Study of Risky Driving Decision Device using DGPS/RTK (DGPS/RTK를 이용한 위험운전 판단장치 성능검증에 관한 연구)

  • There have been various forms of systems such as a digital speedometer or a black box etc. to meet the social requirement for reducing traffic accidents and safe driving. However that systems are based on after-accident vehicle data, there is limit to prevent the accident before. So in our previous research, by storing, analyzing the Vehicle-dynamic information coming from driver's behavior, we are developing the decision-device which could provide driver with Alerting-Information in real-time to enhance the driver's safety drive. but the performance valuation is not yet executed. Finally, this study developed positional recognition system by using the DGPS for pre-developed risky driving decision device. The result of test analyzed with the same that the aggregated vehicle dynamics data in DGPS and dangerous risky driving decision device. If the performance of risky driving decision device is verified by precisely positional recognition system, the risky driving management of vehicle would be effected.

  • According to the accident statistics published by the National Police Agency in 2007, the number of commercial vehicle accidents explains 3.5 percent of the total number of traffic accidents of the year. Compared to other types of vehicles commercial vehicles may provide more serious damages to both driver himself and passengers. Thus, they generate more serious social and economic problems. There have been various forms of systems such as a digital speedometer or a black box to meet the social requirement for reducing traffic accidents and improving safe driving. However, since the current systems are based on the data often accidents happened, there are lots of limitations to control drivers in real-time. Also, the current speedometers provide drivers with only speeds of vehicles and RPM information regardless of actual dangerous drive behaviors. Therefor, they lack of the effectiveness in terms of safety. In this research, real-time information systems for improving driver safety based on automatic risky driving behaviors, and thresholds to determine risky driving patterns were studied.

  • Digital speedometer which is supposed to provide the basic data for analyzing human factors of drivers has a limitation for human behavior studies of drivers, because it records limited driving information including GPS velocities. Besides, Black Box, which is currently being actively commercialized in the market, records mostly vehicles' risky patterns rather than drivers' behaviors. As a result, it also shows a limit to analyze dangerous driving patterns. This study performed a risky driving study for human factor analysis. This study conducted before and after comparisons for real time warning study using a risky driving judgment device. The analysis was conducted based on Longitudinal acceleration, Lateral acceleration, and Yaw rate of vehicles.

발변전설비의 보호계전기술

  • 전기기기의 설계, 제작기술 및 재두의 발달에 따라 근래의 발.변전 설비의 고장발생빈도는 매우 낮은 편이다. 그러나 이들 설비에 일단 고장이 발생하면 손상이 클 뿐 아니라 복구에 장기간이 소요될 경우가 많아 전력공급에 차질을 빚게 된다. 따라서 예상되는 각종 고장과 이상상태에 대비한 보호계전장치가 필요하게 되며 개별적인 보호장치에 적용 여부는 원칙적으로 그 고장에 대한 보호장치의 시설, 운전, 보수비용과 효과를 보호장치를 구비하지 않았을 경우 그 고장에 따른 위험성과 비교하여 판단하게 되나 실제로는 발.변전설비의 종류 및 특성, 용량등에 따라 경험적으로 선정되는 경우가 많다. 발.변전설비의 용량은 대체오 수백 KVA급으로부터 500MVA 또는 1000MVA정도의 대용량기기까지를 대상으로 보호계전기술을 서술한다.

  • In general, FMECA is a technique for identifying failure modes and devices which could result in fatal outcomes. Also it can be used in design or in maintenance through establishing priorities. The purpose of this paper is aimed at improving the driving conditions in advance through analyzing the operation failure phenomena quantitatively with FMECA analysis on the onboard signal system equipped with ATC/ATO, and through deriving the risk factors. This paper suggests an alternative solution for improving the performance of ADU by analyzing a case with FMECA.

Short-Term Impact Analysis of DTG Installation for Commercial Vehicles (사업용 자동차의 DTG 설치 단기 효과분석)

  • Recently, various alternatives for safety and efficiency of commercial vehicles have been considered, and one of the new alternatives is the application of a digital tachograph. In Korea, the installation of a digital tachograph to commercial vehicles was regulated from 2011 and Korea Transportation Safety Authority developed e-TAS to analyze the monitoring data from digital tachographs installed in the order of 100 commercial vehicles. This study performs the potential impact analysis of the DTG installation, which includes a trend of dangerous driving, a trend of traffic accidents and cost-effective analysis, a trend of fuel consumption and cost-effective analysis, a cost-effective analysis of social benefits using e-TAS data. Depending on the frequency of dangerous driving, the participants are divided into three groups; high-dangerous group, average-dangerous group and low-dangerous group. The high-dangerous driving group shows lower km/liter than the low-dangerous driving group by 15% for buses and taxis and by 30% for trucks. About $CO_2$ emission, the difference becomes bigger; 25%, 25% and 42% for buses, taxis and trucks, respectively. Although this study is a short-term period analysis, the methodology will be applicable for the long-term period analysis with larger data.

  • 일반적으로 재해는 물적인 원인이나, 인적인 원인 또는 두 원인이 함께 작용하여 발생한다. 농업기계관련 재해의 원인은 기계의 성능뿐만 아니라 그 기계가 얼마만큼 인간이 쾌적하고, 안전하게 운전조작을 할 수 있는가에 대한 문제에도 직접적인 원인이 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 우리나라에서의 농업기계로 인한 재해실태 조사와 외국선진사례의 분석을 통해 농업기계 작업의 특성을 파악하고, 인간공학 측면에서 농작업 및 농업기계에 대한 분석을 통해 위험요인을 도출하여, 발견된 문제점에 대한 개선방안을 마련하고자 한다. 또한 현재 농업기계에 의한 재해현황, 농업기계작업에 대한 안전지침, 설계에 대한 인간공학적인 지침 및 농업기계 재해예방을 위한 정책적 개선대안을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구는 작업자의 기술 및 상황판단, 시계성, 차체진동 및 의자진동, 의자설계, 캐핀 배치 및 설계, 안전장치 및 보호 장치, 작업환경 등을 농업기계 제조회사가 고려할 수 있도록 하는데 큰 도움을 줄 수 있으며 기계의 인간공학적 개선을 통해 안전한 운전조작을 가능케 하여 농업관련재해의 감소와 재해의 사전예방에도 크게 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

Evaluating Effectiveness of Lane Departure Warning System by User Perceptions (차선이탈경고장치(LDWS) 이용자 만족도 평가 연구)

  • A lane departure warning system (LDWS) is an effective technology-based countermeasure for preventing traffic crashes as it provides warning information to drivers. Understanding the characteristics of perception and satisfaction levels on LDWS is fundamental for deriving better performance and functionality enhancements of the system. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the user satisfaction of LDWS. A survey to collect user perception and user preference data was conducted. Both cross-tabulation analysis and binary logistic regression technique were adopted to identify the factors affecting user satisfaction for LDWS. The results revealed that the accuracy and timeliness of warning information was significant for evaluating the effectiveness of LDWS. In particular, the warning accuracy at a curve segment on the road was the most dominant factor affecting user satisfaction. The outcome of this study would be valuable in evaluating and designing LDWS functionalities.

  • Necessities of a traffic means work a car in the modern society human to an usability of a life is enjoying. On the other hand, the damage by traffic accident increment the human quotient worked as we were in proportion to the vehicle which increased. Passing an examination moves necessarily on an obstacle to suddenly appear at the fronts if a car travels and the vehicles which stopped suddenly. Dynamic passing an examination about an obstacle turn on Vehicle Emergency Lamp to by hand when is unhurried, and can turn off, but to appear urgently dynamic passing an examination in time human is instinctive, but cannot inform an emergency to a back vehicle, and a rear-end collision occurs. A car we synthesize a speed of a vehicle, and this unit analyzes as we use GPS, and to drive runs Vehicle Emergency Lamp to automatic in the situations that shall turn on emergencies etc. If a speed of a vehicle continuously slows down in too high-speed driving or low-speed driving, or we are stopped, Vehicle Emergency Lamp is always turned on. It was built if we rise again as clearing itself from risk, and a speed of a vehicle judges, and we turn off Vehicle Emergency Lamp to automatic. It runs till rear-end collision sensor operates, and by hand reset does Vehicle Emergency Lamp a driving vehicle collides from behind to a back vehicle or when a driving vehicle was overthrown. It is shortened very much to the chain rear-end collision traffic accident that is a traffic accident of large size if we use this unit. And we did authentication through the experiment which a driver was helpful to unnecessary operation and a relaxed safe driving during drivings.

  • 현재 전국적으로 많은 곳에 SPS(고장파급방지장치)가 설치되어 운영중에 있으며 대부분은 345kV이상 대단위 전원단지 인근에 설치되어 있으나 강원지역의 경우는 154kV 계통에 다수가 설치되어 운전중에 있다. 강원지역은 지역적 특성으로 인해 장거리 송전선로가 많으며 전원단이 원거리에 위치하여 고장시 전압불안정에 의한 계통붕괴의 위험성이 타 지역보다 높다. 특히 하계에 비해 난방부하 및 심야전력의 영향으로 최대부하가 대폭 증가하는 동계의 경우 이러한 특성이 더욱 두드러지는데 2007년 동계피크시 부하실적 및 역률을 기준으로 부하특성 및 부하역율 변동에 따른 계통영향을 분석하여 기 설치 운영중인 SPS 적용의 타당성 및 유지여부에 대한 판단 및 SPS 적용 개선(안)을 제시하였다.
