  • 현재 많은 곳에서 생체신호를 이용하여 보다 쾌적한 삶의 환경을 구축하려는 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며 뇌-컴퓨터 인터페이스(Brain-Computer Interface, BCI)기술은 미래 손꼽히는 기술 중 하나로 보고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 웹사이트나 애플리케이션으로 나와 있는 윷놀이 게임을 뇌전도(Electroencephologram, EEG)를 이용한 상호작용을 바탕으로 한 윷놀이 게임의 개발에 대해 기술하고 있다. 이 게임을 통해 마비 환자나 부득이하게 손을 사용하지 못하는 경우에도 게임을 진행할 수 있으며, 뇌신경 운동에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

  • The Korean game of yut is a traditional games that everyone can enjoy regardless of gender or ages. Yut consists of four sticks with a Head and Tail. We are interested in the course probabilities in the game of yut that are different according to the starting order of the four pieces of yut. So we consider the probabilities of five results of yut which we toss according to the probability of Head. We calculate probabilities according to 4 courses where one piece of yut can go through in a yutpan according to the starting order of each piece of yut.

  • 중장년층의 스마트폰 사용 인구가 증가하고 있다. 중장년층 사용자는 피쳐폰과 달리 스마트폰 환경에 어려움을 느낀다. 그러므로 이들에게 친숙하며 대부분 규칙을 알고 있는 한국전통게임 윷놀이를 중장년층의 선호 모바일 플랫폼인 안드로이드에서 구현해본다. 게임 개발 도구는 최근 무료화되었으며 모바일 게임 환경에 최적화된 Unity 5를 기반으로 한다. 본 게임은 중장년층 사용자에게 직관적 UI, 간단한 규칙을 제공하여 이들의 안드로이드 플랫폼과 모바일 게임에 친숙함을 느낄 수 있도록 기여한다.

  • The 2015 revised curriculum offers elementary students an unplugged computing education as a way to learn the concepts and principles of computer science in an easy and fun way and to improve their computational thinking. Yutnori is a traditional board game unique to Korea, which contains various contents such as history, culture, and science of our people, which helps to cultivate cultural identity of learners, and can effectively promote cooperation and communication among members. In this paper, we examined the possibility that Yutnori could be used as an unplugged computing tool in elementary school software education and convergence education. Korean traditional board game Yutnori has elements that can learn the sun and movements of heavenly bodies as well as sequential, selection, and repetitive algorithm elements. Unplugged activities that apply Korean traditional culture Yutnori is expected to help foster creative convergence talents by improving elementary school students' computational thinking, communication and community.

  • In Korea, software education is implemented from elementary school. As a representative software education tool for elementary schools, various chess games reconstructed based on the rules of Western chess games are being used. On the other hand, Yutnori, one of our traditional games, also includes elements of software education, so research on this is needed. Therefore, in this study, a Yutnori program based on computational thinking using an educational programming language, Entry, and a turtle robot was developed and its validity verified. As a result of the validity verification, the CVR value was higher than 0.7 in the degree of agreement with the subject achievement standard (3 questions), the appropriateness of learning materials (4 questions), and the possibility of class application (3 questions). Therefore, it could be judged that the learning program developed in this study has a high level of agreement with the subject achievement standards, appropriate learning materials, and high possibility of being applied to classes. In order to generalize this content in the future, the effectiveness will need to be verified, and experimental research will be needed to understand this.

  • 도로를 꽉 메운 귀성 행렬, 오랜만에 만나 더 반가운 가족 친지들, 떡국과 차례음식, 세뱃돈, 가족 친지들과 함께하는 윷놀이 등등. 이런 익숙한 설날 풍경에 빼놓을 수 없는 것이 바로 화투놀이. 특히 게임방식의 하나지만 일반명사처럼 쓰이는 '고스톱'이다. 상습도박이 아니라면 명절 때 가족들과 즐기는 '고스톱'은 무료한 시간을 달래며 얼마간의 판돈에 걸린 스릴까지 만끽하는 인기 놀이다.

Development of Serious Game based on Traditional Activities Culture (전통 놀이 문화에 기반한 기능성 게임 개발)

  • To minimize a negative cognition of the game, recently the game industry has been researched of serious games such as medical game, tutoring game, advertisement and game training simulation game. The development and method of those serious games is far less formalized than other software development and is still in the beginning stages. We will define three types of advertisement games in the paper and propose a serious game development method which is based on traditional activities culture. Also we will explain element technologies and process for developing a serious game and apply a suggested method to YOOT games which is a typical Korea traditional game among several games.

  • This study was conducted to construct a program combining play and laughing activities with personality education. Self-recorded questionnaire was administered to investigate popularity of play(playing rules area, traditional play area, board game area), the laughing activity, digital games preference among 5th and 6th grade students. Most popular activities was board game area, followed by rule play area, traditional play area, and laughing activity in order. Group play among the rule play area, and Yutnory among traditional play, and digital games among board games were most preferred. This study suggest primitive classification and characterization of play and activities among senior elementary students. Further study for define classification of other eligible play and activities may be encouraged to establis high quality play and activity programs among elementary school students.
