Medical tour can be said to be a new high added-value tour industry of 21st century. The development of varied and distinguished medical tour products by each country will further vitalize the medical tour industry. As the interest in such medical tour increases, it is necessary to analyze the demand and interests of tourists accurately and prepare medical tour products to be provided in order to develop and promote medical tour products. The government considers the medical tour industry as an industry with high expected effects in job creation through promotion of experts in global healthcare industry and national economy development through high added-value creation, and has expanded aid policies in medical tour field with improvement of medical tour immigration system, one-stop service system for medical tourists, and medical tour labor force promotion system. Nevertheless, there are disputes between foreign patients and medical tour inviting businesses, along with medical accident disputes between foreign patients and medical staff and disputes with those working in the tourism industry. This article reviews the types of disputes occurring around the inviting businesses related to medical tours and tried to review the resolutions. Through this, it was found that medical tour inviting businesses have the responsibility to connect the mediated benefits and risks and also the responsibility to process the tasks. Thus, in case dispute occurs due to passive actions from establishing agency agreement to active mediation results, it is difficult to escape the liabilities. Also, in a medical tour agency contract, the inviting business must be aware that it bears the responsibility to explain and advise the details on benefits and risks to foreign patients. The "Guide to arbitration system for resolution of medical disputes with foreign patients" by Korea Health Industry Development Institute Act presents a method to resolve disputes according to the [laws on medical accident damage relief and medical dispute arbitration] in case a dispute due to medical accidents occurs to foreign patients when the foreign patients prepare diagnosis agreement, Whether such method is sufficient to protect foreign patients, however, is thought to require discussions from more diverse perspectives. In order to vitalize medical tourism, the development of diverse products is also important, but the countermeasures against related disputes should also be prepared. Such is expected to contribute to a greater advancement based on trust of foreign medical tourists alongside excellent medical technologies.

이글에는 의료용 특히 의료계층용에 사용되는 바이오센서의 원리 및 응용예를 간략히 소개하였지만, 바이오센서레 관한 연구는 매우 광범위하게 진행되고 있으며 소형화, 안정성 등의 몇가지 문제점이 해결되면 차세대의 고부가가치 창출산업으로의 기대가 매우 크다. 또한 현재는 생물과 전자공학이 결합한 bioelectronics의 시대에 돌입되었기 때문에 앞으로의 발전은 무한하리라 생각된다.

With the ever-changing medical tourist environment, the study has delved into issues ranging from judged value on medical tourist service quality and its effect on the service level and recurring rate of return visit through the quantitative analysis with the survey for a group of tourists from Japan, China, USA and the interview survey on medical specialist on tourists. Verifying the Hypothesis 1 reveals the assertion that quality of medical service for tourists has effected upon the functional value has proven to be true except the cases on responsiveness and accessibility. And the assumption that the quality of medical service for tourists has effected upon the emotional value has proven to be true except the case on accessibility. The paper has its limitation in that it is confined to medical tourists of small numbers of target countries, relatively short survey period. The study shall be followed by the further analysis on the factors for medical tourists' personal and societal effect

With the international change in the medical device market owing to the development of innovative medical engineering and the use of various raw materials, a systematic and rational medical device classification system is needed to safely manage newly developed medical devices. This study aims to improve the domestic medical device classification system by proposing product establishment and segmentation. It is based on medical device products from the United States and Europe that are only available in foreign systems and are more subdivided than domestic products. This study analyzes and compares the domestic and foreign medical device classification systems by examining laws, guidelines, and analysis reports in Korea, the United States, and Europe. In accordance with product establishment and segmentation criteria, products subject to improvement are presented. This study contributes to safely managing medical devices that do not fit with the current classification system and to solving the confusion caused by the lack of international harmony in product classification systems.

The convergence of traditional industry and ICT is a combination of security threats and vulnerabilities in ICT and specific industry-specific problems of existing industries, and new security threats and vulnerabilities are emerging. In particular, in the medical ICT convergence industry, various problems regarding user authentication are derived from the medical information system, which is being used for abuse and security weaknesses. According, this study designed and implemented a user authentication system for secure user management in medical ICT convergence environment. Specifically, we design and implement measures to solve the abuse and security weaknesses of ID sharing and to solve the inconvenience of individual ID / PW authentication by performing user authentication using personalized devices based on medical information systems.

The Korean medical device industry has increased dramatically due to various investments in the domestic medical device industry and the introduction of new technologies, but the domestic medical device usage rate in great hospital is still low. In this paper, improvement point for domestic medical device was suggested by domestic medical device usage rate and user and manager's perception survey in great hospitals in Korea. To do this, a survey on the types of medical devices and domestic medical device usage rates were conducted at four national university hospitals in Korea. From this results, the priority survey medical devices were selected. Improvements of Korean medical devices were suggested by failure mode analysis and user awareness surveys for the priority survey medical devices.

Bio-fusion and medical device industry is the multidisciplinary engineering application technology industries, which are fused, such as electricity, electronics, machinery, materials. It aims to improve the quality of human life by using bio-fusion and medical devices, and is an important industry recognition and brand power for the product. However, there is a period that is required from the development of products with technology-dependent industries. Ubiquitous health care system, which is one of the developing solution technologies of IT, BT and NT, could give us new medical environments in future. Implementing health information systems can be complex, expensive and frustrating. Healthcare professionals seeking to acquire or upgrade systems do not have a convenient, reliable way of specifying a level of adherence to communication standards sufficient to achieve truly efficient interoperability. Great progress has been made in establishing such standards-DICOM, IHE and HL7, notably, are now highly advanced. IHE has defined a common framework to deliver the basic interoperability needed for local and regional health information networks. It has developed a foundational set of standards-based integration profiles for information exchange with three interrelated efforts. HL7 is one of several ANSI-accredited Standards Developing Organizations operating in the healthcare arena. Most SDOs produce standards (protocols) for a particular healthcare domain such as pharmacy, medical devices, imaging or insurance transactions. HL7's domain is clinical and administrative data. HL7 is an international community of healthcare subject matter experts and information scientists collaborating to create standards for the exchange, management and integration of electronic healthcare information. The ASTM specification for Continuity of Care Record was developed by subcommittee E31.28 on electronic health records, which includes clinicians, provider institutions, administrators, patient advocates, vendors, and health industry. In this paper, there are suggestions that provide a test bed, demonstration and specification of how standards such a IHE, HL7, ASTM can be used to provide an integrated environment.

'Healthcare 3.0' paradigm, which comes from the convergence of medical and department of ICT(Information and Communication Technology), meets the government's 'creative economy'. It has emerged as new higher value-added markets and industries, created jobs, and got the 'land of opportunity'. Despite of the global recession, the health care market in the world from 2009 to now has earned a steady growth. The annual growth rate in domestic industrial scale is expected to more than 10% higher based on 153 trillion won in 2010. In particular, combination of health care and ICT, BT(BioTechnology), NT(NanoTtechnology), which is so called 'super-convergence', leap in the health care industry, is expected to open up a new paradigm. In addition, by 2020 all of the health care industry, the IT convergence industries account for the largest proportion, and more than 50,000 of the employment are to be expected. In this study, we survey and analyze problems of medical and IT convergence technology, the future of the medical and health care industry, the demanded healthcare IT staff, finally suggest education plan of human resources required in convergence industry of medical and IT.

정보통신의 비약적인 발전과 더불어 보건의료에 대한 사회적 인식 변화로 인해 의료 서비스에 대한 개선의 요구가 점차 증대되고 있다. 의료서비스와 정보통신의 결합은 e-Health라는 보건의료분야의 새로운 비즈니스 영역을 탄생시켰다. 늦은 감이 있지만, 국내에서도 e-Health 산업의 성장이 본격화됨에 따라 정책적으로도 이를 적극 육성하려는 움직임을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 영국, 일본, 미국의 e-Health 현황을 살펴보고 국내 e-Health 산업에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
