  • The development of a prototype for a Bridge Transported Servo Manipulator (BTSM) system operating in a hot cell is introduced. Mechanical master-slave manipulators (MSMs) which are mounted on the hot cell wall cannot access all the areas for the equipment maintenance due to their reach limitation. The BTSM has been developed to overcome the limitation of access that is a drawback of the MSMs for the equipment maintenance. Wire driven mechanisms have been adopted to increase the handling capacity to weight. This system can be a useful reference for designing other devices in the nuclear industry.

  • Because contemporary rolling stock system is complex and highly advanced, and it builds mutual interface, it is necessary to manage maintenance of rolling stock systematically. This study present a case, which shows how to adopt and apply RTD(Remote Transmission Device) integrated to train information collection device. After the train service is complete and the train enters the main subway station, various kinds of information collected from TCMS(Train Control Monitoring System) is transmitted to train depot information collection device through RTD. This study suggests that RTD integrated to train information collection device helps build an effective rolling stock maintenance system by improving reliability of data transmission and cutting maintenance costs.

Power Line Detection of Arial Images Using Hough Transform (하프변환을 이용한 항공영상의 전력선 검출)

  • Effective monitoring and maintenance operation of towers, power lines and other defects to ensure high quality and reliability of electric power supplied to customers is becoming one of the most important tasks of today's power industry. One specific technology that has the potential to automate the entire surveillance process is unmanned aerial vehicles. In this paper, we propose a new power line extraction method using the directivity of a power line and Hough transform to detect efficiently power lines from thermal aerial images. In simulation results for several aerial images, the proposed method shows good performance in extracting power line detection.

  • To improve maintenance, environmental issues, efficiency, and economics to supplement the current air braking problems, braking power related to the entire driving range of electric brakes was presented in all areas from stop to high speed. As a result, the efficiency of braking power and cutting-edge technology have expanded energy use, and through this paper, noise in all driving ranges can be reduced, and maintenance costs can be reduced. The traction motor must bring the variable speed of the traction motor and the terminal voltage of the traction motor to drive high-speed driving characteristics that control the maximum voltage of the inverter. Therefore, we studied driving and brake changes through simulation.

  • IT 관련 프로젝트를 진행 시 프로젝트 진행 도중 예상치 못한 많은 문제에 봉착하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 IT 프로젝트 대부분이 도입, 사용하는 요구사항분석-설계-개발-테스트-배포-유지보수단계 중 개발단계 및 유지보수 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점에 초점을 맞추었다. PMG 란 Project Management Negotiator 의 약자로서 개발 시 고객의 요구사항이 변경되면 고객과 개발자 간의 개발에 소요되는 난이도, 일정, 비용에 따른 관점이 다를 수 있으므로, 이러한 차이점을 서로 이해 할 수 있는 범위 내에서 감소시킬 수 있는 모델을 제시한다. 또한 제시한 모델에 근거한 매핑테이블과 프로세스를 개발하고 실제 pilot 시스템을 구축하여 효용성을 검증한다. 제시한 프로젝트 관리 협상 모델을 통하여 일정에 차질 없는 프로젝트가 수행 가능하며 비용절감 및 고객만족 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 결과적으로 일정, 비용 측면 및 고객 만족 세 가지 측면에서 기존의 프로젝트 개발 방법론보다 더 나은 일정준수, 효율성, 정확성 등의 정량적, 정성적 만족을 확보할 수 있다.

  • 최근 기업에서는 기업경쟁력 강화의 일환으로 다수의 업무처리솔루션을 활용하여 업무처리의 효율성과 효과성을 제고하기 위해 노력하고 있다. ERP 시스템 또한 이러한 맥락으로 기업에서 활용하는 기업형 솔루션으로서 현재 대부분의 기업에서 이를 활용하여 업무를 처리하고 있으며 많은 연구문헌으로 그 효과가 널리 알려져 있다. 이러한 ERP 시스템은 도입이 중요한 것이 아니라, 도입후의 활용으로 효율성을 증대하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 업무처리능력의 향상. 비용절감효과, 재고의 감소 등 실질적인 성과를 위해서는 시스템의 도입뿐만 아니라 유지보수, 시스템 교육과 같은 사후 관리가 절실히 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기업의 ERP 시스템의 활용을 지원하기 위한 방안으로서 e-learning을 제안한다. 기업에서의 e-learning 활용방안에 대한 문헌은 다수 있지만, ERP 시스템의 지원을 위한 e-learning 활용방안은 부족한 현실이다. 따라서 ERP 시스템과 e-learning 시스템과의 연계모델을 제안하고, ERP 시스템 교육을 위한 방법으로서의 e-learning의 우수성을 증명하고자 한다.

  • 공공시설 자산관리는 새로운 시설물 유지보수 개념으로 유지관리체계를 넘어 자산의 가치를 높이는 관리체계이다. 이 연구의 목적은 도로 및 교량 같은 공공시설에 자산관리체계를 지원하는 정보시스템을 구축하는데 필수적인 자산의 가치와 가치비용을 평가하는 방법을 개발하는 것이다. 따라서 자산가치를 자산평가 척도인 LoS(Level of Service)를 바탕으로 금전적인 값어치로 공학적 관점에서 계산하는 이론적 방법을 연구하였다. 가치개념을 정립하기 위해 성능은 LoS를 적용하였고, 비용은 유지관리를 위한 직접 투입비용을 적용하였다. 연구목적상 기존 연구결과인 자산비용과 가치비용의 개념을 적용하였으며 합리적인 시설물의 가치비용을 추정하기 위해 추가적으로 자산의 규모, 시설물의 현재 상태, 투입예산의 효과, 시설물의 중요도를 고려하도록 제안하였다. 제안한 자산비용을 바탕으로 하는 가치비용이 최대가 되는 유지관리대안을 선정한다면 최적의 시나리오가 될 것이다.

A Study on Development of BIM-based Asset Management Model for Maintenance of the Bridge (교량의 유지관리를 위한 BIM기반 자산관리 모델 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The most of domestic bridge has an used life under 30 years, Future maintenance budgets can be expected to increase. However, because of bridge maintenance budgets are limited, demand for asset management being performed to achieve required performance within available budget is increasing. To perform effective asset management of bridges should be made the best use of information to occur in all phase of construction project. Therefore, the development of system and DB is required to support asset management by effective information management. The objective of this study is the development of the BIM-based bridge asset management model. Through previous research survey, BIM capabilities and asset management components were established and mutual linkages were examined. Bridge asset management model was composed of alternate assessment model. In addition, BIM-based asset management model was performed case studies to verify feasibility and applicability. The proposed model can be applied to a current bridge maintenance procedures and supported to perform effective bridge maintenance tasks within a limited budget.

  • Service life of bridges should be evaluated by physical life considering damage/deterioration. But it is difficult to identify optimal maintenance scenario due to insufficient research related to that. To identify optimal maintenance scenario, it is needed to develope life cycle profile model of condition state variation by deterioration factor. The LCP model has been developed in consideration of regression analysis and survey in this study. It is expected that the LCP model could help to achieve HBMS system improvement.

  • Code refactoring focuses on enhancing the maintainability of software to extend its lifetime. However as software applications were varied and the range of its usage becomes broaden, there are some efforts to improve software qualities like performance or reliability as well as maintainability using code refactoring techniques. Recently, as low-energy software has become one of critical issues in mobile environment, developing energy efficient software through code refactoring becomes an important one. Therefore this paper has its goal to investigate whether the existing refactoring techniques can support energy efficient software generation or not. That is to say, the existing code refactoring techniques can cause the minus of energy efficiency because they did not considered the energy consumption in their refactoring process. This paper experiments and analyzes to check whether the M. Fowler's code refactoring techniques can support the energy efficient software generation or not. Our research result can give to software developer some informations about energy-efficient refactoring techniques, and can support the development of software that has high maintainability and good energy efficiency.
