본 논문에서는 공장자동화, 우주로보트, 심해 자동차 등 여러 응용분야에서 새롭게 대두되는 고자치 시스템의 접근방법들과 시스템적인 개념들을 소개하였다. 이 분야에서의 주된 관심사는 상위계층의 기호적 모델과 하위계층의 도역학적(제어이론적) 모델간의 체계적 통합에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 즉, 프랜닝, 작동, 고장진단 및 수리 등과 같은 지능적 기능들을 제공할 수 있는 여러 계층의 동역학적 및 기호적 모델들의 유기적인 포괄 및 추상화에 의해서만 현존하는 다계층 제어 및 정보구조를 확장해 나갈 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 고자치 시스템의 디자인을 위해서는 여러 분야의 팀단위의 노력이 경주되어야만 할 것이다. 디자인상의 난제로는 인간과 로보트간의 기능적 분할 그리고 상위화 하위간의 자동화를 위한 역할 분담등을 들 수 있다.

테크놀로지의 발전과 밀접한 관계 속에서 이어져온 디자인의 역사는 디지털 혁명이라는 이름으로 산업혁명에 버금가는 디자인의 혁신과 새로운 역할을 요구하고 있으며, 전통적 인 삶과 생활의 모습의 변화를 이루고 있다. 이러한 시대에 공간에 대한 다양한 새로운 개념과 체계를 이해하여야 하는데 여 기에 작용하는 주요 변인요소는 디지털기기와 생활양식에 의한 물리적 요소와 디지털 적인 공간적 추상성에 근거한 감성적 요소로 나눌 수 있다. 공간 디자인에 있어 이 두 가지 요소는 연구테마의 중심이 되고 있다. 새로운 패러다임에 맞는 디자인 기법과 방법론이 합리적으로 디자인에 도입되면 디자인의 효율과 성과를 높일 수 있으며, 이러한 측면에서 공간디자인 분야에서 다양한 시도가 진행 중이다. 본 연구는 이러한 시도들을 공간 디자인(교육)에 적용하기 위한 연구로서 공간디자인에 디지털 테크놀로지를 적용하는 다양한 방식과 접근방식을 연구하여 공간 디자인의 관점에서 가상의 공간의 의미와 역할을 규정하고 그 기능적 인 상호 작용성에 대한 분석을 주목적으로 한다. 이를 통해 이미 광범위하게 활용되고 있는 사이버스페이스와 전통적인 공간 디자인의 유기적인 통합과 발전을 모색하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is exploring the expressional characteristics of organic fashion design different from the past by analyzing the expressional characteristics of organic fashion design dependent on the digital paradigm and simultaneously suggesting the theoretical data required to understand the changing trend of organic design in relation to the paradigm of the age. The results of the research is as follows; The expressional characteristics of organic fashion design according to the digital age appeared to have same aspects. Pluralism respecting multi-culture, hybrid of multi-meaning image, circulation that can consistently circulated, non-hierarchical post-structure, de-boundary through dissolution of genres, digital nomad considering mobility, human centered through significant sensitivity, de-materialization of assimilation between reality and non-reality, conceptualization given the concept of designer, technology combining with digital technology. This study found that organic fashion design in the digital age has the same conceptual context as periodical paradigm freely circulating consistently by organically combining each individual. This can be understood as the trend of design implied in conceptual context that organic fashion design requires periodical paradigm.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the design principles of organic integration on furniture design by Frank Lloyd Wright. He consistently pursued organic principles in interior design, furniture and equipments. He insisted that every elements of a building can be integrated into architecture as if architecture can be a part of the nature. The study surveyed and analyzed the examples of furniture design in Wright houses from the viewpoints of spacial and formal integration as well as organic evolution. The study finds the characteristics of organic integration on furniture design as follows. He designed built-in furniture as an important part of the house, which seemed to grow up from the architecture design and a part of a building. He also designed and arranged free-standing furniture as spacial device in open floor plan. Moreover, furniture design repeated same geometry, modules, and proportion system of house design in order to integrate Into the building. In addition, material and color of furniture follow those of architecture. Wright's furniture design had changed from heavy forms in his early prairie houses to light and practical shapes in his Usonian period.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 여성 패션 컬렉션에 나타난 밀리터리 룩의 전환적 디자인 발상 사례를 분석하여 유형화하고 특성을 도출하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 밀리터리 룩에 관한 이론적 고찰과 패션 컬렉션 사례 분석의 순서로 진행하였다. 연구 결과는 사례 분석을 통해 총 6개의 전환적 디자인 발상 유형으로 분류되었다. 디자인의 구조 변화로 탈중심 유형, 확장과 축소의 유형, 소재 전체 변화, 혹은 일부 소재의 전환, 마지막으로 스타일링에 해당하는 이질적 조화와 유기적 결합에 따른 유형이다. 분류된 유형을 분석한 결과 총 3개의 특성이 도출되었는데, 첫째 구조적 요소의 재구성, 둘째 믹스매치의 매터리얼 확장, 셋째 스타일링의 감성적 융합이다. 뉴 밀리터리 룩의 전환적 발상 유형 연구를 통해 창의적인 디자인 발전의 원동력이 되며, 패션디자인 전반에 걸친 시대적 현황과 변화를 읽을 수 있는 기초 연구가 되기를 바란다.

디자인은 창의성을 발휘해야만 하는 영역이다. 그래서 디자이너들은 끊임없이 새로운 것을 만들기 위해 노력한다. 그런 측면에서 디자인 작업의 핵심은 새롭고 창의적 것을 만들어내는 것이며, 디자인 작업 과정에서 최종 디자인 결과물에 이르기 위한 '창의적 아이디어 발상'은 디자이너가 갖추어야 할 중요한 능력 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 창의적인 아이디어 발상으로서 서로 다른 두 가지 실험적 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 그 중 하나는 기존에 광범위하게 사용되는 연상프로세스의 중요한 형태인 '유추적 연합'방법이며, 또 다른 하나는 형태문법과 유사하게 작동되는 '형태요소들의 재구성'방법이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 디자이너의 창의적인 형태발상을 높일 수 있는 방법을 찾기 위하여 지면(紙面) 기반의 디자인 방법과 컴퓨터 기반의 디자인 방법을 실증적으로 제시하였으며, 두 방법 모두 아이디어 발상 측면에서 볼 때 기존의 또는 전혀 새로운 여러 요소들이 유기적으로 연합되거나 조합된다는 점에서 공통점을 찾을 수 있다.

In a today, our concerns have been changed from a single material to relation, communication and time. The human life made up of science, technology, philosophy and art of the modern society can decide whoerness by connecting or replacing a comprehensive and many kinds. This one is exhibited in interior actively. The space of the pluralistic world is sustained by not simple and fixed relation but complex and flexible relation. And it is shown as an undecided phenomenon by effecting and modifying each other. In here, the boundary has a phase of undecided relation but at the same time it can make possibility to be abundant to infinity. The purpose of our study with considering the uncertainty of the boundary is to solve the discord of between division and unify of modern architecture space and suggest new way to be mediation and to occupy independent area.

최근에 인쇄전자 분야의 중요성이 매우 강조되면서 직접 인쇄기술에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있다. 최적화된 유기/나노 계면구조재료와 이의 기능성을 최대화할 수 있도록 고안된 소자 구조의 디자인에 의하여 안정적인 효율을 보이는 유기태양전지를 인쇄공정에 의해 제작하는 것은 저가격, 경량의 새로운 에너지원을 목표를 하는 유기태양전지 개발에 매우 중요한 핵심 요소이다. 관련 내용의 기술동향에 대하여 이 글에서 간략히 소개하였다.

This Study is about the tradition of Organic Medievalism expressed in Modern Architecture. The concept of Medievalism is an attitude to revive the social and physical settings on the Middle Ages. The Organic Medievalism in Modern Architecture was to be explained as the two tendencies; one was toward the rational structural logic of the medieval architecture being re-interpreted into the Modern Architecture and the other was toward the organic and fantastic shape of the Modern Architecture, closely connected with nature-friendly and organic shape of medieval city and buildings. The structural logic of the medieval architecture became systematized by the French architects, Viollet-le-Duc and Auguste Choisy. The principle has been applied to the design of the Art Nouveau, Louis Kahn and so-called the High-Tech Architecture creating the aesthetics of its own by exposing the building structure. The other was used as the elements to represent the characteristics of the Art Nouveau architects, and then served as the background of the creation of the avant-garde architecture of Germany. The ideal has been serving as the great idealistic fundamentals by the so-called Archigram and Deconstruction at the late half of the 20th century.

본 논고는 제품디자인 방법에서의 정보수집과 조직화 과정에 대한 정보처리모델을 개념적으로 연구한 것이다 과거의 디자인은 디자이너가 직접 손으로 소재를 다듬어 제품을 만들었으나, 소재가 정보로 전환된 오늘날의 제품디자인은 본질적으로 정보의 수집과 조직화 과정에 의해 이루어진다고 볼 수 있다. 제품디자인이 정보 처리과정이라고 한다면, 그것은 정보 이론의 양적인 변환이 아니라, 주로 정보의 질적인 변환을 의미한다. 본 연구의 초점은 제품디자인에서 소재가 아닌, 용도를 지향할 때 다루어지는 대상을 정보로 전환, 처리되는 모델을 개념화하는데 있다. 기존에는 합리적인 문제해결을 위한 제품디자인 방법의 논의는 <분석-종합-평가>의 프로세스 모델을 기본으로 한 정량적, 정성적, 유기적 방법들과 수단으로서의 모델링에 관한 주로 형식론적인 것이었다면, 제품디자인에서 정보처리방법은 물질을 형태화하기에 앞서, 대상물의 소재를 추상화, 구조화하여 디자인 지향의 정보로 모델링해야 한다. 디지털 환경의 기반 하에서 제품디자인의 성패는 과거 소재에 직접 가공하던 것과는 달리, 무엇을 어떻게 해야 할 것인지 결정하기 위해 정보를 어떻게 다루느냐에 달려 있다.
