고온수열 전후의 콘크리트 내구성 변화에 관한 연구 (The Change of Concrete Durability under High Temperature)

  • 본 연구에서는 고온 수열 콘크리트의 세공구조 변화를 평가하기 위하여 질소 흡착법을 이용한 분석을 실시하였다. 아울러 역학적 특성 및 염화물 이온 확산계수의 변화도 측정하였으며, 고온 수열 후의 내구성 변화가 RC조의 수명에 미치는 영향을 예측하기 위해 2차원 유한요소 모델을 구축하였다. W/C에 따라 각 시험체의 가열온도가 증가할수록 약 0.01${\mu}m$ 이하의 미세 공극량은 감소하고, 약 $0.01{\mu}m{\sim}0.1{\mu}m$크기의 세공공극은 증가하였다. 역학적 특성은 탈수가 발생하는 $200{\sim}600^{\circ}C$에서는 급격하게 감소하였으며 염화물이온 확산계수는 반대로 급격히 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 수치해석을 통하여 가열(화재)에 의하여 콘크리트 속 철근 위치가 발청 한계 농도에 도달하는데 소요되는 시간이 단축되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 물 및 물을 주성분으로 하는 NaCl, $Na_{2}$CO$_{3}$, NaOH 등의 비휘발성 수용액을 담금제로 하고 KS M 2172의 열처리유 냉각성능 실험 방법에서 채택하고 있는 은시편(순도 99.9%)을 이용한 표준냉각곡선으로부터 냉각 속도 열전달계수 및 담금강열도 등 담금제의 냉각성능 파라미터를 구하였으며, 각종 담금제의 온도 및 수용액의 농도 변화에 따른 냉각성능을 평가하였다. 그리고 실험에서 채택한 시편 및 담금제를 모델로 하여 축대칭 비정상 열전도방정식을 유한 요소법에 의하여 해석하고 냉각시간에 따른 시편의 온도분포를 계산하여 실험결과와 비교하였다.

유한요소법과 전계-열전자 방출 모델에 의한 절연유체 내 공간전하 전파해석 (Analysis of Space Charge Propagation in a Dielectric liquid Employing Field-Thermal Electron Emission Model and Finite Element Method)

  • In an insulating dielectric liquid such as transformer oil, space charge injection and propagation were analyzed under the Fowler-Nordheim and Richardson-Dushman's thermal emission charge injection conditions for blade-plane electrodes stressed by a step voltage. The governing equations were composed of all five equations such as the Poisson's equation for electric fields, three continuity equations for electrons, negative, and positive ions, and energy balanced equation for temperature distributions. The governing equations for each carrier, the continuity equations, belong to the hyperbolic-type PDE of which the solution has a step change at the space charge front resulting in numerical instabilities. To decrease these instabilities, the governing equations were solved simultaneously by the Finite Element Method (FEM) employing the artificial diffusion scheme as a stabilization technique. Additionally, the terminal current was calculated by using the generalized energy method which is based on the Poynting's theorem, and represents more reliable and stable approach for evaluating discharge current. To verify the proposed method, the discharge phenomena were successfully applied to the blade~plane electrodes, where the radius of blade cap was $50{\mu}m$.

프라이자흐 모델과 유한요소법을 이용한 C.P.M의 착자 특성 해석 (Magnetizing Analysis of a Convergence Purity Magnet using Preisach model and Finite Element Method)

  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis of magnetizer for convergence purity magnet by the finite element method. The analysis utilizes combined method of the time-stepped finite element analysis and the Preisach model with hysteresis phenomena. In the finite element analysis, the non-linearity and the eddy current of the magnetizing fixure and permanent-magnet are taken account. The magnetization distribution in the permanent magnet is determined by using Preisach model which are composed of Everett function table and the first order transition curves is obtained by the Vibrating Sample Magnetometer. The calculated flux density values on the surface of the permanent magnet are led to the approximated gauss density values measured by the gauss meter. As a result, winding current, copper loss, eddy current loss of the magnetizing yoke, flux plot, surface gauss plot, temperature rise of the coil and resistor variation, vector diagram of magnetization distribution are shown.

  • Number of components and payload systems installed in satellites were found to be exposed to various disturbance sources such as the reaction wheel assembly, the control moment gyro, coolers, and others. A micro-level of vibration can introduce jitter problems into an optical payload system and cause significant degradation of the image quality. Moreover, the prediction of on-orbit vibration effects on the performance of optical payloads during the development process is always important. However, analyzing interactions between subsystems and predicting the vibration level of the payloads is extremely difficult. Therefore, this paper describes the analytical and experimental approach to microvibration effects on satellite optical payload performance with integrated jitter analysis frame-work, microvibration emulator and satellite structure testbed.

  • The automatic load transfer switch (ALTS), a kind of electric power switch, typically automatically transfers electrical loads from a normal electrical power source to an emergency electrical power source upon reduction or loss of normal power source voltage. It can also automatically re-transfer the load to the normal power source when the normal voltage has been restored within acceptable limits. The transfer operation of ALTS is accomplished by a spring-driven linkage mechanism. In order to control or delay the transfer switching time, the ALTS studied in this paper uses the superposed leaf springs, which are subjected to impact leadings in contacting with electrical contacts. Therefore, to confirm whether the springs has enough mechanical endurance in ALTS, we build a finite element model of the superposed lear springs using LS-DYNA and perform the impact and fatigue analysis.

유한요소법 및 유사 3 차원 스트릿-타이 모델 방법을 이용한 PSC 박스거더 정착부의 해석 (Analysis of PSC Box Girder Anchorage Zone using FEM and 2D SUB-3D STM Approach)

  • This study evaluates the behavior and strength of an anchorage zone of the prestressed concrete box girder bridge on the Kyungboo highway railroad using the 2D SUB-3D STM approach and a linear elastic finite element analysis. The 2D SUB-3D STM approach utilizes several two-dimensional sub strut-tie models that represent the compressive and tensile stress flows of each projected plane of the three-dimensional structural concrete in the selection of a three dimensional strut-tie model, evaluation of the effective strengths of the concrete struts, and verification of the geometric compatibility condition and bearing capacity of the critical nodal zones in the selected three-dimensional strut-tie model. The finite element analysis uses an 8-node brick element and the longitudinal prestressing force is considered as the equivalent nodal force. Analysis results show that the 2D SUB-3D STM approach and linear elastic finite element method can be effectively applied to the analysis and design of three-dimensional structural concrete including a prestressed concrete box girder anchorage zone.

충격하중을 받는 고무구조물의 동특성 평가 (Evaluation of the Dynamic Characteristics of Rubber Structure under Impact Force)

  • 고무는 금속 및 플라스틱 재료와 달리 작은 하중에서도 큰 변형이 발생되며, 높은 변형 구간에서 탄성특성을 보이는 특징이 있다. 특히 충격흡수 특성이 금속 및 플라스틱보다 우수하므로 제진 및 충격 완충구조물로 널리 활용되고 있다. 충격하중을 받는 고무 구조물의 특성을 평가하기 위하여 자유 낙하형 충격시험기를 이용하여 충격실험을 실시하였으며, ABAQUS/Explicit를 이용하여 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 고무의 동강성은 충격펄스의 최대변형량과 충격지속시간으로부터 얻어진 진폭과 주파수를 적용하여 동특성 시험을 수행하고 WLF모델을 적용하여 높은 주파수 대역의 동강성을 예측하였다. 실험을 실시한 $0.3{\sim}l.5J$의 충격에너지 영역에서는 고무의 경도가 증가되면 충격흡수율이 감소되며, 충격에너지가 커질수록 충격흡수율은 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.

근사모델을 이용한 의 구조최적설계 (Structural Optimization of an LMU Using Approximate Model)

  • This study suggests an optimal design process of an LMU, which is installed on the top side of offshore structures. The LMU is consist of EB(elastomeric bearing) and steel plate, and supports the vertical loads of offshore structures and assists its stable installation. The structural design requirement of the LMU is related to its stiffness. This study utilizes the finite element analysis to predict the stiffness. The stiffness of the EB depends on the size of the bearing. Thus, the design variables in this study are defined as the thickness, the width and the number of plates. Since the LMU has different loads for different locations, its stiffness should be designed differently. The multiobjective function is introduced to attain the target stiffness. In this process, the metamodel using the kriging interpolation method is adopted to replace the true stiffness.

파이프 지지구조와 하부 보강의 설계와 강도 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Strength Evaluation of the Pipe Support Structure and Hull Reinforcement)

  • In the case of gas carriers and oil tankers, pipes are installed on the upper deck as a moving passage to load LPG, LNG, crude oil, etc. Pipes used for loading or unloading liquid cargo in cargo holds are connected to the hull through support structures. However, many cases of hull damage have been reported where the various equipment and support structures are installed on the upper deck. It is assumed that not only the structural discontinuity where the hull and the pipe support structure meet, but also action due to the pipe loads and the hull girder bending moment are simultaneously affected. This paper deals with the design and strength evaluation of the support structure of pipes and cables installed on the upper deck of commercial ships and offshore structures. For these supporting structures, design conditions and working loads were defined. The design procedure was established through the structure analysis on the method of determining the member dimensions. A series of finite element analysis was performed on the factors to be considered in the design and the effects were discussed. The accuracy and design periods of the strength evaluation was improved and reduced by application of the automation program in the finite element analysis. It is also expected that the design reliability of the shipyard is improved.
