A Study on Subjective Recognition of Food-truck Customers Using Q Methodology (Q방법론을 활용한 푸드 트럭 이용고객의 주관적 인식 연구)

  • This study applied Q methodology to consumers who have experience using food trucks to understand subjective perception of food truck customers. The purpose of this study is to characterize the perceptual structure of food truck customers, to describe characteristics of the types and to suggest some implications. The results of the type analysis are as follows. The first type (N = 10): Food truck zone accessibility preferred type, the second type (N = 8): Complex entertainment experience type, the third type (N = 9) = 3): Fast food preference type. Future research on food trucks, restaurants, and tourism will be based on a variety of literature and empirical studies, and will be revised and supplemented with more detailed Q methodological questions and analytical techniques to analyze the various opinions of respondents in a more concrete and objective manner.

  • The purposes of this study were to develop Korean version of the Kolb learning Style Inventory (version 3.1) by systematic translation process and to test learning style of 596 K University-students. First, Korean version of LSI was successfully developed and tested for ensuring internal consistency reliability and internal validity. Second, K University students' average scores of learning modes were as follows: 27.75 of Concrete Experience(CE), 27.93 of Reflective Observation(RO), Abstract 31,95 of Conceptualization (AC), and 32.37 of Active Experimentation(AE). In addition, the study reported KUT students learning style distribution: 32% of accommodating style, 27.2% of Diverging one, 26.5% of Assimilating one, and 14.3% of Converging one.

  • Although the study of IT services has increased in recent years, few study have focused on trust based recovery process. Additionally, users of IT services have different use purpose depending on service type. Therefore, the purposes of this research is to propose trust recovery model of smartphone applications and to examine the moderating effect of service type on the use of smartphone applications. To achieve research purposes, we suggested service failure type using the scenario technique and empirically verified by conducting survey. The results showed that the procedural justice and interpersonal justice have influence on trust and trust had an effect on the all quality factors (system, information, service quality). Also, information quality and service quality had an effect on the customer loyalty. Finally, service type had significant moderating effects on the relationship between perceived justice and quality.

성격유형이 정보원선택에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 금융상품정보를 중심으로 -

  • 금융기관들은 개인들의 다양한 욕구를 충족시키기 위해서 경쟁적으로 수많은 금융상품을 개발하여 판매하기 시작하였으며, 이러한 상품들은 나름대로 독특한 특성을 지니게 되어, 개인들은 이에 대한 수많은 정보를 수집하고 분석할 필요성을 가지게 되었다. 금융상품정보의 정보원 선택 선호요인으로는 정보원 자체의 특정 이외에도 개인이 가지는 성격적 특징과 환경적 요인들을 들 수 있다. 따라서 개인의 성격유형에 따라 선호하는 정보원의 유사점과 차이점을 알아보았다. 본 연구에서는 금융상품정보를 취득하는 정보원에 대한 선호요인인 개인의 성격유형을 파악하기 위하여 MBTI(Myers Briggs Type Indicator)를 근거로 작성된 성격특성평정척도(Personality Trait Ration Scales: PTRS)를 이용하여 파악된 성격유형들이 금융상품 정보원 선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 성격유형변수를 4개의 군집으로 집단화하고 성격요인과 차이분석을 실시한 결과 감정 직관적인 성격이 강한 주관적 감정형, 외향 직관적인 성격이 강한 사교적활동형, 내향 사고적인 성격이 강한 수동적개인형, 인식 판단적인 성격이 강한 합리적이성형의 4개 군집으로 나누어졌다. 8개의 성격요인 중 감각을 제외한 7개 성격요인 모두가 p<. 05에서 4개의 성격유형군집과 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사교적활동형은 여러 정보원 중 'TV'를, 합리적이성형은 '잡지', '금융상품팜플렛', '재테크서적'을, 주관적감정형은 '은행창구직원', '친구나친지'를 선호하였다. 그러나 수동적개인형은 어떠한 금융상품정보원도 선호하지 않았다. 특히, 합리적이성형은 전문금융정보를 원하는 것으로 나타났고, 주관적감정형은 인간적인 면을 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구가 가지는 의의는 각 성격유형별로 선호하는 금융상품정보원의 차이를 분석함으로써 개인의 정보욕구를 보다 더 만족시킬 수 있는 하나의 요인으로 성격요인과 정보원의 차이에 관한 정보를 제공하며, 금융정보를 제공하는 주체들에게 각 정보원에 적합하도록 정보의 성격에 관한 특성요인과 고객선호정보원을 살펴볼 수 있는 정보취득방안에 대한 연구의 필요성을 제시하는데 있다.

Flood Damage of North Korea and Prevention Masure (북한의 홍수 피해 현황 및 대응방안)

  • 본 연구에서는 1980년부터 2008년까지의 재해역학조사센터(http://www.emdat.be/)의 자료를 활용하여, 북한지역의 홍수로 인한 피해를 조사하였다. 북한의 홍수 발생 기간 중 약 70%가 주로 7월과 8월에 발생하였으며, 홍수로 인한 총 재산피해는 약 180억 달러에 달한다. 이중 1995년의 홍수는 약 150억 달러로 세계 50대 자연재해로 기록되었다. 또한, 2007년의 홍수는 북한의 자연재해 중 가장 많은 인명피해로 당시 사망자는 600명 이상이 기록되었다. 북한의 홍수 유형별 피해 규모를 분석하기 위하여 홍수 유형을 불특정 홍수, 돌발 홍수, 일반 홍수로 분류하여 분석하였다. 또한, 남북한의 차이를 분석하기 위하여 남한의 홍수 사례를 같은 유형으로 분류하여 함께 비교하였다. 유형별 빈도는 남한의 경우 3가지 유형이 비슷한 빈도로 발생된 반면, 북한의 경우 일반홍수의 빈도가 다른 홍수의 빈도 보다 조금 많이 발생하였다. 유형별 인명피해 부분에서는 남한은 전체 유형에서 돌발홍수가 52%로 가장 많은 부분을 차지했으며, 북한의 경우는 일반홍수가 42%로 가장 많이 차지하였다. 결론적으로 남한은 일반홍수와 돌발홍수의 빈도는 같았으나, 돌발홍수가 인명피해 면에서 2.3배 많이 발생하였으며, 북한의 경우 불특정 홍수와 돌발홍수의 발생 빈도는 같았으나, 돌발홍수로 인한 인명피해가 1.5배 많이 발생하였다. 경제적 피해 부분에서는 남한의 경우 돌발홍수가 약 19억 달러로 가장 많은 피해액을 발생시켰으며, 북한의 경우 일반홍수가 약 153억 달러로 가장 많은 피해액을 발생시켰다. 이는 남한의 약 7배에 해당하는 금액이다. 남북한이 경제적 피해 부분에서 큰 차이를 보이는 것은 1995년의 대홍수의 피해액이 약150억 달러로 기록되었기 때문으로 사료된다. 향후 기후변화로 인하여, 자연재해는 더욱 증가할 것으로 생각된다. 남한의 연구뿐만 아니라 한반도 전체에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 현재, 북한의 경우 기상 현상, 재해정보 등의 연구 자료는 남한 지역의 연구에 비해 상대적으로 많이 부족하며, 매우 제한적이고 단편적인 자료들만 존재하고 있다. 따라서 이에 관한 많은 연구들이 필요한 실정이다. 현재 작성되어 있는 북한의 재해 취약성 지도를 좀 더 연구하여, 한반도 전체의 재해 취약성 지도의 작성이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 또한, 한반도 지역에서 발생하는 위험기상에 따른 사회경제적 피해를 줄이고 능동적으로 대처하기 위해 남북간 기상협력이 활성화 될 필요가 있을 것으로 생각된다.

Assessment and Understanding of Chronotype (일주기 유형의 평가와 이해)

  • Chronotype (CT) is defined as an inter-individual difference in sleep-wake cycles and daily activities. Previous studies have suggested that this individual difference can influence our biological and psychological functioning. Literature regarding the psychometric properties and validity of CT measures are reviewed. We provide an overview of biological indicators (sleep-wake cycle, body temperature, cortisol, and melatonin) that are used for distinguishing two chronotypes: morningness (MT) and eveningness (ET). We also review the differences between CT in relation to personality traits and the occurrence of psychopathology. In addition, the methodological limitations of studies on CT are discussed. Finally, future research directions in terms of CT are proposed.

  • This study applied the Q methodology to the graduate students of the department of food service management in Seoul to grasp the subjective perception of customers using the big blur phenomenon and the introduction of the kiosk. As a result of the analysis, five types were derived. (N = 6): Fast payment and various order preference types, the second type (N = 6): Earning and discount benefits preference type, the third type (N = 3): Simple order preference type, The fourth type (N = 2): Employee service preference type, and the fifth type (N = 3): Safety payment preference type. In the future, the research on the Big Blur phenomenon of eating out company will be refined through more detailed Q methodological questions with analytical techniques based on extensive literature and empirical studies, and to analyze the various opinions of respondents more concretely and objectively.

The Relationship between Value Types and Life Satisfaction: Mediation Effect of Positive Affectivity (가치 유형과 삶의 만족 사이의 관계: 긍정 정서의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between value types and life satisfaction of Korean university students. 275 students' scores for value types, positive·negative affectivity, and subjective well-being were obtained using questionnaires. Data was analysed by correlation analysis and path analysis. The results can be summarized as followings. First, the correlation between all negative affectivity and all value was not significant. Second, conformity, benevolence, self-direction·stimulation, hedonism, achievement and security value types were positively correlated with positive affectivity, whereas, conformity, benevolence, universalism and security value types were positively correlated with life satisfaction. Third, the student's higher scores of conformity, benevolence and hedonism value types induced higher level of positive affectivity, which, in turn, increased life satisfaction. The results suggested that value types can indirectly influence life satisfaction through positive affectivity.

A Study on the Subjectivity about Nursing Student's Attitude after Hand Washing Education (간호학과 학생들의 손씻기 교육 후 태도 유형에 관한 주관성 연구)

  • This study, after education for nursing students through texts on hand washing, PPT materials and practices, will investigated the types of the subjects' attitude toward hand washing and attempt to provide basic data needed for nursing education and nursing practice program. As the methods of this research, Q methodology was applied, and 20 sophomores in the Department of Nursing Science as P-sample from October 8, 2012 to October 15, 2012 were asked to distribute Q-sample of 9-point Q-sample distribution, and the collected data were processed with principal factor analysis method by the PC QUANL program. As a result of the research, their attitude toward hand washing was classified into 3 types. The three factors extracted all had eigenvalues greater than 1.0 and explained approximately 56.67% of the variation in responses 40.41%, 10.14% and 6.11% respectively. Type 1 was the ones with the increased number of hand washing; Type 2 was the ones who recognize the need of hand washing education; and Type 3 was the ones who dry hands after washing. In conclusion, the significance of the classification of the types of the attitude after the hand washing education is that with the development of programmes of nursing education and nursing practice, individualized intervention strategies should be differently provided.

A Subjectivity Study of Culinary Arts Major Students in Problem Based Learning(PBL) Program for Culinary Competition (조리전공 대학생의 요리경연대회 참가를 위한 문제중심학습(PBL) 적용사례연구)

  • This study provided the analysis of the culinary arts students' subjectivity in problem based learning(PBL) program for culinary competition. Q methodology was employed for finding common characteristic of among students' opinion and also future suggestion was generated. The study found four different types of common structures. First one is Problem-Solving Ability Type(N=6), the second one is Team Member Collaboration Important Type(N=8), The third one is Self-Directed Learning Needed Type(N=3), and the last one is Employment Preparation Type(N=2). Through the analysis, students aware this particular PBL program as a problem solving skill development, understanding of coworking in group, importance of self directed learning, and preparation for securing job opportunity. The study also suggest that the educator need to perform as a negotiator in coworking process within group members and need to have an active approach on stimulation of study motivation among the students.
