통영 주변해역에 서식하는 돌가자미(Kareius bicoloratus)와 줄가자미(Clidoderma asperrimum)의 위내용물 조성 (Stomach Contents of the Stone Flounder, Kareius bicoloratus and Roughscale Flounder, Clidoderma asperrimum in the Coastal Waters off Tongyeong, Korea)

  • 통영주변해역에서 2010년 1월부터 8월까지 낚시, 자망 그리고 새우조망을 이용하여 돌가자미 102개체와 줄가자미 101개체를 채집하고 위내용물을 분석하였다. 각각의 위내용물 분석 결과 돌가자미는 이매패류와 어류가 대부분을 차지하였고, 줄가자미는 거미불가사리류가 위내용물의 대부분을 차지하여 저서성 육식어류로 나타났다. Prey-specific abundance 분석 결과 다른 가자미과 어류들과 비교하여 깊은 수심에 서식하는 돌가자미와 줄가자미는 각각 이매패류와 거미불가사리류에 섭식이 특화된 specialist predator로 나타났다. 돌가자미와 줄가자미는 같은 지역에 출현하는 유사종 사이에서 나타날 수 있는 먹이경쟁을 피하기 위해 서로 다른 식성을 가지는 것으로 판단할 수 있다.

  • This study examined the spatiotemporal distribution of demersal fish aggregations in the Northern East China Sea by conducting a trawl survey with hydroacoustic devices. A bottom trawl was used for this survey and fish density was determined from the catch data. Acoustic data were collected at frequencies of 38 and 200 kHz from November to December 2014 and converted into the nautical area scattering coefficient (NASC, $m^2/n{\cdot}mile^2$). In the catch data analysis, the range of catch per unit area by station was $26-8,055kg/km^2$ and for the acoustic data, that of the NASC was $0.45-34.80m^2/n{\cdot}mile^2$. The values were significantly correlated. The combined results of both surveys found that the density was highest at St. 5 ($33^{\circ}$ 10.3', $126^{\circ}$ 23.3') and lowest at St. 8 ($33^{\circ}$ 20.7', $127^{\circ}$ 36.3'). The application of hydroacoustic methods offers a new approach for estimating the biomass of demersal fish aggregations.

온경탕(溫經湯)에 관(關)한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (A bibliographic study on Onkyungtang)

  • Through the study of successive literatures from the Han-dynasty(漢代) when ${\\ll}$Keumkweyeuliak(金궤要略)${\gg}$ was written to modern age, we inspected many types of Onkyuatgtang(溫經湯) and prescriptions including the term of 'Okywg(溫湯)' or 'Chokyung(調經), and look into their composition and symptoms respond to administration of this medicine, The results of this study were as follows; 1. The medicine which makes up Onkyuatgtang was 38kinds from the Han-dynasty to the Ching-dynasty(淸代), and up to the present it summed into 43kinds. 2. Onkywgtang which was composed of different kinds of medicine was 10types from the Hun-dynasty to the Chung-dynasty and added 11types in modern days. Therefore it sumed up into 21types. 3. No Onkyuatgtang is seen more common than that of the same composition as in ${\\ll}$Keumkweyeuliak${\gg}$ in successive literature. The next is the same constituents as in ${\\ll}$Buinyangbangdaejeun(婦人良方大全)${\gg}$ Others were rare. 4. Onkywgtang in ${\\ll}$Keumkweyeuliak${\gg}$ was used to treat cold syndrome of the penetration and conception vessles or uterus of deficiency type(衛任 胞宮의 虛寒) and that in Buinyangbangdaejeun was for cold syndrome of the penetration and conception vessels or uterus of excess type(衛任 胞宮의 虛寒). 5. Other names of Ohylmgtang in ${\\ll}$Keumkweyeuliak${\gg}$ were Daeonrkyungtang(大溫經湯), Chokyungsan(調經散), Chokyungtang(調經湯), Chunkeumchokyungtang(千金調經湯), Chunkeumchokyungsan(千金調經散) and Soonkyungtang(小溫經湯), And the prescription in the same constitution was also called Chokyungonkyungtang(仲景溫經湯), Keumkweonkyungtang(千궤溫經湯) and Sibbionkyunghwan(十二溫經丸). 6. Onkywgtang in ${\\ll}$Buinyangbongdaejeun${\gg}$ of Yangbangonkyungtang(良方溫經湯), Jimionkyungtang(指迷溫經湯), Kyunkwionkyungtang(穹歸溫經湯) and Jinssionkyungtang(陣氏溫經湯).

일반역행예을 이용한 자유망조정 (Free Network Adjustment by Application of Generalized Inverse)

  • 본 논문은 g-inverse를 이용한 자유망 조정으로서, 미지 Parameter를 이용한 해법에 있어서는 모든점의 좌표가 동일경중률에 의한 Parameter로 처리되기 때문에 정규방정식의 행열이 특이행열이 된다. 이 논문은 망조정에 있어서의 특이행열과 삼변측양에 있어서 기존방법의 정확도 분석 및 삼변자유망조정의 문제를 검토하였다. 본 삼변자유망 조정의 경우에 있어서는 조정좌표의 최소제곱근 오차가 심다변망에서 35.6%, 사변망에서 50.5%로 정확도가 향상되었고, 오차구원의 요소에 있어서도 최소제곱근오차가 유심다변망에서 a=24.5%, b=5.0%, 사변망에서는 a=42.6%, b=49.2%로 감소하였다. 따라서 자유망조정 방법의 적용은 기준점의 수평위치결정에 있어서 상대오차의 개선을 위하여 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

자궁경부암세포(子宮經部癌細胞)(HeLa cell)에서 유향(乳香) 세포고사(細胞枯死) 기전(機轉) 연구(硏究) (Olibanum-induced Apoptosis Signaling in Human Cervical Carcinoma HeLa Cells)

  • Purpose : To address the ability of Olibanum to induce cell death, we investigated the effect of olibanum on cell apoptosis. Twenty-four hours later, apoptosis occurred following olibanum exposure in a dose-dependent manner. Methods : We culture HeLa cell which is human metrocarcinoma cell in D-MEM included 10% fetal bovine serum(Hyclone Laboratories) below $37^{\circ}C$, 5% CO2. Then we observed apoptosis of log phage cell which is changed cultivation liquid 24 Hours periodically. Results : The treatment of BAPTA-AM regulated olibanum-induced apoptosis in HeLa human cervical carcinoma cells. The 24 hr-earlier -thapsigargin-pretreated cell showed the resistance against olibanum-induced apoptosis and the Ru360-mitochondrial uniporter-inhibited olibanum-induced apoptosis, too. It means that olibanum leads to the accumulation of calcium and the resultant apoptosis in HeLa cells. Immunoblotting data also shows that the expression of GRP78, ER stress marker protein, was induced by the olibanum. Bcl-2, anti-apototic protein, was decreased and that the expression of Bax, pro-apoptotic protein, was increased by the addition of olibanum. Interestingly, the olibanum increased the activity of caspase-8 as well as calpain cysteine pretense in HeLa cervical carcinoma cells. Calpain inhibitor-calpastatin as well as caspase-8C/A expression abrogated olibanum-induced apoptosis in the carcinoma cells. The inhibition of caspase-8 regulated olibanum-induced calpain activation but the inhibition of calpain did not have any effect on the caspase-8 activation in HeLa human cervical carcinoma cells. Conclusion : We conclude that olibanum induces the accumulation of calcium and the resultant apoptosis in which caspase-8 and calpain are involved.

신통축어탕(身痛逐瘀湯)이 난소적출(卵巢摘出) 백서(白鼠)의 골다공증(骨多孔症)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Sintongchukeatang on the Ovariectomized Rat Model of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis)

  • Purpose : this study is to examine what are the effects of the Sintongchukeatang(SCT) on the ovariectomized rat model of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Methods : 12weeks Female Sprague-Dawley 30 rats of weighting 250-300g, were divided into three groups including the sham operation groups(10heads) and overiectomy groups(10heads). then we observed changes in the body weight serum metabolic products and femoral trabecular bone. Results : 1. The level of serum ALP activity in control group showed significant increase in comparison with sham, but that in SCT-treated was significantly decreased in comparison with control. 2. The level of serum GOT in control group showed no change in comparison with sham, but that in SCT-treated was significantly decreased in comparison with control. The level of serum GPT did not significant change among the three groups. 3. The level of serum estrogen in control group showed slightly decreased in comparison with sham, but that in SCT-treated showed no change in comparison with control. 4. Trabecular bone area as well as trabecular thickness in control group showed significant decrease in comparison with sham. Those in SCT-treated showed significant increase in comparison with control. 5. Trabecular separation only in SCT-treated showed significant decrease in comparison with control. 6. Osteoclast number and oseoblast surface in control group showed significant increase in comparison with sham. Those in SCT-treated showed significant decrease in comparison with control. Conclusion : SCT has shown to be capable of preventing and curing osteoporosis caused by old-aged and postmenopause.

온신환(溫腎丸)이 백서(白鼠)의 배란(排卵)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Onsinhwan on the ovulation in rats)

  • Onsinhwan(OSH : 溫腎丸) is used in female infertility, especially due to lack of kidney yang or Sinyanghe(腎陽虛). An attempt was made to evaluate the influences of OSH on the serum concentrations of FSH and LH, Estrogen, Progesterone and the histological and optical changes of ovary, ovary weight of rats. The results of the study were as follows : 1. Blood FSH level increased in experimental group as compared with control group on 7th day and 14th day, which showed no efficacy. 2. Blood LH level decreased in experimental group as compared with control group on 14th day, which showed no efficacy. 3. Blood Estrogen level increased in experimental group as compared with control group on 7th day and 14th day, which showed no efficacy. 4. Blood Progesterone level decreased in experimental group as compared with control group on 7th day and 14th day, which showed no efficacy. 5. In histological observations of ovary, ovulation increased in experimental group as compared control group on 7th and on 14th day, which showed no efficacy. 6. In optically observations of ovary, size and weight of ovary increased in experimental group on 7th day and on 14th day, which showed no efficacy. According to these results, OSH did not influence on the ovulation of ovary in rats.

  • Purpose : This study is to examine the ability of Rhizoma Scirpi (RS) to induce HeLa cell viability. Methods : We culture HeLa cell which is human metrocarcinoma cell in D-MEM included 10% fetal bovine serum(Hyclone Laboratories) below $37^{\circ}C$, 5% CO2. Then we observed apoptosis of log phage cell which is changed cultivation liquid 24 Hours periodically. Results : 1. RS induces mitochondria membrane potential collapse. 2. P38 MAPK is involved in RS-induced death in HeLa cells. 3. P38 MAPK is involved in RS-induced apoptosis in HeLa cells. 4. P38 MAPK reguates RS-induced caspase-3, -8 and -9 activation in HeLa cells. 5. The inhibition of caspase regulates RS-induced cell death in HeLa cells. 6. RS induces mitochondria membrane potential collapse in HeLa cells. 7. P38 MPK is involved in the regulation of Bcl-2 and Bfu in HeLa cells.8. RS regulates the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax in HeLa cells. 9. SR induces p38 MAPK activation in HeLa cells. Conclusion : RS induces apoptosis in HeLa cells via p38 MAPK activation.

귀신환(歸腎丸)이 백서(白鼠)의 배란(排卵)과 난소(卵巢)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Guisinhwan on the Ovulation and Ovary in Rats)

  • Purpose : This study is to examine what are the effects of the Guisinhwan(GSH) on the ovulation and ovary in rats. Methods : 4weeks Female Sprague-Dawley 12 rats of weighting 160-l80g, were divided into three groups including the GSH oral administration(4ml/kg) groups(4heads) and GSH oral administration(8ml/kg) groups(4heads). Then we observed changes in the serum concentrations of FSH, LH, and estradiol($E_2$) and the histological changes of ovary and the immunohistochemical staining for progesterone receptor in ovary of rats. Results : 1. GSH didn't make a difference as compared with control group in serum FSH level. 2. GSH didn't make a difference as compared with control group in serum LH level. 3. GSH significantly increased serum $E_2$ level. 4. GSH significantly increased ovulation in histological observations of ovary. 5. GSH tended to decrease immunohistochemical staining score (ISS) of atretic follicles in immunohistochemical staining for progesterone receptor in ovary. Conclusion : GSH influences ovary to increase the ovulation of rats.

가미귀비탕(加味歸脾湯)이 생쥐에 Immobilization Stress 부하후(負荷後) 혈중(血中) Corticosterone과 Histamine 함량(含量) 및 면역능(免疫能) 변화(變化)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Kamikwibitang on Serum Levels of Corticosterone and Histamine and Immune Response after Immobilization Stress in Mice)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of Kamikwibitang water extract (KKT) on immobilization stress in C57BL/6J mice. KKT decreased the serum level of histamine and corticosterone increased by immobilization stress. In addition, KKT decreased the cell viability of thymocytes and enhanced the cell viability of splenocytes decreased by immobilization stress. Also, KKT decreased the viability of thymocytes and splenocytes in vitro. KKT decreased DNA fragmentation of splenocytes increased by immobilization stress. KKT decreased the population of thymic $CD4^+CD8^-$ cells increased by immobilization stress, and did not affect the population of $B220^+$ cells and the population of $Thy1^+$ cells changed by immobilization stress and enhanced the population of splenic $CD4^-CD8^+$ cells increased by immobilization stress. KKT enhanced the production of ${\gamma}-interferon$ and did not affect the production of interleukin-2 and interleukin-4 decreased by immobilization stress. Also, KKT decreased the phagocytic activity and the level of nitric oxide decreased by immobilization stress. These results indicate that KKT may be useful for the prevention and treatment of stress via suppression of serum histamine and corticosterone level and enhancement of specific-immune response.
