New Collaborative Filtering Based on Similarity Integration and Temporal Information (통합유사도 함수의 이용과 시간정보를 고려한 협업필터링 기반의 추천시스템)

  • As personalized recommendation of products and services is rapidly growing in importance, a number of studies provided fundamental knowledge and techniques for developing recommendation systems. Among them, the CF technique has been most widely used and has proven to be useful in many practices. However, current collaborative filtering (CF) technique has still considerable rooms for improving the effectiveness of recommendation systems: 1) a similarity function most systems use to find so-called like-minded people is not well defined in that similarity is computed from a single perspective of similarity concept; and 2) temporal information that contains the changing preference of customers needs to be taken into account when making recommendations. We hypothesize that integration of multiple aspects of similarity and utilization of temporal information will improve the accuracy of recommendations. The objective of this paper is to test the hypothesis through a series of experiments using MovieLens data. The experimental results show that the proposed recommendation system highly outperforms the conventional CF-based systems, confirming our hypothesis.

The Effect of Web Interactivity of e-Brand on Relationship Quality and Customer Loyalty (e-브랜드에 있어서 웹 상호작용성이 관계품질과 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was to identify the determinants of web interactivity and investigate the structural relationships between web interactivity, e-brand relationship quality, and customer loyalty. For these purposes, the authors developed several hypotheses and collected the data from 268 users of Internet site. The data was analyzed with LISREL 8.5. The findings and summary are as follows. First. control had a significantly positive effect on satisfaction. Second, two-way communications had not an effect on satisfaction and trust. Third, responsiveness had a significantly positive effect on satisfaction and customer loyalty. Fourth, satisfaction had a significantly positive effect on trust and customer loyalty. Finally, trust had a significantly positive effect on customer loyalty. At the end of this paper, the managerial and theoretical implications, limitations and further research directions were suggested.

  • 전자계 및 열/유동 해석 프로그램을 활용한 수치해석적 방법으로 변압기 외함의 자계손실과 온도상승을 계산하는 경우, 많은 시간이 소요되기 때문에, 설계 또는 고객 요구시 신속한 대응이 어렵다. 따라서 3차원 간이 계산법을 정립하여 신속 정확한 해석적 방법으로 접근할 필요가 있었다, 본 연구에서는 권선의 누설자속에 의해 발생하는 변압기 외함의 자계손실을 계산하고 이에 따른 온도상승을 추정하고자 하였다. 또한, 실제 변압기의 온도상승 시험을 통해 온도상승 계산 결과의 정확성을 검증하고자 하였다.

  • 최근 들어 기업들은 고객의 다양한 요구에 대해 고품질의 제품으로 신속하게 대응해야 하는 현실에 직면하여 새로운 비즈니스 환경을 요구하고 있다. 즉, 기업의 모든 활동을 자사의 조직만으로 수행하는 것이 아니라 인터넷을 통한 사이버 공간 상에서 우수한 파트너를 찾아 가상의 팀을 이루는 가상기업 환경을 필요로 한다. 이러한 환경 하에서는 기업간의 관계가 유동적이며 수평적으로 전환되어 협업의 중요성이 매우 커지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 전 세계에 퍼져 있는 가상의 기업들이 제품의 생명주기동안 협업을 위해 요구되는 효율적인 정보 교환 및 공유 기능을 지원하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • This study is the basic data on how much the relocation of military unit influenced to local economy based on the survey targeting local merchants in order to analyze the impact on local economy by the relocation of military unit. That is, this study has actually verified the impact of "sales volume factor, floating population factor, regular customers factor" so questionnaires were distributed and collected targeting local merchants. Research results The impact before and after the relocation of army division 35 was verified to be meaningful and practical. This study verified that the relocation of army division 35 has influence the local economy, more research of impact on the local economy by the relocation of military unit shall be continued.

The Effects of Business Startup Attributes on the Overconfidence of Business Startup and Entrepreneur's Attitude in Foodservice Industry (외식산업 창업속성이 창업 과잉자신감과 창업자 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of business startup attributes on the overconfidence of business startup and entrepreneur's attitude in foodservice industry. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 300 entrepreneurs in the foodservice industry through October 1 to October 30, 2012. The results were as follows. First, entrepreneur's characteristics, funds for business startup, locations and products had a statistically significant positive effect on the overconfidence of business startup(p<.05). Second, funds for business startup, locations and products had a statistically significant positive effect on entrepreneurs' attitude(p<.01). Third, the overconfidence of business startup had a statistically significant positive effect on entrepreneurs' attitude(p<.001). The findings stated above mean that knowledge or experience related to specialized management mind as entrepreneur's characteristic factors are just as important, and customers' use and choice of restaurants are also connected to stable management when the floating population of them are located to a suitable place in combination with product characteristics in enough financing and preparation based on this, showing entrepreneur's positive attitude through stable management along with confidence.

A Study on the Thermal Flow Analysis for Heat Performance Improvement of a Wireless Power Charger (열 유동해석을 통한 무선충전기 발열 성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In automotive application, customers are demanding high efficiency and various functions for convenience. The demand for these automotive applications is steadily increasing. In this study, it has been studied the analysis of heat flow to improve the PCB(printed circuit board) heating performance of WPC (wireless power charger) recently developed for convenience. The charging performance of the wireless charger has been reduced due to power dissipation and thermal resistance of PCB. Therefore, it has been proposed optimal PCB design, layout and position of electronic parts through the simulation of heat flow analysis and PCB design was analyzed and decided at each design stage. Then, the experimental test is performed to verify the consistency of the analysis results under actual environmental conditions. In this paper, The PCB modeling and heat flow simulation in transient response were performed using HyperLynx Thermal and FloTHERM. In addition, the measurement was performed using infrared thermal imaging camera and used to verify the analysis results. In the final comparison, the error between analysis and experiment was found to be less than 10 % and the heating performance of PCB was also improved.

Tag-free Indoor Positioning System Using Wireless Infrared and Ultrasonic Sensor Grid (적외선 및 초음파센서 그리드를 활용한 태그가 없는 실내 위치식별 시스템)

  • In the most IPS (Indoor Positioning System), it is available to specify the user's movement by sending a specific signal from a tag such as a beacon to multiple receivers. This method is very efficiently used in places where the number of people is limited. On the other hand, in large commercial facilities, it is nearly difficult to apply the existing IPS method because it is necessary to attach a tag to each customer. In this paper, we propose a system that uses an external sensor grid to identify people's movement without using tags. Each sensor node uses both an ultrasonic sensor and an infrared sensor to monitor people's movements and sends collected data to the main server through wireless transmission for easy system maintenance. The operation was verified using the FPGA board, and we designed a VLSI circuit in 180nm process.

  • 전력선 가입자망은 그 잠재적인 활용도가 매우 높아 국내외 전력 회사들의 관심도가 매우 높아지고 있다. 기존의 단순한 전력 공급만을 목적으로 하던 수용가의 전력선을 통신망으로 이용하면 전기 이용은 물론 정보가전기기, 컴퓨터 기기 등의 홈 네트워킹, 홈 오토메이션 및 인터넷 통신이 가능하게 됨으로써 관련 업종의 경쟁력 제고와 전력 사용기기를 최적 제어함으로써 가정의 편리성과 에너지 효율을 극대화 할 수 있다. 또한 전력선망을 보유한 전력회사에서는 원격 수요관리, 검침 및 자동화 기술을 통하여 보다 효율적인 전력 운영과 수용가 이익을 증대화 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신을 이용하여 원격검침, 수요관리, 고객 관리 및 전력 정보 제공, 심야전력 관리 및 감시 등의 다양한 서비스를 경제적으로 제공하기 위하여 우리나라 실정에 맞는 전력부가 서비스 시스템의 주요 기기들을 설계하고 개발한다.

  • Now, the Korean footwear industry needs the concrete enhancement of its competitive edge for regaining of its previous well known reputation. For this purpose, this study emphasizes the cooperation between the members through the supply chain of Korean footwear industry, as a c-SCM(Collaborative Supply Chain Management) by aid of information system. The key issue will be how well to coordinate operations flow not only through internal process stages, but also through entire external supply chain stages. In other words, the target goal must be the system optimization through the entire supply chain beyond the local optimization of internal supply chain process. We, at first, analyze the traditional structure of supply chain in Korean footwear industry and find out critical problems, and then, we develop the collaborative information framework in conjunction with several collaborative process modules. The suggested collaborative production & supply planning system was designed for sharing information and it is based on ebXML(electronic business eXtensible Markup Language) framework. In this way, the enhancement of the efficiency and competitiveness can be expected through the synergy effect of coordination of information and material flow, the reduction of lead times, and production costs.
