In order to take rapid action against malware, efficiency in malware analysis is essential. For instance, it would be helpful to identify and eliminate open-source function bodies or other safe portions out of the target binary codes. In this paper, we propose an tool to create open source dynamic link library files in Windows environment, extract signature information by opensource and compiler version, and compare open source function information to find suspicious function. In addition, the tool can save the information used in the comparison to the DB and use it later, reducing the analysis time overhead.

Extensible Storage Engine (ESE) database is a database developed by Microsoft. This database is used in web browser like Internet Explorer, Spartan and in Windows system with Windows Search, System Resource Usage Monitor. Previous ESE database viewer can display an incorrect result and can't read the file depending on collected environment and status of files. And the deleted record recovery tool is limited to some program and cannot recover all tables. This paper suggests the universal recovery method for deleted records and presents the experimental results through development of tool.

Uroflowmetry is a non-invasive and easily performed method to diagnose the benign prostate hypertrophy(BPH) which is frequently found in the aged men. There are some manufactures to provide a diagnosis tool for the benign prostate hypertrophy. Conventional products, however, render only the result of parameters related with prostate hypertrophy, not additional information such as the uroflowmetry variation and related personal information. In this paper, we developed an effective system for feature extraction of prostate hypertrophy as well as online program for wireless networked database management which can be used under ubiquitous environments and Labview based Window program.

Respond time and processing rate representing how many tasks can be done during an unit time in a client/server environment are generally use for measuring the performance of computers. In this paper, we suggest a window buffer managing scheme based on a window with many of short-term sliced slots where a media stream is allocated and deallocated into them so that it can maximize the utilization ration of the limited buffer on a multimedia server. And we also propose a buffer substitution scheme for reducing I/O times of a multimedia server by counting re-reference time point about a used block and then it can be reused by the next consecutive media stream.

GeoWeb services deliver various thematic information related to geographic positions over the internet GeoWeb services needs to provide efficient accessibilities to geographic contents by interaction with users through the map graphic elements. SVG, which is an application of XML, gives rich DOM I/F for interaction with graphic objects. In this study map servers and client viewers are implemented to serve SVG map available on the fixed mobile internet computing environments. Map servers are made compliant with OGC WMS and WFS specifications and SVG map viewers are developed for both Windows PC and WinCE PDA.

Most of the diagnostic medical radiography are rapidly replaced by digital imaging systems recently. Although with the current transition of analog to digital most of the exposure conditions and parameters are still on the basis of film-screen analog system. Moreover the evaluation of acquired digital radiographic image is not fulfilled normally because of the difficulties in handling the digital raw data. The user friendly windows program for the evaluations of digital radiographic image was developed on the MatLab platform. The program has functions for the calculation of the contrast profile, NPS(noise power spectrum), MTF(modulation transfer function), and NEQ(noise equivalent quanta).

The list of the titles of surveying-related papers and books is updated by adding newly polished paper/book titles to the existing one. A special title-search program is developed for managing and searching the surveying-re-lated paper/book titles, and the database is established from the list of the papers. The total number of papers/books in surveying-related field published in Korea upto now is 971. The number of papers/books published in the specific fields are 206 in the conventional surveying field, 218 in Photogrammetry, 183 in Remote Sensing, 127 in Geodesy and GPS, and 237 in Digital Mapping and GIS. The special title-search program is developed using the Visual Basic 3.0 for Windows 3.1 to be operated in the Window environment. The SQL(Structured Query Language) is used for the searching commands.

This paper is a study on weighted cepstrum used broadly for robust speech recognition. Especially, we propose the weighted function of asymmetric glottal pulse shape. which is used for weighted cepstrum extracted by PLP(Perceptual Linear Predictive) based on auditory model. Also, we analyze this glottal weighted cepstrum from the glottal pulse of glottal model in connection with the cepstrum. And we obtain speech features analyzed by both the glottal model and the auditory model. The isolated-word recognition rate is adopted for the test of proposed method in the car moise and street environment. And the performance of glottal weighted cepstrum is compared with both that of weighted cepstrum extracted by LP(Linear Prediction) and that of weighted cepstrum extracted by PLP. The result of computer simulation shows that recognition rate of the proposed glottal weighted cepstrum is better than those of other weighted cepstrums.

본 연구는 격자기반 운동파 강우유출모형 KIMSTORM(grid-based KIneMatic wave STOrm Runoff Model)의 기능을 개선하고 적용성을 평가하는 것이다. KIMSTORM은 김성준(1998)이 개발한 분포형 강우유출모형으로 포화상태의 지표흐름 및 토양수분상태의 시공간적인 분포를 파악할 수 있다. UNIX C++ 언어로 개발되었으며, GRASS 형태의 ASCII Grid를 입출력하도록 구성되어 있는 모형으로 UNIX 운영체제에서 구동이 가능하다. 그러나 UNIX와 GRASS는 최근에 많이 이용되지 않는 추세로 KIMSTORM 모형을 이용한 홍수유출해석이 적극적으로 활용되는데 주요 제약사항이 되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 KIMSTORM을 윈도우즈 환경에서 운영될 수 있도록 FORTRAN 90을 이용하여 재개발하였으며 주요개선 사항으로, ESRI ASCII Grid 형태의 GIS(geographic information system) 자료 입력, 물리적 침투모의 방법인 GAML (Green-Ampt and Mein- Larson) 적용, 공간강우 입력가능, 정렬 알고리즘을 이용한 계산속도의 개선, 모형 자료입력 등 전처리 기능개선, 계산결과의 자동평가 및 분포도출력 등 후처리 방식개선으로 요약할 수 있다. 개선된 모형 GAML에 의한 침투방법을 적용하여, 남강댐유역($2,293\;km^2$)의 6개 강우사상을 대상으로 결정계수, Nash & Sutcliffe 모형효율계수, 용적편차, 첨두유량의 상대오차, 첨두시간의 절대오차를 이용하여 적용성을 평가하였으며, 민감도분석결과 초기토양수분조건과 하천조도계수가 가장 큰 민감도를 나타내었다.

In this paper we mention the optimization of MPEG-4 VM (Moving Picture Expert Group-4 Verification Model) GA (General Audio) AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) encoder and the design of the decoder for PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) using MPEG-4 VM source. We profiled the VMC source and several optimization methods have applied to those selected functions from the profiling. Intel Pentium III 600 MHz PC, which uses windows 98 as OS, takes about 20 times of encoding time compared to input sample running time, with additional options, and about 10 times without any option. Decoding time on PDA was over 35 seconds for the 17 seconds input sample. After optimization, the encoding time has reduced to 50% and the real time decoding has achieved on PDA.
