With the result of Korean national senior's real life state survey analysis that is triennially conducted based on Article 5 of Welfare of the Aged Act, this study categorized the senior according to age norm cognition, and figured out the characteristic of each category, and analyzed their needs for life satisfaction and hoping activities. Because the senior at present are on higher level of health, education, and economy than 20 to 30 years ago, it is about time to repeat discussion about the policies established in the past in terms of society, culture, industry, welfare, employment, and participation as a convergence approach. As a result of analysis study, the senior divided into three groups:, resignation type, progressiveness type, and saving appearances type. Their life satisfaction level and hoping activities by senior segment groups are different. By results of this study, the preservation of income for senior will be needed, and they don't want volunteer activities so that there are another policy system will be needed to vitalize senior's social participation for their healthy physical and mental life. Korean senior were satisfied with family members relationship, -although Korean senior's life satisfaction level is not higher so that the new policy to care senior by senior system will be reviewed more actively.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of expected perspective on the role of genre and attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad on the liking of broadcast ad genre as appeal types of creativity. The results show that there is a significant correlation between macro-environmental expected perspective(MEEP) on the role of genre and a negative attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad. A significant correlation between micro-practical expected perspective(MPEP) and a positive attitude was also found. Consumers with an integrated-situational expected perspective(ISEP) show a more significant relationship with the dual attitude. Consumes with a MPEP have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with an ISEP show a median liking. Consumers with positive attitude have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with a dual attitude show a median liking that is between the positive attitude-based consumers' and negative attitude-based consumers'.

The great attention has been shown the importance of human resource management in medical institutions. At this point, studies have stressed employees' psychological factors for maximizing their job performance and minimizing their turnover intention and burnout. This study, therefore, empirically examines the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between emotional labor, burnout, and turnover intention of medical institutions, focusing on nurse practitioners to contribute to hospital management for developing valuable strategies in the human resource sector of medical employees. The empirical results demonstrate: 1) the relationship between emotional labor and burnout of nurse practitioners is mediated by social support; and 2) the relationship between emotional labor and turnover intention of them is mediated by social support. This research results show that more understanding of nurse practitioners' psychological factors in response to decrease their burnout and turnover intention for developing human resource management of nurse organizations. Furthermore, the study could suggest efficient management ways of hospital through interdisciplinary human resource management in terms of business administration and psychology.

This is an exploratory study based on the literature reviews which examined the possibilities and necessities of multimodal writing curriculum for liberal education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing research results which utilized the teaching methods associating music and writing, and to find the educational implications, and finally in terms of writing education, to suggest the possibilities of writing classes' convergent forms with music extracted from the results of the existing studies. Those studies were categorized to four patterns: WAC, effects of therapy, materials for writing, and new literacy. Based on Meyrowitz's perspective, firstly music can be utilized as a circumstance, which means a teacher can indirectly take the emotional, reminding, and healing effects of background musics. Secondly, music can play an important role of materials in thinking and writing, which is the most generally utilized pattern today. The effects are found in all of affective, cognitive, and strategic domains by utilizing music as a sort of reading materials. Thirdly, the convergent writing of music and narrative is suggested. Music is an independent language that can interact with narrative and construct text meanings in this kind of writing classes. These three dimensions of convergence have different perspectives, but sometimes occur at a same time or as a connected pattern. This study proposes that writing teachers need to improve their competence in music as well and to have professional concerns and efforts to develop their convergent writing teaching skills with music for these classes. Finally, this study stresses that team teaching can be an alternative for them.

This article critically examines the backgrounds and meanings of National Competency Standards (NCS) that is employed by Korean colleges for managing performance-based, competency-based curriculum. Findings are as follows: 1) the NCS-based curriculum was primarily adopted to enhance students' business competency for their successes in a competitive job market. 2) NCS is questioned its efficacy to resolve Korean employment issues in a serious economic structure in which a growing number of jobless youth and aged employees and education discrimination are involved. 3) NCS, with its emphasis on the Tyler Rationale and principles of scientific curriculum development, has many criticisms due to its technical approaches to educational processes and needs to be replaced with an alternative paradigm. 4) This article suggests that administrators, policy makers, and educators seek ways to resolve NCS issues considering contextual features of Korean job market and rethinking NCS ideology in the education process. A need for curriculum reconceptualisation is discussed.

Electronic Medical Record(EMR) is medical record that has been saved electronically onto a computer. The standardization activities for EMR is actively underway as it may not only improve the overall quality of the medical services but as the value of medical big data (medical & IT convergence area) is being considered very important. One of the most important issues is ensuring the necessary and effectiveness of EMR standardization to the stakeholder. Researchers did an empirical study to find out how the doctors perceived the EMR standardization from both technical and economical perspective. The results of the empirical analyses showed that system quality and an economical value had a positive effect on perceived usefulness and intention to adopt EMR standardization, yet interoperability have only affected the perceived usefulness. Additionally, the economical value seemed to be the most important variable in forming a consensus in the need of EMR standardization.

With advances in IT Smart-Work is emerging as a new way of conducting business and several companies are considering to introduce the Smart-Work digital convergence technology. In this paper, we examined the effects of the Smart-Work IT resources on the work efficiency and the corporate performances in service industry by applying the Resource-Based View. The results of the structural equation modelling analysis showed that Smart-Work IT infrastructure and individual IT skills had positive influence on individual work efficiency while business application software and IT skills affected team work efficiency. Also, we confirmed that individual and team work efficiency positively affect financial and market performance of business firms. With the findings of the study, we expect that the introduction of Smart-Work would have positive effect, at least in service industry, on work efficiency and corporate performance, which will in turn lead to gaining competitive advantage for those firms adopting Smart-Work.

This study examined the social support of the physically disabled persons(PDP) and stress coping behaviors as the factor determining their Community Participation. It also analyzed the possibility of such social support influencing their community participation using their stress handling ability as a moderator. The analysis first revealed that the social support for PDP is a positive variable influencing their community participation. Second, the social support has a positive effect on their stress coping behaviors. Third, their stress coping behaviors had a positive effect on their community participation. Fourth, the social support, partially serving as a moderator for boosting their stress coping behaviors, had a positive effect on their community participation. Based on these findings of this study, a proposal for PDP's community participation was made.

In the process of complex shopping mall development, all the steps (business planning step, pre-sale & completion step, management & operations step) head towards a consistent ultimate goal in an overall business perspective. In this study, we analyze using a structural equation model if an appropriate relations between each of the steps are formed to achieve the ultimate goal. In this study, we find a positive relationship between business planning step and pre-sale & completion step, and also find that for success pre-sale & completion, a faithful business plan is necessary. But we find no statistically significant relationship under significant level 0.05 among business planning step and management & operations step and the level of success, pre-sale & completion step and management & operations step and the level of success, management & operations step and the level of success. This suggests that each of the steps does not form a close relationship to achieve the consistent goal in the complex shopping mall development and each one is doing a short-sighted work for its own profit.

Louis Sullivan insisted, "Form follows function." Functionality is one of the most fundamental elements for users to use product or space, and "function" in space and architecture has the meaning of the most important factor in determining its form. In this way, from the viewpoint of "Functionalism," the research selected Toyo Ito to see how important elements pursued by Functionalism are related to his forms of creation. Small residential space projects of Toyo Ito from the early 1970s to the present are selected, so that the structure, material and space type of space and architecture can easily grasped and analyzed. Space and architectural structures and surfaces were classified into the characteristics of materials and classified according to the strength of openness of space. As a result, the space and architecture that pursue the function use a method that can maximize the efficiency of the function while excluding the whole decoration in order to highlight the function. The characteristics found in Toyo Ito's small-scale residential space can be defined as the formalization and simplification of the form, the openness of space, and the versatility of each element.
