LHM (Left Handed Material)은 특정 주파수 범위에서 음의 유전율과 투자율을 가지는 물질이며 유효 유전율과 투자율은 분산 특성을 가지고 로렌츠(Lorentz) 물질과 비슷한 형태를 가진다. 본 논문에서는 FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) 법을 바탕으로 한 PLRC (Piecewise Linear Recursive Convolution) 법을 이용하여 LHM 내의 유효 전파특성을 모의한다. 모의실험 결과는 음의 유전율과 투자율을 가지는 주파수 범위를 보여준다.

The complex permittivity and permeability of various periodic metamaterial (MTM) cells are extracted by simulating a fictitious rectangular waveguide consisting of PEC and PMC walls. The shapes of the MTM cells include a thin wire (TW), a single split-ring resonator (SSRR), a double SRR (DSRR), a modified SRR, and a combined structure of the TW and the DSRR. The TW falls on a negative-$\varepsilon$/positive-$\mu$ region, the SRRs on a positive-$\varepsilon$/negative-$\mu$ region, and the combined structure on a negative-$\varepsilon$/negative-$\mu$ region. We also investigate how the permeability and permeability are affected by the dimension parameters of the MTM cells. Another extraction technique utilizing time domain signals is developed overcoming some limitations that the waveguide technique can not handle.

This paper presents a metamaterial absorber unit sell structure with four-element electric-LC resonators (ELC). In order to enhance the operating bandwidth of the proposed absorber unit cell two pairs of ELC resonators with a different size are used. The proposed unit cell shows negative permittivity and permeability when the electric field is parallel to the capacitive gap and the magnetic field is normal to the plane of ELC resonator. The simulated results show peak absorbance over 90% at two frequencies of 8.53 and 9.08 GHz, respectively.

A valuation of the most hotels in Korea have been decided by their asset value and influenced by real estate market. On the other hand, most hotels aim to maximize their through generating profit as other enterprise do it. Therefore a valuation of the hotel industry should be decided from calculating in their profit value. This study is tried to find out the relationships of the company value by free cash flow model between accounting index in hotel industry. The results are as follows. First, there is a 25% gap between high level and low level in hotel industry. Second, in the first rate hotels it is meaningful 99% between asset size and liability rate. Third, there is 99% meaningful relationship asset size of the first level and second level hotels and company values.

1967년 처음 보고된 메타 물질은 이론적 제안에 머물러 있던 그 독특한 특성이 2000년대에 들어서 실험적 검증을 거치면서 물리학과 공학 분야의 새로운 연구 분야로 크게 각광받고 있다. 특히 그 구현 기술의 획기적인 발전으로 음의 굴절률뿐만 아니라 자연계에서 얻을 수 없는 유전율과 투자율 구현이 가능해짐으로써 기존 기술의 단순한 대체 기술이 아닌 새로운 응용 분야를 열 수 있는 기술로 평가 받으며 전례 없는 응용 가능성을 보여주고 있다. 그 중에서도 메타 물질 기반의 전자기파 투명화 기술은 기존 스텔스 기술보다 훨씬 경제적 이라는 큰 장점과 함께 가시광선 대역에 응용되어 투명 망토를 구현할 수 있는 꿈의 기술로 주목받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전자기파가 휘어서 진행함으로써 마치 자유공간과 같은 효과를 나타내는 것을 기본 원리로 하는 좌표계 변환을 이용한 메타 물질 기반 전자기파 투명화 기술의 기본 이론과 현주소, 향후 과제에 대해서 다룬다.

본고를 통해 초고주파 이론과 공학 분야는 물론 물리학, 재료공학의 기초 학문 분야에서도 지대한 관심을 모으고 있는 Metamaterial(MTM) 구조에 대해 조명하고자 한다. 먼저 MTM의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 Left-Handedness(LH) 왼손 전파 법칙과 LH 발생 재질인 Double Negative(DNG) 재질에서의 전파 특성을 상대 유전율과 상대 투자율 평면에서 확인하고, 일반 매질인 Double Positive(DPS)형인 오른손 전파 법칙 Right-Handedness(=RH) 매질과의 결합(Composite Right-and Left-Hnaded=CRLH)에서 얻어지는 특징들을 살펴본다. 특히 DPS와 DNC의 결합에서 얻을 수 있는 음의 공진과 0차 공진(Zero-Order Resonance)을 언급하고 ZOR을 응용한 RF 부품의 소형화와 특성 개선사례를 소개한다. 또한, 안테나와 전자파 산란 특성에 MTM의 특수한 성질을 이용하여, 크기를 줄이거나 표면파를 억제하거나 혹은 방사 개구를 확대 또는 렌즈 특성을 얻어낸 사례도 언급된다 그리고 LH 특성은 아니지만 MTM 계열인 ENG(Epsilon Negative), MNG(Mu Negative), ENZ(Epsilon Near Zero)를 응용한 예들을 보이고, MTM 관점에서 FSS(Frequency Selective Surface )의 특성을 논의하고, 그간에 발표된 대표적 MTM 연구 결과에 대한 소개를 마치고자 한다.

본 연구는 투자자 집단에 따라 그 매매에 있어서 주가와의 관련성을 분석하고자 하였다. 투자자 집단의 매매 성향은 월별 순매매율로 측정하였으며 주가의 대용변수는 한국종합주가지수(KOSPI)의 월별 수익률로서 분석에 사용된 기간은 1992년 1월부터 1999년 12월까지이다. 분석을 위한 방법론으로 상관분석과 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 상관분석은 스피어만 순위상관분석을 이용하여 KOSPI와 각 투자자 집단의 순매매 비중의 상관계수를 도출하였으며 그 결과 KOSPI와 개인투자자의 순매매와는 음의 유의적 상관관계를, KOSPI와 외국인 투자자의 순매매율과는 양(+)의 유의적 상관관계를 알 수 있었다. 그러나 기관투자자의 경우 기관투자자 전체 범주로 볼 때 유의적 상관관계가 없었으나 세분화된 기관투자자 일부는 유의적 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 본 연구는 KOSPI와 각 투자자 집단의 매매에 대한 인과관계를 추론한 바 외국인 투자자의 매매는 KOSPI에 영향을 주며 개인투자자의 매매는 오히려 KOSPI에 영향을 받는 것으로 보였다. 그러나 기관투자자의 경우 세부기관마다 그 매매의 성격을 달리하는 것으로 보였다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 회귀분석을 실시하였으며 그 분석결과 외국인 투자자와 기관투자가 가운데 증권사와 투신사의 경우, 순매수가 늘어날수록 주가는 상승하고 순매도가 늘어날수록 주가는 하락하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 반면 개인투자자의 매매는 KOSPI 주가에 따라 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 주가가 상승할수록 매도에 치중하고 주가가 하락할수록 매수에 치중하는 것으로 분석되었다. 기관투자자 가운데 보험사의 매매 역시 주가에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 성과로는 특정 투자자 집단이 주가의 움직임에 따라 매매를 하는 수동적 전략의 의미보다는 적극적으로 주가를 움직이는 주체로서 외국인투자자와 일부 기관투자자의 존재를 확인할 수 있었다는 점이며, 주가 움직임에 따른 개인투자자와 일부 기관 투자자의 수동적 매매 스타일과 기관투자자 사이의 투자스타일의 이질성을 통계적으로 확인할 수 있었다는 데에 있다.

The objective of this study is three-fold: to investigate the relationship between information technology (IT) investment and inventory turnover, using 98 U.S. firms spanning eleven years (from 1999 to 2009); to analyze the correlation of inventory turnover with firm and industry characteristics, where vertical integration and growth options are chosen to reflect the features of the firm's internal characteristics, and industry dynamism and industry concentration are selected to represent the industry's competitive environment; and to examine time trends in inventory turnover. The significant findings include the following: (i) both IT investment and growth options have a positive impact on inventory turnover; (ii), but vertical integration and industry concentration have a negative impact on inventory turnover; (iii) the impact of industry dynamism on inventory turnover positive; and (iv) the time trends in inventory turnover and 'adjusted inventory turnover' have been increased during the sample period from 1999 to 2009.

In this paper, a composite right-/left-handed(CRLH) rectangular waveguide satisfying a balanced condition above the cut-off frequency is presented. The proposed structure consists of one shorted stub and two twisted H-plane irises which produce an effectively negative permeability and permittivity, respectively. The CRLH structure can independently control the series and shunt resonance frequencies of a CRLH transmission line which determine the left-handed(LH) and right-handed(RH) bands due to a minimized coupling between a shorted stub and twisted H-plane irises. Thus, the design of the CRLH waveguide satisfying a balanced condition is possible. To analyze the CRLH structure, a crossly connected equivalent circuit is derived. The simulated and measured results confirm that the proposed CRLH waveguide has a transmission property without a band gap among the LH and RH bands.
