기존의 정보 추출에서는 웹 문서의 구조가 변경되었을 때 Wrapper가 원하는 정보를 추출할 수 없었다. 또한 웹 문서의 구조가 바뀌는 경우 동일한 정보를 Wrapping함에도 불구하고 사용자는 정보를 추출 할 수 없었던 이유를 찾지 못하는 경우가 대부분이었다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 Web 페이지를 시각적 블록 단위로 잘라 인접한 블록들을 통해 그래프를 형성하여 웹 문서의 구조가 일부 변경되어도 기존의 Wrapper를 통해 정보를 추출할 수 있도록 보다 효율적으로 Wrapper를 생성하고 유지관리 하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 웹 문서를 블록 단위로 분할하여 그래프를 생성함으로써 블록 내부에 추출하고자 하는 정보에 대한 규칙이 좀 더 유연하게 표현 될 수 있으며 문서의 구조가 아닌 추출하고자 하는 정보를 중심으로 규칙을 생성함으로써 그래프의 구조뿐 아니라 그래프를 구성하고 있는 블록 내부의 구조가 일부 변하더라도 기존의 규칙을 이용하여 정보를 추출할 수 있도록 하였다.

Web Information Systems have many static HTML documents and dynamic CGI application programs. A hyperlinked information environment on Web systems include lots of mutually referenced documents. This cause problems of data consistency in a intra-document and among inter-documents. To solve the problems, we propose a management method of Web system which have hierarchical information structure, and an unified problem-solving approach. We construct a large scale practical Web system based upon the proposed architecture. The proposed results can provide many advantage to WebMasteters.

XML은 자기 서술적인 표현 언어라는 중요한 장점을 가지고 있기 때문에 인터넷 관련 응용들에서 정보의 표현 및 문서 교환의 표준으로 빠른 속도로 자리잡아 가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SQL에 XPath 표현 중 일부를 추가하여 SQL을 확장함으로써 XML 문서에 대한 질의를 가능하게 하였고, 또한 SQL의 CRUD(Create, Read. Update, Delete) 기능을 그대로 사용함으로써 XML 문서의 변경이 가능한 XML 질의를 위한 새롭게 확장된 SQL을 제안하였다. 그리고 폭 넓게 사용되고 있는 ORDBMS 환경에서 XML 색인 정보를 자동 생성 관리하는 XML 저장 관리기 및 확장된 SQL 처리기를 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 확장된 SQL 처리기는 XML 원문 자체의 보관을 원칙으로 하여 완벽한 문서 복구 등에 따르는 부담을 제거하였고, XML 저장 문서에 대한 원본성 및 무결성을 쉽게 유지할 수 있도록 하였으며, 색인 정보를 자동 생성 관리함으로써 파일 처리 시간과 XML 트리 운행 시간 및 XPath 파싱 처리 시간을 줄였다. 또한, “path”라는 키워드를 추가로 관리함으로써 ORDBMS 환경에서 XML 질의를 위한 SQL 변환 과정에서 PATH의 깊이 만큼 조인이 중첩되는 문제를 배제하여 조인이 발생할 가능성을 줄이는 방법을 제시하였다.

최근 산업경쟁이 심화되면서 지식은 기업 가치에서 점점 더 많은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 이러한 지식을 기업의 자산으로서 체계적으로 관리하고 확산시키기 위하여 지식관리 시스템이 등장하였다. 본 논문은 문서 검색을 이용하는 지식관리 시스템의 설계를 대상으로 한다. 특히, 지식관리 시스템의 효과적인 문서 검색을 위하여 온톨로지 맵을 구성하고, 지식 검색에 이용하고자 한다. 온톨로지 맵의 구축과 수정 및 확장 방안을 제안하고, 질의에 대해 적합한 문서를 추출하기 위하여 질의어와 온톨로지 맵 간, 온톨로지 맵과 문서간의 유사성을 측정하고 이를 결합하는 방법을 설명한다. 이러한 온톨로지 맵을 이용한 지식관리에 관한 연구는 지식의 체계적인 유지 및 확장성뿐 아니라, 지식 검색의 정확성과 유연성을 배가할 수 있을 것이다.

Wiki시스템은 공유와 참여의 장점을 갖고 있지만 이로 인해 정확성과 유효성을 보장하지 못하고 잘못된 자료들이 많아 질수 있는 점과 재사용이 어렵다는 취약점이 있다. 그러므로 효율적으로 지식의 획득, 유지, 및 공유할 수 있는 지식관리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 지능형 문서검색 시스템은 메타데이터를 활용하여 지식그룹을 생성하고 랭킹기법을 활용한 지능형 문서검색 시스템을 제안한다. Dokuwiki를 활용한 지능형 문서검색 시스템은 이동성과 효율성 정확성이란 특징을 갖는다. Dokuwiki는 미니 웹 서버에서 실행되기 때문에 Mobile또는 PDA등 이들 첨단 정보통신 기기를 사용한다면 지식관리가 자유롭기 때문에 더욱 편리하고 효율적인 지식관리 시스템이 가능할 것이다.

W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)가 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)을 차세대 웹 문서 표준으로 제안하면서 많은 응용에서 XML을 사용하려는 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 뷰는 이질적인(heterogeneous) 데이터의 통합 및 여과(filtering) 기능을 통해서 사용자가 요구하는 데이터를 제공한다. 뷰의 구현 기법 중에서 실체 뷰(materialized view)는 뷰의 내용을 직접 저장하는 기법으로서, 사용자의 질의에 빠른 응답시간을 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 실체 뷰는 하부 데이터베이스가 변경되었을 경우에 일관성을 유지해야 하는 오버헤드가 있다. XML은 문서의 구조정보를 나타낼 수 있으므로 기존의 관계 데이터베이스와 객체지향 데이터베이스 등에서 연구되었던 실체 뷰 관리 기법과는 다른 XML 실체 뷰 관리 기법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서를 대상으로 XML 실체 뷰를 지원하고, 데이터베이스에 저장된 XML 문서가 수정되었을 경우에 XML 실체 뷰에 대해 점진적 갱신(incremental refresh)을 지원하는 XML 실체 뷰 관리 프레임워크(framework)를 제안하였다.

Recently, construction industry has an interest on the maintenance area of construction facilities to maximize utilization of the each facility. This study suggests an interactive electronic technical manual for bridge facility to improve quality and to ensure safety of the bridge facility. The improvement method of bridge maintenance system consists of the basic information ell the facilities, maintenance manuals and measurement system. And the suggested system is based on the facilities, maintenance manuals and measurement system. And the suggested system is based on IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual), and this study defines and develops a $BF\_IETM (Bridge Facility\_ITEM$ as the bridge maintenance system.

The view can provide the user an appropriate portion of the database through data integration and filtering. Views can be materialized for query performance improvement, and in that cse, their consistency needs to be maintained against the updates of the underlying data. They can be either recomputed or incrementally refreshed by reflecting the relevant updates. Since XML could represent the structural information of the documents, for the XML materialized views, new techniques that differ from the previous ones for incrementally refreshing the relational views are required. In this paper, we propose a framework of XML materialized view management where the XML view derived from the underlying XML documents are materialized and incrementally refreshed against the updates of the underlying documents.

The electronic documents have the documental aspect that can legible by human and the electronic aspect that can be interpreted and processed automatically by machinery. This usability of electronic documents must be the reason that people use them in almost all the business areas rapidly in these days. That is because we have to utilize the characteristics to interchange electronic documents(EDI) effectively and efficiently. The electronic document interchange of Korean government cannot make the best of this benefit due to the traditional way of thinking based on paper document and the viewpoint of individual business, organization. and project. This paper proposed a direction of ED! for Korean government. At first. the concept of electronic docuemnts is defined. The reason and limitations of structuring the documents with XML and the hidden problems of present ED! in Korean public sector are also explained. And the way to preserve information, to design the structure of electronic document. and to maintain relevant standards is proposed.

데이터베이스를 구축하고 서비스하기 위한 대부분의 방식은 상용 DBMS를 사용하여 문서에 대한 관리를 수행하고, 사용자 검색을 수행하기 위해 정보검색 시스템을 사용하는 DBMS와 정보검색 시스템의 연동방식을 채택하고 있다. 이러한 환경은 DBMS와 정보검색 시스템을 이중으로 운영하여야 하는 불편함이 있고, 변동된 문서에 대한 데이터 일관성을 유지하기 어렵고, 데이터를 중복 저장하므로 저장 공간의 낭비를 가져온다. DBMS를 기반으로 정보 검색 시스템을 밀결합하는 방법도 있으나 검색 속도저하문제를 야기하였다. 본 논문에서는 정보 검색 시스템을 바탕으로, DBMS의 필수 요소인 안정적인 문서 관리 부분을 접목한 정보검색 관리 시스템을 설계한다.
