The Effect of Convergence Education based on Reading and Robot SW Education for Improving Computational Thinking (컴퓨팅 사고력 향상을 위한 독서와 로봇SW교육 기반 융합교육의 효과)

  • The 2015 revised curriculum aims to cultivate creative convergence talent. In this regard, SW education needs to study various convergence education methods to enhance computational thinking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of SW convergence education centered on reading education and robot utilization education to improve computing thinking ability. For this purpose, SW education teaching and learning was designed by combining SW education using card coding-based robots with reading education based on interactive works and reading on the whole work. As a result, the convergence education between reading and SW improved all three areas of the concept, practice, and perspective of computational thinking ability and increased the learner's satisfaction.

A Study of Game Project Curriculum for Integrated Subject (통합교과로서의 게임 프로젝트 교육과정 운영방안 탐구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest an curriculum model of teaching scheme which performs team project learning based on Integrated project with different fields. To address this goal, the present study suggests a practical game project model under the same game-making circumstances as game industry by consisting of real case of convergence parts(game graphic, game design, game program). This project-based learning case has been conducting Integrated project education since 2008 in A educational Institute in Korea. The results of study suggest a standard of Integrated-based curriculum model and it is constructed with two parts. The first part is what students learned during project processing, such as responsibility, communication. The other part is how to construct the educational environment for integrated project. It explains how to organize and build teams, plan of integrated project, rule the role of team task, perform collaborative task, present interim/final presentation, evaluate grade. This study is expected to be utilized as a framework for the instructional design and the guideline for improving learner competency in team project learning.

4차산업혁명전문대학원 설립방안 연구

  • 본 연구는 우리나라가 글로벌 시장에서 4차 산업혁명 시대를 주도하는데 필요한 4차 산업혁명 전문가 양성에 초점을 두고, 4차산업혁명전문대학원 설립방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 국내 타특수대학원인 창업대학원과 컨설팅대학원을 비교고찰하였고, 해외 타전문대학원인 일본 회계전문대학원과 일본 법학전문대학원을 비교고찰하였다. 그 결과, 4차 산업혁명 전문가 양성을 위하여 4차산업혁명전문대학원 설립방안을 다음과 같이 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 4차산업혁명전문대학원은 4차 산업혁명 전문가 양성을 위한 차별화되고 융합화된 교과과정으로 2~3년제 전문대학원 석박사과정으로 운영될 필요가 있다. 둘째, 4차산업혁명전문대학원은 전문석(박)사 학위과정이므로 교육의 내실화를 위하여 야간보다는 주간과정으로 운영될 필요가 있으며, 트랙제를 적극 활용하여 경영학, 회계학, 법학, 창업학, 공학 등 학제간 융합적 교과과정으로 설계되어야 한다. 또한 이론교육과 실무교육의 균형적 교과과정으로 실무교육이 전체 교육과정에 30% 이상이 되도록 해야 한다. 셋째, 4차산업혁명전문대학원은 정부(중소벤처기업부)의 전략적인 재정 지원이 필수적이며, 재정 지원과 함께 교육의 질에 대한 평가인증을 지속적으로 받아야 할 것이다. 또한 장기적으로는 중소벤처기업부의 창업대학원 및 컨설팅대학원이 4차산업혁명전문대학원으로 통합될 필요가 있다.

Investigating the Restructuring of Artificial Intelligence Curriculum in Specialized High Schools Following AI Department Reorganization (특성화고 인공지능학과 개편에 따른 인공지능 교육과정 개편 방안 연구)

  • The advancement of artificial intelligence on a global scale is significantly transforming life. In the field of education, there is a strong emphasis on actively utilizing AI and fostering creatively integrated talents with diverse knowledge. In alignment with this trend, there is a paradigm shift in AI education across primary, middle, high school, as well as university and graduate education. Leading AI schools and specialized high schools are dedicated to enhancing students' AI capabilities, while universities integrate AI into software courses or establish new AI departments to nurture talent. In AI-integrated education graduate programs, national efforts are underway to educate instructors from various disciplines on applying AI technology to the curriculum. In this context, specialized high schools are also restructuring their departments to cultivate technological talent in AI, tailored to students' characteristics and career paths. While the current education focuses primarily on the fundamental concepts and technologies of AI, there is a need to address the aspect of developing practical problem-solving skills. Therefore, this research aims to compare and analyze essential educational courses in AI-leading schools, AI-integrated high schools, AI high schools, university AI departments, and AI-integrated education graduate programs. The goal is to propose the necessary educational courses for AI education in specialized high schools, with the expectation that a more advanced curriculum in AI education can be established in specialized high schools through this effort.

  • 2015 개정 교육과정은 바른 인성을 갖춘 창의융합형 인재를 양성하는 데에 교육과정 구성의 중심을 두고, 교육과정 구성에 다양한 학생 참여형 수업을 활성화하여 자기주도적 학습능력을 기르고 학습의 즐거움을 경험하도록 하고 있다. 소프트웨어 교육을 통해 이를 실현할 수 있는 방법은 재미있고 흥미를 끄는 학습내용의 구성과 학습 방법이라 본다. 이에 학습자들의 흥미를 끄는 앱을 제작함에 유대인의 교육방식인 하브루타를 적용하여, 학습자 참여 중심의 자기주도 학습을 설계하고 이를 통해 컴퓨팅 사고력을 신장시키고 바른 인성을 갖춘 창의 융합형 인재를 양성할 수 있는 하나의 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Case Study of Intellectual Property Rights of Pre-service Teachers through Convergence Capstone Design Class (전문대학 예비유아교사 융합형 캡스톤디자인 수업을 통한 지식재산권 연계 사례 연구)

  • The study is to suggest the example of convergence capstone design operation in department of early childhood education at a college and intellectual property rights application and registration. Based on key experiences such as practical training, students derived ideas for solving problems across the field related to young child, and overlaps with existing intellectual property rights ideas were verified. Linkage with industry and engineering experts was established for mentoring, after going through a refinement process, it contains the process by which five teams among the winning works of the school competition achieved the result of patent application and registration. Through this, we revitalize convergence capstone design education that goes beyond a creative and practical competency-centered curriculum and is linked to the performance of securing intellectual property rights.

A Survey on the Management Status and Science Teachers' Perception of Science in High School Based on 2009 Curriculum Revision (2009 개정 고등학교 '과학'의 운영 실태와 교사들의 인식 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the management status of science in senior high schools based on the 2009 Curriculum Revision and the science teachers' perception of the content and a class of science. The way of managing a class was surveyed and discovered that the percentage of more than two teachers giving lessons depending on their major was higher than that of a teacher giving all the lessons. Analysis of teachers' perceptions of the content of science showed that science textbooks reflected the revised science curriculum well. However, teachers thought that the terms and concepts introduced to describe the knowledge of frontier science were so difficult that they feel it's very hard teaching them to the students. Even though science teachers thought that science was mainly focused on cultivating scientific literacy of the students, they assess mostly understanding of science concepts on the students. It means that science teachers stay in line with old position in assessment.

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, complex problems of the advertising and PR industry ecosystem, which have become more complex than in the past, are raised, and the necessity and importance of convergence education is being demanded. In this study, the usefulness and implementation plan of the team teaching method for revitalization of convergence education were studied by conducting in-depth interviews with experts in academia and practice expert. The results of this study summarized that it is appropriate to introduce a team teaching method in which academia and industry jointly participate in the curriculum of the Department of Advertising and PR. It was found to be a meaningful educational method aimed at nurturing students with problem-solving ability. This study proposed a new industry-academic cooperation model as an exploratory study of advertising and PR department and team teaching education.

Reconstruction of Discourse on Curriculum Reconstruction (4차 산업혁명 시대를 대비한 교육과정재구성 담론의 재구성)

  • The purpose of this paper is to reveal the limitation of previous studies on curriculum re-construction and to suggest an alternative for curriculum re-construction. Through the literature review, this paper finds that previous studies quiet over the direction about selecting as well as organizing contents. In order to overcome the weaknesses of previous studies, this paper embraces the interest of learner for establishing the direction of curriculum reconstruction. To be more specific, this study shows that how can the ideas of growth, habit, and interest of John Dewey connect to contents-selecting and organizing in the process of instruction. As a result, this paper helps curriculum discourses to make progress for various direction and helps teachers to reconstruct the contents based on interests of their students.

  • Recently, the awareness of the domestic information security is very higher due to cyber war and hacking incidents. Yet, the information security professional is very scarce situation. In these circumstances are increasing of a opening the information security related departments of the domestic universities. And the Educational institutions are developed various curriculums. However, the domestic information security curriculum is different depending on the university or department. And there tends to be concentrated on the practical education rather than theoretical education. Therefore, in this paper will be analyzed to the Information security curriculum situation of the domestic Information Security related universities. This is expected to be utilized in a systematic curriculum development of the domestic information security education in a future.
