Efficient CAVLC Decoder VLSI Design for HD Images (HD급 영상을 효율적으로 복호하기 위한 CAVLC 복호화기 VLSI 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient hardware architecture for H.264/AVC CAVLC (Context-based Adaptive Variable Length Coding) decoding which used for baseline profile and extended profile. Previous CAVLC architectures are consisted of five step block and each block gets effective bits from Controller block and Accumulator. If large number of non-zero coefficients exist, process for getting effective bits has to iterates many times. In order to reduce this unnecessary process, we propose two techniques, which combine five steps into four steps and reduce process to get efficiency bit by skipping addition step. By adopting these two techniques, the required processing time was reduced about 26% compared with previous architectures. It was designed in a hardware description language and total logic gate count was 16.83k using 0.18um standard cell library.

  • Virtual training is widely used based on safety and cost efficiency as a way to efficiently train based on virtual reality. In this paper, we propose the implementation and validation evaluation of life safety training, life training in closed area training, initial fire extinguishing training as a virtual training in maritime safety training. Specifically, we discuss how to implement virtual training to meet the goals of each training, and we propose training methods for evaluating trainees' effectiveness when implemented in this manner. The proposed evaluation method can be used as a quantitative evaluation index of the trainee's training assessment of the training and the safety contribution of the training to the evaluation of the training efficienc

  • 본 논문에서는 군집화의 가장 중요한 2가지 문제에 대한 새로운 해결책을 제시한다. 첫 번째 문제는 두 객체가 하나의 군집내에 포함될 수 있는지를 결정하는 유사 결정으로써, 이를 해결하기 위해 군집 유효화 지수에 기반한 유사 결정 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 정성적인 인지 과정을 정량적인 비교 결정 과정으로 바꾼다 이 기법은 본 논문에서 제안한 랜덤 군집화와 전체 군집화의 두 부분으로 구성된 유효성 기반 군집화 알고리즘의 핵심을 이루며. 기존의 않은 군집화 알고리즘에서 요구되는 복잡한 파라미터를 결정할 필요가 없어지도록 한다. 두 번째 문제는 최적 군집 수 (optimal number of clusters)를 찾는 것으로써, 이것 또한 앞에서 제안한 기법에 의해서 전체 군집화에서 찾을 수 있다. 마지막으로 제안한 기법과 군집화 알고리즘의 효용성 및 효율성을 보여주는 실험 결과가 제시된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 가중치가 부여된 나이브 베이지안 분류자와 스팸 메일의 특성을 이용한 주소 유효성 검사를 결합하여 필터링하는 방식의 스팸 메일 필터링 시스템을 제안하였다. 주소 유효성 검사를 통해 스팸 메일을 효율적으로 필터링 할 수 있으며, 나이브 베이지안 분류자에 가중치를 부여함으로써 더욱 효과적인 분류를 할 수 있다. 또한, 각 요인의 중요도에 따라 다른 비중을 부여함으로써 메일의 특성을 고려한 필터링 환경을 구현하였다. 실험에서는 제안하는 요인들이 실제로 필터링 성능 향상에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 최적의 시스템 성능을 측정하였다.

  • 이동 객체는 시간마다 위치 좌표를 변경하면서 자신의 위치를 기준으로 질의를 요청한다. 최근에 이동 객체에 대한 스카이라인 질의를 처리하기 위하여 이동 객체와 대상 객체사이의 거리인 동적 속성과 대상 객체의 정적 속성 관계를 이용한 최적화된 스카이라인 영역 결정 기법이 연구되고 있다. 그러나 영역 내의 이동 객체의 위치가 가변적 이여서 유효 영역을 효율적으로 결정하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 스카이라인 영역을 형성하는 다각형의 최대 내부 원을 이용하여 정적 유효 영역을 결정함으로서 서버에 보낼 연속적인 스카이라인 질의 발생 빈도를 감소시키는 기법을 제안한다.

  • This study aims to increase effectiveness of human resources management of food service industry by identifying relationships if influence among leadership of manager supervisor, employee' empowerment and organizational effectiveness in food service industry. To achieve the purpose of this study, documentary study and empirical study using a structural equation model analysis was conducted. Based upon the relationships among leadership, empowerment and organizational effectiveness in food service industry, comprehensive methods for human resources management can be presented.

  • Prestressed composite girders provide efficient composite action by applying prestress to the sub-encasing concrete. In this study, an enhanced prestressed composite girder with forms suspended from the steel girder is utilized. Long-term behavior of the prestressed composite girder is estimated using age-adjusted effective modulus method, which is verified experimentally using measurements obtained from an in-service bridge. Then, parametric study is carried out to investigate the influences caused by ambient temperature, humidity, prestressing and concrete casting date.

Calculation of the Effective Wake in a Radially Sheared Inflow (유효반류 계산에 관한 연구)

  • A theorectical method is presented for the calculation of the effective wake in an axisymmetric sheared inflow. The effective wake is essential in the design of optimal propulsor and in the reduction of propulsor induced vibration and noise. The nominal wakes are mathematically modelled and the effective wakes are calculated using the computer program developed on the basis of the linear momentum theory. The results show that shear effects arc dominant near the hub and the effective wakes reveal some differences near the hub for the moderately and heavily loaded propulsors but they arc well coincided with the other experimental or theorectical results for the lightly loaded propulsors. To improve the results it may be necessary to consider nonlinear terms neglected in this study and body boundary condition on hub.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient forecasting methodology of the mid and long-term frequency demand in Korea. The methodology consists of the following three steps: classification of basic service group, calculation of effective traffic, and frequency forecasting. Based on the previous studies, we classify the services into wide area mobile, short range radio, fixed wireless access and digital video broadcasting in the step of the classification of basic service group. For the calculation of effective traffic, we use the measures of erlang and bps. The step of the calculation of effective traffic classifies the user and basic application, and evaluates the effective traffic. Finally, in the step of frequency forecasting, different methodology will be proposed for each service group.

A Study on effects of emotional labor and emotional intelligence of dental hygienist on organizational effectiveness (치과위생사의 감정노동과 감성지능이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study was undertaken to analyze factors influencing the emotional labor and emotional intelligence of a dental hygienist on organizational effectiveness. The study was conducted between September 4, 2018 to December 7, 2018, enrolling a total of 233 dental hygienists living in the Jeollabuk-do province. The data were analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression, using SPSS 18.0. The regression model obtained was F=138.917, P<0.05, with an explanatory percentage of 58.2. Emotional labor (${\beta}=0.608$) was determined to be the most influential variable among independent variables, and other factors affecting the organizational effectiveness of a dental hygienist include the highest level of education, career, and emotional intelligence. We conclude that in order to improve organizational effectiveness among dental hygienists, it is necessary to establish an effective plan for reducing emotional labor and promote emotional intelligence.
