Development of Self-practice Program for Core Nursing Skills for Undergraduate Nursing Students based on Mobile Application (모바일 앱 기반 간호대학생 핵심간호술 자가학습 프로그램 개발)

  • A convergence study was conducted to develop a smartphone application for self-practice of core nursing skills and evaluate its usefulness for undergraduate nursing students. Mobile Application Rating Scale and seven essay questionnaire were used to for usability evaluation among 22 undergraduate nursing students. The score of the information domain was the highest with 4.19(SD 0.79). The subjective quality domain showed the lowest score of 3.08(SD 0.87). Participants' performance confidence score was 8.23(SD 1.60), and learning satisfaction score was 7.89(SD 0.87). Participants reported that the convenience and repetitive self-learning were the strengths of the app. In addition, design and technical supplementation, and lecturer-feedback would improve effectiveness of the current educational app. Findings of this convergent study would be helpful to promote the application of mobile apps for effective self-learning of core nursing skills in undergraduate nursing education. Future resesarch is needed to examine effectiveness study of mobile app on the performance of core nursing skills.

해양안전 정보의 효율적 제공방안

  • 해마다 증가하고 있는 피서철 해수욕장 안전사고 및 비선박 사고의 감소를 위해 본고에서는 연안해역정밀조사 자료를 활용한 해양안전지도의 제작 및 체감형서비스를 구축하여 서비스하는 방안을 마련하였다. 해양안전에 관련한 각종 자료를 수집, 현장조사, GPS측량, 전문가 및 현지주민의 인터뷰 등을 통해 취득하였다. 서비스에 이용될 기본 배경지도로는 5m급 육상 지형기복도와 국립해양조사원의 수심자료를 사용한 해저지형기복도를 융합하여 제작, 이용하였다. 각종 해양안전관련 정보들은 해양영토(구역), 어촌양식, 항로, 각종사고이력, 시설, 위험요소 등 해양안전과 관련한 총 26종의 다양한 분류체계를 구성하여 구축하였다. 이렇게 수집, 구축된 기본 해양공간정보들을 바탕으로 사용자에게 정보의 전달성을 고려하여 국민이 간접적으로 체감할 수 있는 형태의 사이트(해수욕장 등)별 도면 형태의 해양안전지도를 제작하고, 개방형 대국민 해양공간정보 웹서비스인 '개방해(海)', 해양전문 공공기관용 웹서비스인 '공유해(海)' 대국민 해야안전정보 앱서비스 안전해(海)'와 시스템들을 구축하여 서비스 방안을 구축하였다. 각 서비스에는 해양안전사고 예방을 위한 각종 안전 및 위험정보 콘텐츠들을 수록하였고, 목적에 따라 이용가능한 분석 기능들을 제공하였으며, 위험구역에 노출될 경우 사용자간 위험을 알려주는 알림 기능 등을 제공함으로써 위험에 노출되고 조치하는데 도움을 줄 수 있도록 하였다. 그 결과, 현재 각종 기관에서 해양공간정보의 이용을 확대하고자 연계신청 증가와 더불어, 대국민 서비스 이용자수가 증가하는 실적을 기록하였으며, 향후 보다 광범위한 영역에서 안전사고, 안전대응, 안전관리 등의 분야에서 대책 도구로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

An Implementation of Embedded Speaker Identifier for PDA (PDA를 위한 내장형 화자인증기의 구현)

  • 기존의 물리적 인증도구를 이용한 방식이나 패스워드 인증 방식은 분실, 도난, 해킹 등에 취약점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 지문, 서명, 홍채, 음성, 얼굴 등을 이용한 생체 인식기술을 보안 기술로 적용하려는 연구가 진행중이며 일부는 실용화도 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 널리 보급되어 있는 임베디드 시스템중의 하나인 PDA에 음성 기술을 이용한 내장형 화자 인증기를 구현하였다. 화자 인증기는 음성기술에서 널리 사용되고 있는 벡터 양자화 기술과 은닉 마코프 모델 기술을 사용하였으며, PDA의 하드웨어적인 제약 사항을 고려하여 사용되는 벡터 코드북을 두 가지로 다르게 하여 각각 구현하였다. 처음은 코드북을 화자 등록시에 발성음만을 이용하여 생성하고 화자인증 시에 이용하는 방법이며, 다른 하나는 대용량의 음성 데이터베이스를 이용하여 코드북을 사전에 생성하여 이를 화자 인증시에 이용하는 방법이다. 화자인증기의 성능평가는 5명의 화자가 10번씩 5개의 단어에 대하여 실험하여, 각각 화자종속 코득북을 이용한 인증기는 88.8%, 99.5%, 화자독립 코드북을 이용한 인증기는 85.6%, 95.5%의 인증율과 거절율을 보였으며, 93.5%와 90.0%의 평균 확률을 보였다.. 실험을 통하여 화자독립 인증기의 경우가 화자종속 인증기의 경우보다 낮은 인식율을 보였지만, 화자종속 인증기에서 나타나는 코드북 훈련시에 발생하는 메모리 문제를 해결 할 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the assessment method for PO6(teamwork) and PO7(communication skill), one of the most important assessment items in engineering accreditation. In this paper, we used the assessment criteria of Rubric, to empirically measure the teamwork and communication skill. Teamwork and communication skill (PO6, PO7) are the most critical social competences in modern society. Numerous studies on education showed that teamwork and communication skill can be enhanced through learning. We, therefore, need to investigate teamwork and communication skill in terms of education. However, research on the assessment method of the engineering accreditation, based on educational view is scarce. In this study, we suggest the assessment criteria of Rubric for PO6 and PO7 with the perspective of the education. We also tried to apply the developed criteria to the related subjects.

  • As yet the use of 3D projection mapping facade has been limited to advertising and performance in the outside. And interactive elements are lacking. In this paper, propose a interaction system which control of projection mapping facade for multi-audience participation using smart devices. The system can be interaction for the multi-façade. And single or multiple can participate in the game. A user test based on the result confirmed an effectiveness of the proposed method. This research showed a practical method in which interaction of projection facade system can be used to user devices. The results of this study can be used as a base module for projection facade interaction system. In addition, It can be utilized for converged content development such as performances, games, education and various applications services.

A Genetic Algorithm Based Learning Path Optimization for Music Education (유전 알고리즘 기반의 음악 교육 학습 경로 최적화)

  • For customized education, it is essential to search the learning path for the learner. The genetic algorithm makes it possible to find optimal solutions within a practical time when they are difficult to be obtained with deterministic approaches because of the problem's very large search space. In this research, based on genetic algorithm, the learning paths to learn 200 chords in 27 music sheets were optimized to maximize the learning effect by balancing and minimizing learner's burden and learning size for each step in the learning paths. Although the permutation size of the possible learning path for 27 learning contents is more than $10^{28}$, the optimal solution could be obtained within 20 minutes in average by an implemented tool in this research. Experimental results showed that genetic algorithm can be effectively used to design complex learning path for customized education with various purposes. The proposed method is expected to be applied in other educational domains as well.

A Study on the Strength and Stiffness of Multi-Stage Cubic Truss Unit Structures (복합 입체형 정육면체 트러스 단위구조체의 강도 및 강성에 대한 해석 연구)

  • This paper investigated the strength and stiffness of composite truss unit structures. The model used is a core-filled model combining the Kagome model and the cube truss model. The material properties used for the analysis are 304 stainless steel with elastic modulus of 193 GPa and yield stress of 215 MPa. The theoretical equation is derived from the relative elasticity relation of Gibson - Ashby ratio, the analysis was performed using Deform 3D, a commercial tool. In conclusion, the relative elasticity for this unit model correlates with 1.25 times the relative density and constant coefficient, elasticity is inversely proportional to pore size. The relative compressive strength has a correlation with relative density of 1.25 times. Proof of this is a real experiment, the derived theoretical relationship should further consider mechanical behavior such as bending and buckling. In the future, it is hoped that the research on the elasticity and the stress according to the structure of the three-dimensional space will be continued.

  • With the emergence of generative AI, a new era of coexistence with humanity has begun. The vast data-driven learning capabilities of AI are being utilized in various industries to achieve a level of productivity distinct from human learning. However, AI also manifests societal phenomena such as technophobia. This study aims to analyze collaborative AI models based on an understanding of AI and identify areas within the jewelry industry where these models can be applied. The utilization of collaborative AI models can lead to the acceleration of idea development, enhancement of design capabilities, increased productivity, and the internalization of multimodal functions. Ultimately, AI should be used as a collaborative tool from a utilitarian perspective, which requires a proactive, human-centric mindset. This research proposes collaborative AI strategies for the jewelry business, hoping to enhance the industry's competitiveness.

A Study on intent to use AI-enhanced development tools (AI 증강 개발 도구 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study is an empirical study to examine the factors that influence the intention to use artificial intelligence (AI) technology for SW engineering-related tasks, and the purpose of the study is to understand the key factors that influence the use in terms of AI augmentation characteristics and interactive UI/UX characteristics. For this purpose, a survey was conducted among information and communication workers who have experience in using AI-related technologies and the collected data was analyzed. The results of the empirical analysis showed that perceived usefulness was positively influenced by the factors of expertise, interestingness, realism, aesthetics, efficiency, and flexibility, and perceived ease of use was positively influenced by the factors of expertise, interestingness, realism, aesthetics, and flexibility. Variety had no effect on both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Perceived ease of use had a significant effect on perceived immersion, which positively influenced intention to use. These findings are significant in that they provide an academic understanding of the factors that influence the use of AI-enhanced tools in SW engineering-related tasks such as application design, development, testing, and process automation, as well as practical directions for the creators of tools that provide AI-enhanced development services to develop user acquisition strategies.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been inserted into people's lives through Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IVA), like Alexa. Moreover, intelligent systems have expanded to design studios. This research delves into designers' perspectives on developing AI-based practices and examines the challenges of adopting future intelligent design assistants. We surveyed UX/UI professionals in Brazil to understand how they use IVAs and AI design tools. We also explored a scenario featuring the use of Alexa Sensei, a hypothetical voice-controlled AI-based design assistant mixing Alexa and Adobe Sensei characteristics. The findings indicate respondents have had limited opportunities to work with AI, but they expect intelligent systems to improve the efficiency of the design process. Further, majority of the respondents predicted that they would be able to collaborate creatively with AI design systems. Although designers anticipated challenges in natural language interaction, those who already adopted IVAs were less resistant to the idea of working with Alexa Sensei as an AI design assistant.
