  • In this study, a position synchronous control algorithm applied to two-axes pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus is proposed. The position synchronous control algorithm is composed of position controller and synchronous controller. The position controller is designed to minimize the effect of several nonlinear characteristics peculiar to the pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus on position control performance. The synchronous controller is designed to reduce the synchronous error. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is proved by simulation results.

  • In this study, a position synchronous control algorithm being applied to two-axes pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus is proposed. The position synchronous control algorithm is composed of position controller and synchronous controller. The position controller is designed to minimize the effect of several nonlinear characteristics of the driving apparatus. The synchronous controller is designed to reduce the synchronous error. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is proved by simulation results.

A Localization Using Multiple Round Trip Times in Wireless Sensor Networks (무선 센서 네트워크에서 다중 왕복시간차를 이용한 위치측정)

  • In wireless sensor networks (WSNs), thousands of sensors are often deployed in a hostile environment. In such an environment, WSNs can be applied to various applications by using the absolute or relative location information of the sensors. Until now, the time-of-arrival (TOA) based localization method has been considered most accurate. In the TOA method, however, inaccuracy in distance estimation is caused by clock drift and clock skew between sensor nodes. To solve this problem, several numbers of periodic time synchronization methods were suggested while these methods introduced overheads to the packet traffic. In this paper, we propose a new localization method based on multiple round-trip times (RTOA) of a signal which gives more accurate distance and location estimation even in the presence of clock skew between sensor nodes. Our experimental results show that the Proposed RTOA method gives up to 93% more accurate location estimation.

  • 고속 자기부상열차의 추진전동기로 사용되는 선형동기전동기의 구동 알고리즘으로는 추력의 제어를 위해 벡터제어를 사용한다. 벡터제어를 위해서는 위치 정보가 필요하기 때문에 바코드 등의 센서를 이용한다. 바코드에 의한 위치정보시스템은 정보가 이산형이고 통신을 이용하기 때문에 실제 위치 정보를 취득하는데 지연이 발생하여 벡터제어에 영향을 주게 된다. 본 논문에서는 바코드 정보취득시스템의 ldus에 의한 영향을 분석하고 이에 대한 보상알고리즘을 제안하였다. 시물레이션을 통해 문제점을 분석하고 제안한 알고리즘의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper has proposed an algorithm for the initial pole position estimation of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM). The algorithm finds the initial pole position observing the maximum values of a position generated by the new proposed two reference frames for the same force input. So, the proposed algorithm does not utilize the motor parameters and is insensitive to them. Moreover, the proposed algorithm is easily realized because the proposed method is just using PI controller

  • 자동차 라디에이터용 팬과 에어컨 실외기 팬의 경우 영구자석동기 전동기는 자연 상태에서 외부 바람에 의해 임의의 방향과 임의의 속도로 회전할 수 있다. 이런 응용분야에서 회전자 위치검출 센서가 부착되어 있는 경우에는 회전방향 및 속도를 비교적 간단하게 제어할 수 있다. 그러나 회전자 위치검출 센서를 사용하지 않는 센서리스 제어의 경우 외부부하에 의해 회전자가 회전중일 때는 회전자의 위치정보가 없기 때문에 추가적인 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 외부부하에 의해 회전자가 임의의 방향 및 임의의 속도로 회전하고 있는 경우 원하는 회전방향으로 원하는 속도로 제어하기 위한 센서리스 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 회전자가 역방향 및 정방향 저속으로 회전중인 경우와 정방향 고속으로 회전중인 경우에 대해 회전자를 정방향의 주어진 속도로 제어하기 위한 회전자 위치검출 및 센서리스 제어 알고리즘을 제안하고 실험으로 검증한다.

  • The PM synchronous motor drives with vector control have been applied to wide fields of industry applications due to its high efficiency. The rotor position information for vector control of a PM synchronous motor is detected from the rotor position sensors or rotor position estimators. The sensorless control based on the mathematical model of PM synchronous motor is generally used and it can be classified into back EMF -based sensorless control and magnet flux-based sensorless control. The rotor position estimating performance of the back EMF-based sensorless control is deteriorated at low speeds since the magnitude of back EMF is proportional to the motor speed. The magnitude of the magnet flux for estimating rotor position in the flux-based sensorless control is independent on the motor speed so that the estimating performance is excellent for wide speed ranges. However, the estimation performance of the model-based sensorless control may be influenced by the motor parameter variation since the rotor position estimator uses the mathematical model of the PM synchronous motor. In this paper, the rotor position estimation performance for the back EMF based- and flux-based sensorless controls is analyzed theoretically and is compared through the simulation and experiment when the motor parameters including stator resistance and inductance are varied.

  • This paper introduces the time-misalignment error between multiple range measurements acquired by an onboard distance measuring equipment (DME) interrogator and proposes an efficient position determination method that can mitigate the negative effects of the time-misalignment error. The introduced time-misalignment error does not occur in conventional utilization of DME combined with VHF omnidirectional range (VOR). The proposed position determination method projects all the DME range measurements acquired irregularly during an interval to the same time instance where the aircraft position is determined. By the simulation utilizing a representative aircraft trajectory, it is shown that it is possible to estimate the horizontal position accurately without any changes of ground DME facilities.

  • The slotless linear synchronous motor(LSM) has the advantages that the structure of the mover is simple and it can control the trust force ripple by make the magnetic energy in a gap uniform by removing a slot of the primary iron core. Also, the application of the transportation system is becoming expansion because it high efficiency drive is possible and compares with the other LSM as control is more excellent. However, the application of the living field was unsatisfactory. Therefore, in this study, we examined the drive characteristics by the position feedback control for the living field application of the slotless LSM and we prove useful of the controller through load loading and the acceleration changing to get minimization of the speed vibration and stable answer characteristics.
