  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of attitude to death, spiritual well-being on attitude to euthanasia of university students. The data were collected from 265 subjects using a structured self-report questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS WIN version 23.0. The mean score of attitude to death, spiritual well-being, and attitude to euthanasia were 2.75, 3.69, and 3.15. Attitudes to euthanasia did not correlate with attitudes toward death, and negatively correlated with spiritual well-being. Religious well-being was a influencing factors on attitude to euthanasia and explained 12.7% of attitude to euthanasia. This means that the higher the religious well-being, the lower the attitude to euthanasia of university students. Therefore, religious well-being should be considered in discussing euthanasia of university students.

  • This study was conducted to identify factors influencinging confidence in performing patient safety management (PSM) of nursing students. The subjects of this study were 230 nursing students in four universities in two cities. Data were collected between June 22 and June 26, 2020 using by completing structured self report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0. programs. In correlation analysis, significant positive correlations were found between confidence in performing PSM, PSM knowledge(r=.321, p<.001), PSM attitude(r=.584, p<.001), and clinical decision making ability(𝛽=.460, p<.001). In multiple regression analysis, PSM attitude(𝛽=.35, p=.005) and clinical decision making ability(𝛽=.23, p<.001) were factors predicting confidence in performing PSM, which explained 34.2% of the variance in the model. Therefore, we emphasize that continuing customized convergence educational programs are required to improve nursing student's confidence in performing PSM.

  • The purposes of this study were to develop a scientific inquiry-based STEAM education program and to investigate its effect on changing middle school students' self-efficacy in science, job awareness, and attitudes toward STEM. A scientific inquiry-based STEAM program was developed with the theme of 'earthquakes', using the ADBA model, which was taking up the total of six class periods. The final program, which had been revised and completed after being pre-tested with middle school students, was implemented to 105 third-graders of middle school in a metropolitan city. One sample pre-post paired t-test before and after applying the program to the same group was conducted, and its effectiveness was analyzed in terms of self-efficacy in science, job awareness, attitudes toward science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Results showed that the STEAM program on the theme of 'earthquakes' demonstrated its effect on improving the students' of self-efficacy in science subject and their awareness of science-related jobs. Furthermore, this program indicated a statistical significance in improving middle school students' attitudes, awareness, and abilities, values, and continuing interest towards science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Therefore, we suggest that this scientific inquiry based STEAM program be used to help students to improve their scientific investigation skills as well as their creative and integrated thinking abilities in schools.

The positive effect of the protean career attitude on career satisfaction was significant. The mediating effect of the protean career attitude on the relationship between coaching leadership and career satisfaction was significant. The findings of this study provide an understanding regarding the concept of career development, which has recently changed from an organization-centered to an individual-centered perspective. Also, this study has theoretical and practical implications for the field of human resource development in that it suggests the type of leadership as an antecedent of protean career attitudes.

  • This study empirically verified whether there is a dual mediating effect of individual optimistic bias and information security intention in the relationship between information security attitude and information security behavior of social welfare college students. The subjects were 295 college students majoring in social welfare. Spss Process macro was used for analysis. As a result. first there was a significant positive correlation between the variables. Second in the relationship between information security attitude and information security behavior, individual optimistic bias and information security intent each had a simple mediating effect. Third when an individual's optimistic bias and information security intent were simultaneously input, each had a simple mediating effect. Fourth there was a double mediating effect between individual optimistic bias and information security intent. This study provided basic data for the expansion of information security model and information security education of social welfare students.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an educational program to promote breastfeeding by understanding the knowledge and attitudes of nursing students. The survey was conducted on 504 students in the first, second, third, and fourth grades. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS/WIN 20.0 version. Knowledge of breastfeeding was statistically significant for gender, grade, subject, breastfeeding experience, breastfeeding experience, desired information provider, and educational needs(p<.05). Nursing attitudes were statistically significant according to gender, grade, breastfeeding experience, breastfeeding experience, and educational needs(p<.05). There was a statistically significant correlation between knowledge and attitude of breastfeeding(r=.237, p<.001). On the basis of this, we need a systematic and diverse breast feeding program for nursing students.
