영양교육과 운동을 병행한 프로그램이 중등도비만여성의 비만도와 행동변화에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Nutrition Education and Exercise Program on Obesity Index and Behavioral Modification in Moderate Obese Women)

  • 본 연구에서는 12주 동안 성인 여성 중 체지방률 40% 이상 또는 BMI 30 이상인 여성을 대상으로 37차시의 비만관리 프로그램일환으로 영양교육과 운동중재를 병행 실시하여 대상자의 식습관 및 운동 습관 조사, 신체성분과 식이섭취와 생화학적 지표에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 1. 조사대상자의 평균 연령은 44.8세였으며 참여자의 55%가 폐경이었다. 2. 체중조절 관심도 변화에서 체중 조절 방법은 식사조절과 운동이 프로그램 참여 전 34.4%에서 프로그램 후 37.5%로 증가하였다(p<0.01). 3. 신체활동 변화에서 중등도 신체활동을 10분 이상 한날은 프로그램 참여 전 3.20일에서 프로그램 후 4.25일로 증가하고, 스트레칭 등 유연성 운동을 한 날은 프로그램 참여 전 2.60일에서 프로그램 참여 후 3.85일로 유의적으로 증가하였다(p<0.01). 4. 바른 식습관 점수 변화는 프로그램 참여 전 4.15점에서 프로그램 참여 후 7.10점으로 유의적(p<0.001)으로 증가하였다. 5. 에너지 및 다량 영양소 섭취는 프로그램 전후간 차이는 없었으나 식이섬유(p<0.01), 철, 칼륨, 비타민A, 비타민 $B_6$, 나이아신의 섭취는 프로그램 참여 전에 비해 프로그램 참여 후에 유의적으로 증가하였다(p<0.05). 6. 혈압과 혈액 생화학적 특성 지표인 TC, 공복혈당 및 TG는 프로그램 참여 전후 간 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 7. 영양교육과 운동 프로그램 종료 후 체중, 체지방률, 복부둘레 및 내방지방 수치는 유의적으로 감소하였으며, 근육양과 신체발달 점수는 유의적으로 증가하였다(p<0.001). 이상의 결과를 볼 때, 중등도 비만여성에서 12주간 영양교육과 운동 중재 프로그램 실시는 식사의 질을 향상시키고 바림직한 식습관의 변화를 유도하였으며 비만도는 감소하면서 근육양이 증가하여 요요현상이 없이 비만관리 프로그램 교육 내용이 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 향후 장기적인 비만의 지속관리와 체계적인 연구가 계속되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

베하스운동 프로그램이 유방암생존자의 유연성, 악력, 스트레스, 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of BeHaS Exercise Program on Flexibility, Grip Strength, Stress and Self-esteem in Breast Cancer Survivors)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effectiveness of a BeHaS exercise program in breast cancer survivors. The subjects of breast cancer survivors participating in this research were selected from C National University Hospital. Methods: This study used non equivalent control group non-synchronized design with an experimental group (n=27) and a control group (n=31). The BeHaS exercise program consisted of theme activity, education, group support and exercise. The experimental group participated in session twice a week for ten weeks. Grip strength, perceived stress, cortisol, and self-esteem were measured. Data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 12.0. Results: After the program, the grip strength and self-esteem of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The perceived stress of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusion: The results of this study confirmed that BeHaS exercise program played a useful role in improving breast cancer survivor's physical and psychological problem.

윌리엄 & 멕켄지 운동을 이용한 스위스 볼 운동이 요부유연성, 근력과 균형감각에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Improve the Waist Flexibility, the Waist Muscular Strength and the Waist Balance which Grafted in William & McKenzie Exercise with Swiss Ball)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this research was comparing and analyzing the exercise effect for the public who was not suffering back pain exercise in improving the waist flexibility, the waist muscular strength and the waist sense of equilibrium after grafted in William & McKenzie exercise with swiss ball. METHODS: 16 people who were not in progress of the chronic low-back pain were recruited. They were grouped into 8 for each experiment(GSBE=Group which play swiss ball exercise, GWME=Group which William & McKenzie exercise). RESULTS: The following result was obtained through measurement of three items in both pre and post examination. CONCLUSION: Comparing the average result of flexibility improvements of each group after 12-week exercise program, the result showed that GSBE was more effective than GWME with increase of muscular strength. Comparing the average result of muscular strength of each group after 12-week exercise program, the result showed that GSBE was more effective than GWME with increase of flexibility improvements. Comparing the average result of sense equilibrium of each group after 12-week exercise program, the result showed that GSBE was more effective than GWME with increase of sense equilibrium.

수중운동과 슬링운동이 척주옆굽음증을 가진 젊은 성인의 척추각과 유연성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Aquatic Exercise versus Sling Exercise on Spinal Angle and Flexibility in Young Adults with Scoliosis)

  • PURPOSE: This study assessed the exercise programs for improving the spinal angle and trunk flexibility by applying the aquatic exercise and sling exercise to young adults with scoliosis. METHODS: The subjects were 14 participants diagnosed with scoliosis. They were assigned randomly either to an aquatic exercise group (n=7) that received the WATSU exercise program or to a sling exercise group (n=7) that received a sling exercise program. The exercise program was 50 minutes once, three times a week, 12 times for four weeks. The spinal angle and flexibility were measured using the Cobb's angle and modified sit and reach test, respectively. Two variables were analyzed before and after the intervention, and the aquatic exercise group and sling exercise group were compared. RESULTS: After the intervention, the Cobb's angle decreased significantly, and the flexibility increased significantly in both groups (p<.05). A larger increase in flexibility was observed in the aquatic exercise group than in the sling exercise group (p<.05). CONCLUSION: These results showed that the two exercise programs improved the spine angle and flexibility. The increased flexibility showed that aquatic exercise was more effective than the sling exercise. Therefore, aquatic exercise and sling exercise can be used in the treatment and prevention of scoliosis.

암 극복 베하스 운동 프로그램이 유방암 수술 후 환자의 통증, 유연성, 악력, 스트레스에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Cancer-overcome BeHaS Exercise Program on Pain, Flexibility, Grip Strength and Stress in Breast Cancer Patients Following Surgery)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program on pain, flexibility, grip strength and stress in patient with breast cancer following surgery. Method: Study was designed as a non-synchronized research method with a nonequivalent control group. Data collection was performed from September 2007 to January 1, 2008. Participants were 34 patients (experimental group: 19, control group: 15) undergoing surgery for breast cancer in a hospital in D city. Women in the experimental group were participated in the cancer-overcome BeHaS (Be Happy and Strong) exercise program for 60 minutes per session once a week for 8 weeks and it was recommended that they do the exercises once more each week at home. The control group received one education session on breast cancer management. Results: There were no significant differences between the two groups for pain, flexibility or grip strength. But stress in experimental group was significantly decreased compared to that of the control group. Conclusion: This result suggests that cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program is helpful to reduce stress in patients after breast cancer surgery. Further research is needed for multi-dimensional evaluation on psycho-social effects of cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program.

  • 축구는 유산소와 무산소운동이 혼합된 형태의 구기이고, 축구에서 필요로 하는 신체 능력은 지구력, 근력, 스피드, 순발력 및 유연성 등이 있으며, 이중 골 결정력에 영향을 미치는 인자는 순발력이 필수적인 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나, 최근 축구의 경향을 보면, 스피드를 중시하는 미드필더의 강한 압박을 기본으로 하는데, 따라서 체력적인 요소 중에서 스피드에 더 많은 관심이 모아지고 있다. 이런 스피드의 요소에 대하여 자세히 알아보도록 하자.

체간신전근의 근력강화운동과 신장운동이 20대 청소년의 근력 및 유연성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Muscle Strengthening Exercise and Stretching Exercise of Trunk Extensor Muscles on Muscular Strength and Flexibility in Adolescent of the Twenties)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to examine the Influence of muscle strengthening exercise and stretching exercise of trunk extensor muscles on muscular strength and flexibility in adolescent of the twenties. Methods : Muscle strengthening exercise group(n=10), stretching exercise group(n=10) and strengthening and stretching exercise group(n=10) were measured muscular strength by digital back and leg dynamometer and flexibility by sit and reach test and trunk extension test at pre-intervention and post-intervention in 4weeks. Results : The flexibility 1, flexibility 2 and muscular strength of muscle strengthening exercise group were significantly increased within the intervention period(p<.05). The flexibility 2 and muscular strength of stretching exercise group were significantly increased within the intervention period(p<.05). but flexibility 1 was not significantly different at in 4 weeks(p>.05). The flexibility 1, flexibility 2 and muscular strength of muscle strengthening and stretching exercise group were significantly increased within the intervention period(p<.05). Conclusion : We were found that muscle strengthening exercise and stretching exercise of trunk extensor muscles could improve muscular strength and flexibility for adolescent of the twenties.

요통이 있는 여성을 위한 수지요법과 요부강화 운동 프로그램 적용효과 (Effects of the Hand Acupressure and Lumbar Strengthening Exercise on Women with Lower Back Pain)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the hand acupressure and lumbar strengthening exercise on young adult women with back pain. Methods: The study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 37 female young adults (19 persons in the experimental group and 18 persons in the control group). The hand acupressure and strengthening exercise for lower back were developed by the investigator and a hand acupressure expert. The experimental group was exposed to this program 5 days a week for 4 weeks. The visual analog scale, back muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life were used as measurement instruments. The data were analyzed with frequency, t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS 18.0. Results: In this study, the hand acupressure and strengthening exercise showed siginificant effects on the back muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life in the experimental group compared to the control group. However, back pain score was not significantly decreased after the program. Conclusion: The study suggests that this program can be applied for the women with low back pain in order to enhance the back muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life.

슬링운동과 스위스볼 운동이 체간 유연성 및 근력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Swiss Ball and Sling Exercise on Back Flexibility and Strength)

  • Purpose : The Purpose of this study was performed to find out back flexibility and strength by Swiss ball and sling exercise. Methods : Subjects were randomly assigned to 3 groups; Swiss ball(n=9), Sling(n=8) and Swiss ball and Sling(n=8). Each groups had the exercise 30 minute per week for 4 weeks. The case of Swiss ball-sling group had 15 minutes for ball exercise and 15 minute for sling exercise. Results : First, sling group among groups significantly increased in flexibility test 1. Second, ball group among groups significantly increased in flexibility test 2. Third, ball-sling group among groups significantly increased in strength test 1 and 2. Fourth, follow-up study after 2 weeks was revealed that flexibility and strength were decreased in all groups. Conclusion : The effect were not consistent with exercise methods. Accordingly, it should be selected for purpose and effect you want.

유연성 평발인 남성의 보행 시 족궁지지대의 강도가 보행특성에 미치는 영향 - 발목관절을 중심으로 - (Investigate the Effect of Arch Support Stiffness on Gait Characteristics in Men with Flexible Flat Feet - A Focus on the Ankle Joint -)

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the strength of the ankle support on the walking characteristics and ankle joints when men with flexible flat feet walk. Method: 13 adult male subjects (age: 23.9 ± 2.4 yrs, height: 173.0 ± 5.0 cm, weight: 76.9 ± 13.2 kg, Navicular Drop Test (NDT): 10.2 ± 0.8 mm) participated in this study. Each participant had to walk with the 3 conditions, barefoot, soft arch support and hard arch support, along a walkway while their kinematics was recorded at 100 Hz. Results: Based on the results of this study, it is considered that men with flexible flat feet should use hard arch support rather than bare feet to induce normal arch shape, relieve foot damage caused by excessive ankle joint abnormalities and improve stability. Conclusion: Our results for men with flat flexibility, there was a significant difference in the value of step length when walking was performed using two arch supports with different strengths. The angle of ankle dorsiflexion was significantly increased, and the ankle eversion angle was significantly decreased.
