This research was conducted from the perspective of student management focusing on such central topic as realization of research ethics on the basis of research ethics case study model. In this study, improvement method for research ethics education through means of application of DEVAC System, which is a paper plagiarism detection system, and survey on current status of research ethics in college education and degree of consciousness thereof were explored. Through these investigations, a topic relating to establishment of the foundation in order to foster consciousness of research ethics in the college education was established as the primary purpose of this study. To accomplish the purpose of this study, firstly, actual situation of paper plagiarism committed by the college students and their consciousness were surveyed. Secondly, the research ethics education was examined through means of applying DEVAC paper plagiarism detection system. The results from investigations revealed the followings: First, 424 students (65.43%) who participated in this research and survey on the fact of paper plagiarism had experience of report plagiarism, and the result of investigation showed that 49.3% of students among those who had experience of paper plagiarism committed report plagiarism more than three times in a semester. And, 34.1% of participants showed a positive response to the use of a paper plagiarism detection system in the college, and results from the investigation displayed that the creative education (39.0%) marked the highest scores as in the educational method to reinforce the research ethics. Second, the results from examination of paper plagiarism having applied DEVAC system indicated that use of this system can be an alternative to prevent paper plagiarism from students. It is realized through this study that there is a necessity in various respects to build up the foundation which will enable individual students to improve their consciousness to such a degree so as to make them clearly recognize the fact that plagiarism is criminal act.

This essay aims to explore the importance of ethics education in Korean multicultural society. In 2011, it is reported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology that the final goal of Korean multicultural ethics education is to establish the foundations of National identity and of moral values in general. It might be a ideological tool, however, that can suppress the minority in Korea. In that sense, an orientation of ethics education in Korean multicultural society is basically to consider all moral agents in ethics. To give any solution, therefore, an attention will be paid to the notions of emotion and the likeness of moral fibre. Most important is that we have certain emotions which are in society beyond individual feelings. It is the only ethical subject and existence who we can have them. In that point, having them enables us to make any decision on the ground of moral values. By the quality of the likeness of moral fibre, furthermore, we can recognize and exercise moral values together without any difference in multicultural society. This makes sense of an identity as a Korean. Therefore, having emotions is helpful in taking the moral foundations of Korean multicultural society and the self-recognition of a Korean in the sense of the likeness of moral fibre give an ethical direction to us, the Korean multicultural society of ethical culture in the future.

Philosophical discussion and ethical approach have been crucial aspects in the rational decision-making of heritage conservation. This study analyses why and how they play an important role in determining the quality of conservation practice. It highlights the key concepts of conservation philosophy and ethics, as well as their relationship, in order to establish a constructive platform through which researchers may understand the role and importance of conservation philosophy and ethics. In conclusion, this study provides a set of recommendation for the government, academic experts, and conservators which will allow them to become actively involved in improving the quality of philosophical and ethical knowledge in the field of conservation.

'정보윤리' 또는 '정보통신윤리'를 시급히 확립해야 할 때가 되었다. 새삼스런 얘기같지만 각종 정보통신 신기술의 발전, 확산 속도를 올바른 활용 문화가 뒤따르지 못하고 있다는 지적의 소리가 높다. 정보통신매체의 잘못된 이용, 즉 오용사례는 문제를 제기하는 차원을 넘어서 이미 심각한 지경에까지 이른 경우도 적지않은 실정이기 때문이다. 이러한 정보통신매체 활용의 역기능적 폐해나 문제점은 가정을 비롯하여 학교 그리고 사회 등 모든 영역에서 폭넓게 제기되고 있다.

The purposes of this study were to inquire the status of academic integrity of the student in mentorship program at a science gifted institute attached to university and to seek the teaching plan of academic integrity. We administered questionnaire to 51 students who passed the enterance exam of mentorship program at the science gifted institute in 2013. The questionnaire consisted of three topics, 1) using reference, 2) purchasing, deputizing & plagiarizing of homework, 3) cooperative learning. As results of survey, students have a ethic in the following order: 'purchasing, deputizing & plagiarizing of homework', 'using reference', and 'cooperative learning'. Especially, the lack of conscious about 'cooperative learning' turned out to be a problem, because students have to research by cooperative learning during mentorship program. And there was no significant correlation between each topic. Finally, there was no correlation between ethical knowledge and degree of practicing it.

With the development of artificial intelligence technology, our lives are changing in innovative ways, but at the same time, new ethical issues are emerging. In particular, issues of discrimination due to algorithm and data bias, deep fakes, and personal information leakage issues are judged to be social priorities that must be resolved as artificial intelligence services expand. To this end, this paper examines the concept of artificial intelligence and ethical issues from the perspective of artificial intelligence ethics, and includes each country's ethical guidelines, laws, artificial intelligence impact assessment system, artificial intelligence certification system, and the current status of technologies related to artificial intelligence algorithm transparency to prevent this. We would like to examine and suggest institutional improvement measures to strengthen artificial intelligence ethics.

전문직의 특징을 우리는 두가지로 말할 수 있다. 첫째 전문직이 수행하는 일의 성격이 관례적이며 일상적인 것이 아니고 지적인 판단력을 요하는 것이라는 점이다. 둘째 전문지그이 일은 그 목적이 개인의 금전적 이익에 있지 아니 하고 대사회봉사에 있다는 점이다. 바로 이 점이 전문직단체에서 윤리강령을 표방하게 되는 소이이다. 그래서 어떤 이들은 전문직의 특징을 말할 때 첫째 일의 성격이 지적이란 것과 둘째 직업윤리강령을 갖고 있다는 것을 들기도 한다. 지금 우리나라에서는 사서직이 전문직으로서 그 기반을 굳히려고 안간힘을 쓰는 중에 있다. 여러 가지 방면의 노력이 요구되겠지만, 외국의 선예에 따라 한국사서직의 윤리강령을 제정하는 일이 우리 앞에 놓인 한가지 중대한 과제가 아닐 수 없다. 우리가 이 작업을 시작할 때 참고가 될까싶어 미국의 사서직윤리강령을 번역ㆍ소개하는 바이다. 여기에 싣는 전문을 포함하여 28조목에 걸친 내용은 1938년 ALA에 의하여 채택된 이래 지금까지 통용되고 있는 것으로서 현재 미국에서는 본강령에 대한 개정안이 제시되어 관계인들에 의하여 검사중에 있음을 부기하여 둔다.

This paper investigates conditions, issues, and themes in the social responsibility of scientists and engineers by the examination of various materials in science and technology studies(STS). Firstly, the institutionalization of science and technology in society works as a objective conditions for the responsibility of scientists and engineers. Secondly, discussion on scientists and engineers as professionals should be complemented by focusing on the public character of science and technology. Thirdly, various social relevant groups should be comprehensively considered in the ethical conflicts of scientists and engineers. Finally, this paper suggests some themes in science and engineering ethics to strengthen the social responsibility of scientists and engineers.
