최근 무선 인터넷 시장이 급속히 성장함에 따라 다양한 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠에 대한 개발 수요가 급증하고 있다. 또한 다양한 인터넷 단말기와 플랫폼을 유연하게 지원할 수 있는 확장성이 추가된 XHTML이 세계적인 표준 마크업 언어로 자리잡고 있다. 이러한 XHTML은 HTML에 XML을 적용시켜 재정의 함으로써, 기존의 유무선 인터넷 컨텐츠 통합과 상호 운용성(interoperability)의 증진을 위한 핵심 기술로 인식되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 XHTML을 기반으로 한 무선 인터넷 언어인 XHTML Basic 1.0과 WML 2.0 문서를 WYSIWYG 방식으로 쉽고 빠르게 작성할 수 있는 무선 인터넷 문서 편집기를 설계하고 구현한다. 설계한 XHTML 기반의 문서 편집기는 문서를 원하는 형태로 표현 가능하도록 CSS와 WCSS를 지원한다.

지금의 IPTV는 IP기반 방송융합 서비스로서 현재 세계 유명 통신 사업자들을 중심으로 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 하지만 'IP+방송' 이라는 그저 단순한 결합과 부가서비스들의 제한으로 인해 기술의 비효율성이 드러나 있으며, 주로 IPTV서비스를 필두로 현재 콘텐츠에 대한 유출사고가 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 변화된 새로운 형태의 차세대 IPTV서비스와 더불어 그 특성에 맞게 보안 서비스에 대한 요구사항이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 유무선 통합 환경에서 제공되는 IPTV서비스에서의 안전하고 효율적인 콘텐츠 서비스 제공을 위한 'CAS 적응형 DRM 모델'을 제안하였다. 사용자가 다운로드한 DRM이 적용된 콘텐츠를 안전하고 효율적으로 자신이 소유한 디바이스에서 이용할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

Recently, middleboxes play a key role in many network settings such as firewalls, VPN gateways, proxies, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and WAN optimizers. However, achieving the performance and security benefits that middleboxes offer is highly complex, and therefore it is essential to manage middleboxes efficiently and dynamically. In this respect, Software-Defined Networking (SDN) offers a promising solution for middlebox policy enforcement by using logically centralized management, decoupling the data and control planes, and providing the ability to programmatically configure forwarding rules. Also, cloud computing and distributed Network Function Virtualization (NFV) can enable to manage middleboxes more easily. We introduce SDN-based middlebox management framework in integrated wired and wireless networks and discuss the further issues.

A variety of systems have been attempted for effective urban management. In this paper we introduce the Integrated Urban Management System (IUMS), which consists mainly of an optical line terminal (OLT), optical network terminals (ONTs) and wireless access points (APs), by combining passive optical network (PON) and radio over fiber (RoF) technologies so as to take advantage of both systems. Further, several IUMS services such as a disaster detection and prevention system (DDPS), a bus information system (BIS) and a real time location system (RTLS) we demonstrated in order to verify the employment of IUMS for the realization of a future ubiquitous city (U-city).

정부는 국내산 풀사료의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 풀사료용 기계장비 및 제조비 등의 지원에 해마다 1,000억 이상의 예산을 사용하고 있다. 이에 수반한 보조금의 공정한 집행을 위한 절차와 서류는 매우 복잡하기 때문에 집행 및 정산에 상당한 행정비용이 발생하여 국내 생산 확대의 걸림돌로 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 풀사료는 생산시점의 환경(습도, 온도 등), 수분함유량, 압축압력, 풀사료 품종 등에 따라 품질이 달라지는데 품질기준이 미흡해 유통활성화에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 풀사료 생산이력 정보 수집에 필요한 센서, IoT 통신기술 등은 상용화 수준에 도달했으나 풀사료 생산현장에 적용하기 위해서는 풀사료 수확기 등과의 통합이 필요하고, 데이터에 기반한 과학적 정책 입안을 위한 기반 데이터 축적이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 국내산 풀사료의 생산량 증대 및 유통 활성화를 위한 IoT 기반의 풀사료 생산이력관리 시스템을 개발 중으로, 우선 관리 기준이 되는 표준 데이터를 정립해 DB화(化) 하고, 풀사료 수확현장에서 필요한 데이터를 확보하기 위한 생산이력 생성장치 및 생산이력 수집장치와 이를 IoT망을 활용해 전송하기 위한 생산이력 송신장치를 개발하며 수집된 데이터를 통합 데이터베이스화(化) 하여 다양한 사용자에게 유무선 인터넷을 활용해 정보를 제공하는 웹/앱을 개발 중이다. 개발을 위한 핵심 기술로는 풀사료 수확기에 부착된 다양한 센서에서 생성되는 압력 등의 데이터를 실시간으로 취득하는 기술, 제어용 컨트롤러 설계 기술, 센서 데이터 가공 기술, IoT망을 이용한 실시간 전송 기술, 풀사료 통합 DB 구축 기술, Full Stack JavaScript 기술 등이 있다. 본 시스템를 풀사료 현장에 적용하면 풀사료 현장 조사 시간 및 비용 절감, 풀사료 생산/유통/보조 업무 전반의 효율화 및 투명화, 생산이력제 정착으로 풀사료 온라인 유통 활성화 및 물류비 절감, 센서, 측정장치, 표기장치 판매 및 유지보수 등 농업분야 신규사업 창출이 가능하다.

This paper presents the results of research on developing marine unified communications to provide VoIP service based on marine satellites. With the recent popularity of smart-phones and other mobile devices, the demand for Internet-based wired and wireless unified technology has been growing in marine environments, and increasing interest is being directed to VoIP products and service models with high price competitiveness and the ability to deliver a variety of services. In this regard, this research designed three instruments, developed their unit modules, and verified their performances. These three instruments included the following: (1) a marine VoIP module equipped with an analogue gateway that can be linked to the existing devices used in vessels, which is more than 80% smaller than that of a land system; (2) a text/voice/video engine for marine satellite communications that runs on technology that minimizes communication data usage, which is a core technology for a marine VoIP service; and (3) a unified communication service that can support multilateral cloud-based message conversations, telephone number-based call functions, and voice/video calling between a private space in a ship and shore.

This paper proposes enhanced designs of global service logic and information flow for the mass-call based IN service, which increase call completion rates and optimize the resource in joint wired and wireless networks. In order to hanve this logic implemented, we design a Dynamic Queue Manager(DQM) applied to the call queuing service feature in the Service Control Point(SCP). In order to apply this logic to wireless service subscribers as well as wired service subscribers, the service registration flags between the Home Location Register(HLR) and the SCP are managed to notify the DQM of the corresponding service subscribers’ mobility. Hence, we present a dynamic queue management mechanism, which dynamically manages the service group and the queue size based on M/M/c/K queueing model as the wireless subscribers roam the service groups due to their mobility characteristics. In order to determine the queue size allocated by the DQM, we simulator and analyze the relationship between the number of the subscriber’s terminals and the drop rate by considering the service increment rate. The appropriate waiting time in the queue as required is simulated according to the above relationship. Moreover, we design and implement the DQM that includes internal service logic interacting with SIBs(Service Independent building Blocks) and its data structure.

The elevator system combines various convergence technologies with the development of ICT technology. Emergency call devices which are safety related devices is applied as an obligation of the elevator and those scope also varies. In this paper, we propose an integrated model that overcomes the limitations of existing voice emergency call devices and efficiently manages and manages video call based service structures in VoIP based on wired and wireless environments. This method effectively manages and operates various lift data and video records in the elevator between the manager, the server and the user. And also It is possible to secure the quality of video call in VoIP and cloud service environment and increase the reliability of safety management and enhance various service environment by creating an integrated structure utilizing various data and additional services in the elevator.

In this paper, we propose the converged profile and authentication scheme for supporting converged media services of broadcasting & communications convergence in fixed mobile convergence networks. The proposed scheme supports the management of access, service, mobility and IPTV profiles on subscriber and a function of open API(Application Program Interface) for providing the subscriber profile for the third party service provider with the PUSH/PULL method. The open API is based on a web service and a REST(Representational State Transfer) and provides various services for the third party service provider with ease. In addition, the proposed scheme supports a function of SSO(Single Sign-on). After user succeeded in establishing an access connection, user can sustain the same authentication state with this function although connected access network is changed or IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) service network is attached. We evaluate and analyze the performance of the proposed scheme through the implementation of CUPS(Converged User Profile Server) system test-bed.
