를 위한 체계적인 학생 진로지도 프로그램을 개발하고 학생들을 적극적으로 지원해야 한다.

Genetic Counseling in Korean Health Care System (한국 의료제도와 유전상담 서비스의 구축)

  • Over the years Korean health care system has improved in delivery of quality care to the general population for many areas of the health problems. The system is now being recognized in the world as the most cost effective one. It is covered by the uniform national health insurance policy for which most people in Korea are mandatory policy holders. Genetic counseling service, however, which is well recognized as an integral part of clinical genetics service deals with diagnosis and management of genetic condition as well as genetic information presentation and family support, is yet to be delivered in comprehensive way for the patients and families in need. Two major obstacles in providing genetic counseling service in korean health care system are identified; One is the lack of recognition for the need for genetic counseling service as necessary service by the national health insurance. Genetic counseling consumes a significant time in delivery and the current very low-fee schedule for physician service makes it very difficult to provide meaningful service. Second is the critical shortage of qualified professionals in the field of medical genetics and genetic counseling who can provide the service of genetic counseling in clinical setting. However, recognition and understanding of the fact that the scope and role of genetic counseling is expanding in post genomic era of personalized medicine for delivery of quality health care, will lead to the efforts to overcome obstacles in providing genetic counseling service in korean health care system. Only concerted efforts from health care policy makers of government on clinical genetics service and genetic counseling for establishing adequate reimbursement coverage and professional communities for developing educational program and certification process for professional genetic counselors, are necessary for the delivery of much needed clinical genetic counseling service in Korea.

  • Purpose: As a part of analysis of home-based cancer patients management of public health centers, regional cancer center, and hospice institution in Jeju, this study was undertaken to establish their role. Methods: We investigated current status of hospice palliative care, especially home-based cancer patients management and summary demand of public health centers. Results: Services provided through the home-based cancer patients management project included physical, emotional, spiritual and education/informative services, even though there was little difference between them. The result showed that in the view of patients there was little relationship between public health centers, regional cancer center and hospice palliative institution. Conclusion: The relationship between home-based cancer patients management and institutions should be reinforced. Patients in acute state and difficulty care of patients should be referred to regional cancer center whereas maintenance state of patients should be referred to public health center.

  • In this study, the government's investment, laws, regulations, and difficulties related to IoT radio technology in the energy and medical fields are mainly analyzed. Also, plans for dissemination, technology preemption, and commercialization are derived to enhance global competitiveness. Research on ways to secure and predict radio wave application technologies in energy and medical fields, and to alleviate barriers to entry for new business operators. Analyzes the efficiency of support measures using expert groups in each energy and medical field, analyzes the utilization value of accumulated data, and proposes mid- to long-term promotion systems and support measures, as well as utilization measures of data held by external agencies related to radio waves.

  • Recently, the business environment of healthcare has changed rapidly due to the entering the mobile era, the intensifying global competition, and the explosion of healthcare needs. Despite of necessity in expanding new IT-based medical services and investing IT resources to respond environmental changes, the small and medium sized hospitals could not realize these requirements due to the limited management resources. CHISSMH is designed and presented in this research to provide high valued clouding medical services with reasonable price. CHISME is designed to maximize resource pooling and sharing through the visualization. By doing so, Cloud Service provider could minimize maintenance cost of cloud data center, provide high level services with reasonable pay-per-use price.   • To provide medical services to patients who have a terminal illness, recent hospital patients to monitor the state of the device attached to the body, the body insertion device is. U-Healthcare Environment and hospital officials indiscriminately exploited by the patient's vital information, however, could threaten the patient's life problems are appearing. In this paper, depending on the level of authority, hospital officials, Union of ID-based authentication model is proposed to use a patient's vital information. Union proposed model identify different authentication system is used in hospitals that exist in various forms in a number of ID information, health / medical information sharing between hospitals without exposure to unnecessary personal information, you can be assured of the anonymity. In particular, with easy access to patient information, hospital officials about the malicious act to protect patient information to access level for the rights granted by third parties to prevent easy access.

  • 우리나라만의 독창적인 의료체계인 사상체질은 의학적 본질의 우수성에도 불구하고 크게 대중화 되지 않았으며 인지도 또한 높지 못하다. 이는 사상체질에서 가장 중요한 부분이 사상체질의 정확한 분류인데 현재 임상현장에서 행해지고 있는 사상체질 분류 방식은 임상의의 경험과 주관적 소견에 의해 분류되고 있기 때문에 진단 결과에 객관성이 없고 정확도가 낮게 평가되고 있는 실정이다. 이를 위해 사상체질 진단 방법 중 하나인 용모사기론을 IT공학의 영상처리에 적용하여 안면 영상 분석을 통해 사상체질 분류를 수행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 사상의학적 원전과 기존의 방법들을 조사, 연구하여 사상체질 분류의 중요한 요소를 결정하고 시스템 구현을 목표로 실험을 통해 사상체질 분류의 유의성을 갖는 측정 요소에 대해 검증해 보고자 한다.

  • 한의학은 대체의학이나 예방의학으로서의 활용이 가능한 우리나라의 독창적인 의료 체계이지만 세계시장 진출은 고사하고 국내에서의 인지도마저 낮은 실정이다. 이를 위해 한의학의 진단 기술과 IT 기술을 융합하여 한의학의 진단의 객관성을 확립함으로서 한의학의 대중화 및 인지도 상승을 위해 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으나 망진에서 가장 중요한 색윤에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정에서 본 논문에서는 색윤을 특정 할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 이를 실험을 통해 입증하고자 한다.
