A Study on Development of Internal Information Leak Symptom Detection Model by Using Internal Information Leak Scenario & Data Analytics (내부정보 유출 시나리오와 Data Analytics 기법을 활용한 내부정보 유출징후 탐지 모형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • According to the recent statistics of the National Industrial Security Center, about 80% of the confidential leak are caused by former and current employees in the case of domestic confidential leak accidents. Most of the information leak incidents by these insiders are due to poor security management system and information leak detection technology. Blocking confidential leak of insiders is a very important issue in the corporate security sector, but many previous researches have focused on responding to intrusions by external threats rather than by insider threats. Therefore, in this research, we design an internal information leak scenario to effectively and efficiently detect various abnormalities occurring in the enterprise, analyze the key indicators of the leak symptoms derived from the scenarios by using data analytics and propose a model that accurately detects leak activities.

A Study on Flooding Prevention Scheme due to Sea Level Rise at Young-do Coast in Busan (부산 영도 해안의 해수면 상승에 따른 침수대책 연구)

  • On the assumption of the rise of sea level, the inundation vulnerabilities on coastal areas of Korea are evaluated in different ways. The propose of this study is to find out the influences of sea level rise caused by global warming at Young-do coastal area, and to suggest the prevention schemes against the flooding damage caused by the sea level rise. The potential rates of sea level rise are assumed and with these rates the inundation vulnerabilities are simulated using CAD program. With the virtual maps, as the results of the previous CAD simulation, this study attempts to suggest the flood prevention schemes for each sector of damage-expected coastal area.

기업보안 강화를 위한 취약점 진단 통합관리 체계 구축

  • 기업활동에서 IT에 대한 의존도가 증가함에 따라 기업들은 다양한 소프트웨어 및 하드웨어 플랫폼에서 제공되는 서비스들을 운영하고 있다. 서비스들이 보급, 확대되는 과정에서 새로운 보안 취약점들이 나타나고, 이들 취약점을 악용한 기업정보의 유출 및 해킹 등 보안사고의 발생도 비례하여 증가하고 있다[1]. 특히 다양한 유형의 사업을 운영하는 지주회사 또는 대기업 그룹사의 경우, 사업영역별로 운영 중인 IT 인프라의 보안 취약점이 네트워크로 연결된 타 사업용 IT 인프라에 대한 사이버 침해의 통로로 악용될 가능성이 있다. 이 같은 문제의 해결을 위해 기업들은 사업영역 별로 보유한 IT 인프라의 보안 취약점 진단과 대응을 위한 솔루션들을 도입, 운영해 오고 있다. 하지만 기업의 보안 거버넌스 관점에서 보안 취약점 관리도 전사적인 보안 정책과의 연계 강화, 투자 중복의 방지, 효과적인 관리와 통제에 대한 필요성이 대두되기 시작했다. 보안 거버넌스 체계 강화에 대한 기업의 요구변화에 맞춰 보안 취약점의 통합관리를 지원하는 상용 솔루션들이 일부 출시되고 있으나 기업들이 기 운영하고 있는 개별 취약점 진단 솔루션과의 연동, 로그관리 및 기업이 요구하는 특화된 기능 구현 등의 어려움이 도입에 장애가 되고 있다. 따라서, 대기업을 중심으로 개별 보안 취약점 진단 솔루션들을 연동하여 기업보안 거버넌스를 효과적으로 지원할 수 있도록 취약점 관리업무 프로세스의 재설계와 함께 취약점 진단 통합관리 체계를 구축하고 있다[2][3][4]. 본고는 보안 취약점 관리업무의 문제점을 소개하고, 최근 대 기업을 중심으로 활발히 구축이 추진되고 있는 웹 기반의 취약 점 진단 통합관리 체계의 개념, 기능 및 운영 프로세스를 소개한다. 아울러, 기업 IT 인프라에 대한 보안 취약점 진단 데이터를 축적하여 기업 내부의 보안위험 요소를 사전예측하고, 정보보호의 투자 대비 효과(ROSI: Security Return on Investment)를 효과적으로 산정하는 인프라로서 활용 가치를 소개한다.

  • Anti-icing system can reduce traffic accidents and congestion by quickly removing the frozen road surface area. there is no decision criteria for determining application of the Anti-icing system in Korea. In this study, we proposed the decision criteria for determining application of the anti-icing system based on weather and road conditions, i.e., geometric and topographic conditions. Regional climate survey, Solar Radiation analysis, and dynamic vehicle simulation considered road geometry was conducted to standardize the installation method of anti-icing system. Also, we have developed a software that can be determined an installation of anti-icing system.

  • Domestic slope related measuring system are mainly depending on manual and visual measurements and technical development for natural slopes is poor since the technology is developed focusing on artificial cut slopes. In addition, landslide with a debris flow is occurring frequently due to recent climate abnormally and heavy rains but early forecasts and prevention of disasters are in poor condition. Therefore, construction of ubiquitous sensor network (USN) capable of detecting dangers of landslide for rapid countermeasures is necessary. In this study, new measurements devices and measurement management techniques in compliance with domestic conditions are prepared by establishing ubiquitous based landslide monitoring system and standards of measurement management.

  • Chinese hackers hack the e-commerce site by bypass South Korea IP to connect to the third country, finance damaging a violation incident that fake account. 7.7.DDoS attack was the case of a hacker attack that paralyzed the country's main site. In this paper, the analysis is about vulnerabilities that breaches by hackers and DDoS attacks. Hacker's attacks and attacks on the sign of correlation analysis is share the risk rating for in real time, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green. Create a blacklist of hackers and real-time attack will be studied security and air conditioning systems that attacks and defend. By studying generate forensic data and confirmed in court as evidence of accountability through IP traceback and detection about packet after Incident, contribute to the national incident response and development of forensic techniques.

  • The sea traffic volume in Southwest sea including Wando area have increased every year. However the improvement of the facilities for convenience and safety in port and sea was not enough to meet the increasing demand of traffic and passengers' need. This study dealt with the situations and status of passenger ship traffic system in Wando area. In addition to, questionnaire survey of passenger ship user in Wando area was carried out in order to research the improvement of marine traffic system. On the basis of the result, navigation risks in the area was analysed. The institutional system such as passenger ship fare, enhanced traffic system that can improve marine traffic environment in the area were suggested and examined. The urgent issue was the scattered fishing ground near fairway which makes narrow passage and can cause risky passeger ship's navigation. In the side of passeger ship's operation, the wage of cargo handling was relatively expensive that needed to be improved.

  • Recently, the risk of safety accidents in the coastal zone has been increased due to revitalization of marine leisure and tourism. Because of a lack of regulations about technical and maintenance aspect for safety facilities, the effective measures to prevent safety accidents in the coastal zone have not taken with increasing rate of the accidents. The nature of land/sea and behavioral characteristics of a fisherman/port laborer/tourist/people at leisure should be taken into account properly when safety facilities to prevent safety accidents in the coastal zone are installed, since the characteristics of land/sea and many activities such as fishery, harbor works, tour, leisure are mixed in the geographic and environmental condition of the coastal zone. This study analyzes the current problems on the safety facility in the domestic coastal zone through the domestic and foreign(Hongkong, Macau) field survey. Also the direction of the improvement about the safety facility are proposed.

The Development of Life Evaluation Program for LNG Storage Tank considering Fatigue and Durability (피로 및 내구성을 고려한 LNG 저장탱크의 수명평가 프로그램 개발)

  • The LNG storage tank as core facility of LNG industry is mainly composed of the inner tank of nikel 9% steel and the outer tank of prestressed concrete. To respond proactively increased risk of structure performance deterioration due to fatigue of the inner tank and durability reduction of the outer tank, life evaluation program for LNG storage tank is needed. In this study, life evaluation program for LNG storage tank was developed to assess fatigue of the inner tank and durability(carbonation and chloride attack) of the outer tank. By defining the main three scenarios in the inner tank, the fatigue life analysis is conducted from structural analysis and Miner's damage rule. Carbonation progress of the outer tank is predicted according to thickness of cover concrete by using carbon dioxide contents and data of penetration depth. To consider a variety of input conditions and a reliability in results of chloride attack, the evaluation of choride attack for the outer tank is constructed through Life-365 program of open source.

Technical Status of Environmental Radiation Monitoring using a UAV and Its Field Application to the Aerial Survey (무인기를 이용한 광역부지 환경방사선측정 기술 현황 및 현장 적용 연구)

  • According to lessons learned from an accident of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, it is advisable to make a comprehensive radiation survey by the accident phase for efficient response and risk management using diverse survey platforms. This study focuses on the technical status of environmental radiation monitoring using a UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle) and the performance test of developed aerial survey system based on two detectors with an high energy resolution through the field application to contaminated areas. Finally, the performance of aerial survey at diverse flight heights was successfully achieved by introducing the correction factor to represent the results into ambient dose rate at 1m above the ground.
