An Exploratory Study on the Influence of Curiosity on Entrepreneurship: The Mediating Effect of Stress Tolerance (호기심이 기업가정신에 미치는 영향에 관한 탐색적 연구: 스트레스 내성의 매개효과)

  • Entrepreneurship is essential in education or courses related to startup. Despite the importance of entrepreneurship, studies on the preceding factors that influence entrepreneurship are insufficient. This study analyzed the relationship between the founder's curiosity and entrepreneurship. In the relationship between curiosity and entrepreneurship, a research model and hypothesis using stress tolerance as a mediation variable was presented and empirically analyzed. As a result of collecting and analyzing data from prospective entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs, it was found that playful inquiry, social curiosity, and pursuit of stimulus had a statistically significant effect on innovation and competition pursuit through stress tolerance. This study is significant in that it analyzed curiosity in multiple dimensions. However, there is a limitation in that the survey is limited to Daegu and Gyeongbuk and the results cannot be generalized.

  • 인문학은 인간에 대한 깊은 성찰과 세계에 대한 폭넓은 조망에서 잉태한다. 이런 인문학 교육은 인문대학만이 아니라 전반적인 의료교육 현장에 접목되어야 한다. 따라서 인문학 역시 현실을 도외시한 언어유희가 아니라 현실속의 사회 문화적 통로를 접근하는 방식으로 도입되어야 한다. 인문학적 성찰은 전문가만의 소유물이 아니다. 특히 의료인문학적 성찰은 죽은 몸이 아니라 살아 있는 몸을 다루는 임상행위의 전제이다. 이렇게 살아 있는 생명의 몸을 다루는 의학 부문에서 과학적 설명의 적용범위와 그 실현가능성은 아직 충족되고 있지 않다. 이는 과학탐구 대상으로서의 톰과 증상과 치료의 대상으로서의 구체적인 의학적 몸 사이의 간극이 있음을 무시할 수 없다는 점이다. 인문학적으로는 설명 장르의 몸에서 제외된 이해 장르의 몸이 다시 조명되어야 한다. 정확히 말하면 설명 장르와 이해 장르가 통합되어야 한다는 뜻이기도 하다. 이러한 인문학적 반성이란 추상적 이론으로 그쳐서는 안 되며, 의학과 의료 현실에 어떻게 실천적으로 적용가능한지를 질문하는 일이다. 이 논문에서는 그 적용사례로서 증거중심의학(EBM)과 문제기반학습(PBL)를 다루었다.

The Effect of Entrepreneur's Curiosity on Challenge, Innovation and Competition (창업가의 호기심이 도전성, 혁신성 및 경쟁추구성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of curiosity, the personal characteristics of start-up founders, on entrepreneurship. Among the various factors that make up the entrepreneurship, this study identified the relationship between the practical factors (challenge, innovativeness, competition) and the founder's curiosity. Based on previous studies, curiosity was divided into four individual factors: deficiency, playfulness, social curiosity, and stimulus pursuit. For each individual factor, we analyzed meaningful relationship with entrepreneurship. In addition, the founders were classified into those who simply think of starting a business, those preparing to start a business, and those who started the business. Each group was analyzed their degree of curiosity. The data were analyzed based on the final 248 data for entrepreneurs who are preparing or starting their own business in Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. Analysis shows that curiosity is higher in those who prepare or start a business than those who think about it. Curiosity has been found to have a positive effect on both the challenge, the innovation, and the composition of the competition. In addition, in entrepreneurship, the challenge was found to have a positive effect on innovation, but it did not affect competition composition. The characteristics of individual factors of curiosity were also different, and there was a significant effect of deficiency and playfulness on challenge, social curiosity and stimulus pursuit on innovation, and stimulus pursuit on competition. These findings are significant in identifying and analyzing curiosity as a factor influencing entrepreneurship. The results of the analysis can help theoretical expansion of entrepreneurship. In addition, it can provide important implications for the direction of entrepreneurship education and program development among volunteer activities for prospective entrepreneurs.

  • In animation, 'laughter' is an important factor for the fun. Dreamworks' animation is a successful popular animation. It has four series and spin-off animations, and settled as a successful case that created fun with strategic use of parody throughout the productions. Most preceding studies on this animation have focused on its humor, parody, and satire. However, not many studies have discussed its independent comedy as a piece of animation that satisfies the needs of public. This study considered that viewers' desire to watch an animation comes from their fantasies to discuss the comedy of based on its animated characters. Animated characters communicate with the public with wits that ignore the rules of reality. The characters that do not exist in reality are created and animated to turn the world of reality upside down. The comedy in comes from the entertaining deformation of the society's fixed ideas and prejudices. It is a fun variation of the ideology behind fairy tales created by the Disney animations to challenge Disney in the animation market in reality, and twisted the world of fairy tales in the story to quench the thirst of the public. 'Shrek', a monstrous character, stands in the center of the story. A monstrous character that always played an anti-role has become the main character to break the rule of fairy tales. This is the subjectivation of anti-character. Second, it is a new anti-character with an exaggerated and distorted body. Lord Farquad, who looks abject compared to the monstrous character for a person with so much power and ambition, brings laughter. Third, it is the variation of various characters from fairy tales. The conventional fairy tale characters, both animals and non-living things, come out of the box and appear as humorous characters that bring life to the story. uses comedy characters in the process of reinterpreting the fixed ideas, prejudices, and ideologies of the real world created by fairy tales. I hope that it helps Korean animations establish a successful format for creating characters that bring life to the stories.

Users' Perception based on Input Control Method of Hedonic Intelligent Products - Focused on an Intelligent Pinwheel - (쾌락적 지능형제품의 입력 제어 방식에 따른 사용자 인식 - 지능형 바람개비 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • The intelligent product is a product in which interactive technologies are applied to an existing common product, called a mother product. This study focuses on interaction design of a hedonic intelligent product and investigates an efficient method of input control of hedonic intelligent products. The hedonic intelligent product is a product in which the hedonic attributes such as play and pleasure are added to the mother product. Utilitarian intelligent products enhance practical functions of mother products. The utilitarian intelligent product finds user behavior in the mother product to improve functional elements for a user experience design. On the other hand, hedonic intelligent products find various emotional values that impart hedonistic attributes and apply them to design. The input method studied through the case study is classified into the imitation input method and the transformation input method derived from the mother product. Based on this, two independent variables of intelligent pinwheels were designed, and its usability evaluation was conducted under the same output condition to investigate a more effective input method. As a result, the transformation input method was rated higher in originality than the imitation input method. This result implies that users had new experiences from the transformation input method, which leads to a higher intention of paying for new experiences.

Interpretation of Cultural Landscape Elements at the Management of Udam Chae Deug-gi's Gyeongcheondae(擎天臺) (우담 채득기의 경천대 경영에 나타난 문화경관 요소의 해석)

  • This research was made on the interpretation of cultural landscape elements which is shown at nature management around Gyeongcheondae managed by Udam Chae Deug-gi, scholar in Joseon dynasty. Naming the nature management and natural features not only reflected on the formation toward the view of nature by the contemporary intellectuals, but influenced on the fashion of garden culture. Udam Chae Deug-gi dwelt in the riverside of Sangju, Kyungbuk as the characteristics of hermitage and managed landscape and had a willing to live a life free from worldly cares. The Gyeongchundae 28 landscapes, which was managed by himself, represent that natural features are named on the basis of neo-confucian principle and loyalty and he imposed symbolic meaning on landscape management by practically translating his aesthetic consciousness to reality; the name of detailed landscape is largely 'loyalty to Ming dynasty and to king's order and loyalty', 'Taoism' and 'Management will of landscape' by the life of metaphor and enjoyment, and symbolizes 'Searching for learning'. In addition, by selecting 10 out of 28 landscapes around Gyeongcheondae, lyrically describing the landscape by representing the change of time, season and the climate which is the scenic term of Great 8 Sosang views in fashion at that time focusing on the place he strolled or enjoyed watching himself; it can be seen that such moves are related with the landscape management in fashion in order to understand microcosmic providence with the change of natural environment. Therefore, Udam Chaedeug-gi is regarded as the neo-confucian view of nature for which any value scholars in Joseon dynasty have to own - 'loyalty' and 'integrity' - he usually emphasized himself to name the natural features and overcome the darkness of society comparing the landscape management around Gyeongchundae he lived a life free from worldly cares to the situation of Joseon dynasty when a transition times between Ming and Chung comes from China.
