A six-month-old Boston terrier presented with an extruded penis caudally, incompletely formed preputial sheath, bifid scrotum, retained testicle and deformity of the os penis. On physical examination, the urethral orifice was located on the surface of the perineum and a fibrous band was observed running from the grans to the urethral orifice on the perineum. The dog also had urethritis that was infected by ascending bacteria entering through the contaminated urethral orifice. Corrective surgery was undertaken to excise the external genitalia and retained testicle. The prepuce, penis and retained testicles were successfully excised. After the urethral orifice was cleaned periodically and antibiotics were administrated, recurrent urethritis disappeared. Using this therapeutic regime it is not necessary to reconstruct the anomaly located urethral orifice, if the location of urethral orifice is not the cause of recurrent urethritis and urinary incontinence.

MRI는 주로 부인과 질환의 진단에 이용되어 왔으나 뛰어난 연조직 대조도와 다면 영상 능력으로 남성 골반강의 평가에서도 그 활용이 점차 확대되고 있다. 남성 골반강 MRI는 전립선을 중심으로 발전되어 왔으나 음경과 음낭, 요도 등을 침범한 외상, 종양 등의 질환에 매우 유용하므로 이들 부위에서의 MRI 이용이 더욱 증가할 것으로 보인다. 여기서는 전립선, 음경, 음낭 등의 남성 골반강 장기를 평가하는데 필요한 검사기법, 정상 해부학, 이상 질환의 MRI 소견 등에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

An 10-day-old, male Jindo puppy was presented with anuria. This puppy was diagnosed as agenesis of prepuce and preputial orifice. To treat anuria exploratory operation was performed and the penis was found in situ under the skin. The penis was protruded outside of the skin. Because of strangulation and dryness of the penis by growing up, the artificial prepuce was made by making the subcutaneous tunnel. After that this puppy showed normal urination and had no complication. In case of the agenesis of the prepuce with the penis in situ, artificial prepuce by subcutaneous tunnel would be an alternative choice for saving the puppy.

자본주의가 인류사회의 행복과 공동번영에 기여하는 경제체제로서 역할을 다하려면, 자본주의 역시 시대의 변화에 맞추어 진화해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 새 시대에 걸 맞는 자본주의의 대안을 논의하고자, 저자 이재윤이 창시한 깨달음경영학(MOSEE; Management Of allSelves' Enlightenment and Empowerment)의 새로운 과학적 학문연구를 통해 새로운 실현성 영역을 추구하는 동시에, 깨달음경영의 새로운 5차원 요소인 영적 자원 및 자산(SRA: Spirit Resource and Asset)과 본질적으로 무(無)에서 유(有)를 창조하는 창조경영(MOC: Management Of Creation)에 대한 연구 및 인간의식 성장 방법론에 대하여 발표 하고자 한다. 따라서 깨달음경영학(MOSEE)에 관한 고유한 철학, 고유한 탐구 영역, 이론, 방법, 기법, 도구, 운영 원리 및 활용 분야 등을 체계적으로 설명하는 것이 목적이다. 이로써 현대의 주요한 여러 경영철학들 예컨대 CSV(마이클 포터) SI(개리 함멜) 복잡계 철학 미덕(美德)경영 등의 내재된 구조적 제약들을 분석 평가하고 한계를 극복하는 방안들을 제시함으로써 이들을 5차원의 깨달음경영학(MOSEE)의 의식(영성)경영철학으로써 통섭을 고찰하고 21세기 우주 인류 신문명 창달을 위한 5차원의 깨달음경영 혁명을 성취하고자 한다. 즉 2040년 전에 지구 인류의 고도 영성 초 과학기술 문명을 넘어서 우주 인류의 초 영성 초 과학기술 문명 창달을 선도하는 학문연구 교육 인류 사회활동을 지속적으로 해갈 것이다. 위와 같이 21세기 우주 인류의 영원한 평화 자유 지속적 번영을 이루고자 한다. 본 연구는 통섭 고찰 제1회로 마이클 포토의 공유가치(CSV: Creating Shared Value)의 통섭을 고찰한다.

동양달팽이 (Nesiohelix samarangae)는 동양달팽이속(Nesiohelix)에 속하는 종으로 한국에서 동양？팽이속으로는 유일하게 발견되는 종이다. 본 실험에서는 동양달팽이의 웅성생식기관의 각 부분 즉, 난정소(ovotestis), 양성관(hermaphrodite duct), 수정실(fertilization chamber), 전립선(prostate), 수정관(vas deferens), 상음경(epiphallus), 음경(penis)등의 배열 상태를 관찰하고 이들에 대한 광학현미경적 관찰을 위해 Hematoxylin- Eosin염색과 Mallory 염색을 실시하였다. 난정소(ovotestis)는 많은 수의 선포(acini)로 이루어져 있으며 각 선포는 배상피세포층(germinal epithelial cell layer)과 영양세포(nurse cell), 생식세포(gamete cell)들로 이루어져 있었다. 선포(acini)는 원주상피로 덮여있었다. 양성관(hermaphrodite duct)은 가늘고 긴 관으로 내벽은 섬모입방상피세포와 얇은 결합조직층으로 이루어져 있었으며 내강은 농축된 정자로 가득 차 있었다 . 수정관(fertilization chamber)은 3개의 도관이 결합조직에 의해 둘러싸인 형태로 이루어져 있었다. 도관의 상피세포는 뚜렷한 위중층섬모원주세포로 되어 있었다. 전립선(prostaoe)은 분비기능을 가진 것으로 사료되는 세포들과 실제 분비가 일어나는 실(chamber)로 이루어져 있었으나 다른 염색법 또는 전자현미경적 관찰에 의해 다른 구조들의 존재유무를 확인 해야할 것으로 사료된다. 실(chamber)은 분비포로 보이는 세포들과 접해 있었다. 수정관(vas deferens)은 결합조직으로 이루어진 근육질의 두꺼운 벽을 가지고 있었으며 내강은 돌출부위에 의해 4부분으로 갈라져 있었다. 내강에 연한 상피는 원주세포로 되어 있었다. 상음경(epiphallus)의 벽은 근섬유 다발은 벽의 외곽으로 갈수록 밀도가 높아졌다. 상부에 내강과 연결되는 함입구조(groove)를 가지며, 내강에 연한 상피는 섬모가 없는 원주세포로 이루어져 있었다. 음경(penis)은 근섬유가 산재된 두꺼운 벽을 가졌으며 상음경보다 굵은 원통형이었다. 내강은 많은 돌출부에 의해 복잡하게 나뉘어 있으며 상피세포는 원주 세포로 이루어져 있었고 섬모는 관찰되지 않았다. 내강 내의 분비물과 세포의 형태로 보아 내강상피세포는 분비기능을 가진 것으로 사료된다.

We previously reported that Korean red ginseng (KRG) has a relaxation effect on the smooth muscles of corpus cavernosum via nitric oxide (NO) pathway and calcium and potassium channels. However, it is suggested that the active ingredients of KRG might be different depending on the sources of preparation, and there might be differences in actions for different compositions. We first investigated the composition of KRG saponins according to the extractions of the various sources of KRG, then with these extractions the relaxation effects were evaluated in vitro and hemodynamical in vivo using New Zealand white rabbit and rat corpus cavernosum. The total compositions of ginsenoside $(G-Rb_1,\;-Rb_2,\;-Rc,\;-Rd,\;G-Re,\;-Rf,\;-Rg_1)$ in fractionated KRG saponin designated as TS-1, TS-2, TS-3 were $41\%,\;40\%,\;and\;62\%,$ respectively, and the ratios of PD saponin and PT saponin (PD/PT) were 1,55, 1.72, 2.25, and 2.61, the values of which were statistically significant. In vitro studies using the rabbit corpus cavernosal muscle strips, the KRG saponin relaxed cavernosal strips in a dose-dependent manner, and same results were observed in in vivo studies, that KRG saponin increased the intracavernosal pressure in the rat. There was difference in the efficacy according to fractionation techniques. The differences in the total contents of ginsenosides did not affect relaxation, rather PT saponin content was statistically related to the degree of cavernosal relaxation, and this action presumed to be mediated by NO pathway and calcium and potassium channels. In conclusion, KRG exerts relaxation which is a key step in erection via combination of effects on NO system or calcium and potassium channels. The efficacy of this action is different to the sources of ginseng, which is affected by the different composition of ginsenosides $(G-Rb_1,\;-Rb_2,\;-Rc,\;-Rd,\;G-Re,\;-Rf,\;-Rg_1).$ Thus the further studies on the active ingredients such as minor ginsenosides and non-saponin components of red ginseng with maximum potency should be sought.

This study aimed to compare the differences in sexual function and sexual preference according to demographic characteristics of women, sexual experience, preference penile type, and sexual dysfunction. 72 adult women responded to the survey. 54 respondents were analyzed except respondents who did have incomplete response and no sexual experience. All collected data were analyzed using independent t-test and chi-square test using SPSS 22. In results, Married was significantly higher in intercourse frequency and sexual function than unmarried(p<.05). In economic status, high or middle was significantly higher in the subjective sexual experience and sexual function than the low(p<.05). In subjective sexual experience, high was higher in intercourse frequency than the low, and penile length and type were important(p<.05). preference of glans> penis was significantly higher in subjective sexual experience than preference of glans $${\frac{._-}{.}}$$ penis, and importance of penile girth and size(p<.05). In sexual function, normal function was lower in intercourse frequency than dysfunction, and penile length was not considered significant(p<.05). The results of this study suggest that there may be differences in sexual function and sexual preference according to various causes and can be used as basic data for the development of psychological counseling program for sexual function rehabilitation of women.

The clinical efficacies of Korean Red Ginseng for improving sexual function has been reported only by self-reporting questionnaires.AVS-Penogram is a method evaluating natural penile blood flow changes by Gamma-camera after intravenous injection of Techmetium 99$\^$m/-RBC and also stimulating by erotic video tape. To more objectively evaluate the efficacies of Korean Red Ginseng for erectile function, we applied AVS-Penogram as a objective diagnostic tool. AVS-Penogram studies were done in 28 patients with erectile dysfunction after administration of Red Ginseng(19) or placebo(9) group. The pattern of AVS-Penogram before medication were normal type in 4, impossible in 2, unstable in 20, delayed in 1, and mixed in 1. The unstable type were the most prevalent observed in 71.4% of all patients. The patterns of AVS-penogram were 2.2. 13.1 in Red Ginseng group, while in placebo group normal 2, unstable 7. After 4 weeks in Red Ginseng group, there were 3 cases of improved penogram findings, while only 1 in placebo group. There were no statistical significancies in the type of penogram changes on both group. But the maximum radioactivity were improved in 11 patients(57.9%) in Red Ginseng group, while 2(22.2%) in placebo group. There were statistical significancies in comparing the maximal radioactivity of penogram on both group. These AVS-Penogram findings shows, encouraging results of by increased penile blood flow Korean Red Ginseng our medication. Further study is more needed to reconfirm these results by more concentrated active formulations of sapanonin St other active ginsenosides. These promising results will lead to develop a new remedy for erectile dysfunction by Korean Red Ginseng
