Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) is a networking architecture that is designed to solve network problem in unstable and stressed environments using the Store-Carry-Forward method. Different form general networks, DTN does not guarantee the end-to-end connectivity, it is hard for the exiting TCP/IP based protocols to normally work due to the characteristic such as large latency and unstable link connectivity. And the condition that send massage without the information of the destination occurs frequently. Thus, suitable routing protocols for DTN are required and being researched. In this paper, we propose a novel routing protocol for DTN utilizing epidemic and prediction based algorithm to prevent the defect of previously DTN routing protocols such as the absence of the holistic view of the network. Proposed algorithm predicted destination using the mobility information recorded in neighbor node's history and utilize epidemic based algorithm when occurred condition without destination's information. This algorithm is enhanced in terms of delivery ratio, decreases latency and overhead in sparse network such as DTN.
This study suggested a technique to maintain an efficient core-based multicast tree using weighted clustering factors in mobile Ad-hoc networks. The biggest problem with the core-based multicast tree routing is to decide the position of core node. The distance of data transmission varies depending on the position of core node. The overhead's effect on the entire network is great according to the recomposition of the multicast tree due to the movement of core node, clustering is used. A core node from cluster head nodes on the multicast tree within core area whose weighted factor is the least is chosen as the head core node. Way that compose multicast tree by weighted clustering factors thus and propose keeping could know that transmission distance and control overhead according to position andmobility of core node improve than existent multicast way, and when select core node, mobility is less, and is near in center of network multicast tree could verification by simulation stabilizing that transmission distance is short.
Data dissemination schemes for wireless sensor networks, where sinks and event targets might be mobile, has been one of the active research fields. For doing that, stationary nodes gathered data on behalf of mobile sinks and the relayed data in previous studies. their schemes, however, lead to frequent query flooding and report congestion problems over sink moving. We propose a data dissemination protocol to solve both the query flooding and the report congestion problem. Our scheme improves the two shortcomings through sink location management. Finally, we prove effectiveness of our protocol through computer simulations.

The aspect of future warfare is NCW(Network Centric Warfare) in accordance with the IT development, so MND have the planning of M-BcN(Military Broadband convergence Network) establishment as the basic system of NCW by the end of 2008. IPv6 address must be managed systematically as a essential element of NCW. In the previous study, it is designed on the basis of the present military information communication network topology. However, it makes some problems. First, it is difficult for present topology to adapt the future M-BcN which is different from the present military network topology. Second, it has defects of inefficiency of route aggregation and enlargement of routing table size. In this paper, we improved the route aggregation and routing table size by assigning the hierarchical address on the basis of M-BcN topology and adjusting the position of field identifying service network. Furthermore, it is proved by the network simulation program(OPNET 12.0).

An agent based geographic routing protocol is proposed to improve the well-known geographic routing protocol-GPSR routing protocol. In the proposed scheme, the agent is selected by sink node which concern about the source node's position as well as agent candidate's state. So packets will first be forwarded to agent and next step is to be forwarded to their final goal- sink node from agent. During the next hop selection process, nodes select their neighbors by considering not only position but also their average available buffer size. This results in efficient selection of next hop node in congestion area, and then increases the successful packet delivery ratio. The simulation is conducted for two scenarios: general number of connections and large number of connections in our map. Results show that new method with agent achieves improved performance in successful packet delivery ratio when compares to GPSR without our scheme.

The most critical research issue in MANET environment is on supporting reliable communication between various devices. Various Multi-Hop Routing Protocol studies have proceeded. However, some problems you might have found when you use the existing link state routing technique are that it increases Control Message Overhead and it is unstable when node moves in CR circumstance which has transformation of using channel and MIMC circumstance which uses a number of interfaces. This essay offers a technique which is based on On-Demand Hello and the other technique which used Broadcast Interface of optimization as a solution to decrease Control Message Overhead. Also it proposes Quick Route Restoration technique which is utilized by GPS and MPR Selection technique which consider mobility as a solution of stable communication when node moves. Those offered Routing Protocol and OPNET based simulator result will be expected to be an excellent comparison in related research fields.
In this paper, we studied the range-free localization algorithm between sensor nodes based on the Radical Line for sensor networks. Routing in wireless sensor networks should reduce the overall energy consumption of the sensor network, or induce equivalent energy consumption of all the sensor nodes. In particular, when the amount of data to send more data, the energy consumption becomes worse. New methods have been proposed to address this. So as to allow evenly control the overall energy consumption. For this, the paper covers designing a localization algorithm that can obtain the location information of the peripheral nodes with fewer operations. For the operation of the algorithm is applicable Radical Line. The experimental environment is windows 7, the Visual C ++ 2010, MSSQL 2008. The experimental results could be localized to perform an error rate of 0.1837.

In this paper, we propose a Clustering-based Cooperative Routing using OFDM (CCRO) for supporting transmission efficiency in mobile wireless sensor networks. The main features and contributions of the proposed method are as follows. First, the clustering method which uses the location information of nodes as underlying infrastructure for supporting stable transmission services efficiently is used. Second, cluster-based cooperative data transmission method is used for improving data transmission and reliability services. Third, OFDM based data transmission method is used for improving data transmission ratio with channel efficiency. Fourth, we consider realistic approach in the view points of the mobile ad-hoc wireless sensor networks while conventional methods just consider fixed sensor network environments. The performance evaluation of the proposed method is performed via simulation using OPNET and theoretical analysis. The results of performance evaluation show improvement of transmission efficiency.

In this paper, we intend to improve the network lifetime by improving the energy efficiency of sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network by utilizing machine learning using K-means clustering algorithm. A wireless sensor network is a wireless network composed of physical devices including batteries as physical sensors. Due to the characteristics of sensor nodes, all resources must be efficiently used to minimize energy consumption to maximize network lifetime. A cluster based approach is used to manage groups of relatively large numbers of nodes. In the proposed protocol, by improving the existing LEACH algorithm, we propose a clustering algorithm that selects a cluster head using a cluster based approach and a location based approach. The performance results to be improved were measured using Matlab simulation. Through the experimental results, K-means clustering was applied to the energy efficiency part. By utilizing K-means, it is confirmed that energy efficiency is improved and the lifetime of the entire network is extended.

The research on multipath routing has been studied to solve the problem of frequent path breakages due to node and link failures and to enhance data delivery reliability in wireless sensor networks. In the multipath routing, mobile sinks such as soldiers in battle fields and rescuers in disaster areas bring about new challenge for handling their mobility. The sink mobility requests new multipath construction from sources to mobile sinks according to their movement path. Since mobile sinks have continuous mobility, the existing multipath can be exploited to efficiently reconstruct to new positions of mobile sinks. However, the previous protocols do not address this issue. Thus, we proposed an efficient multipath reconstruction protocol called LGMR for mobile sinks in wireless sensor networks. The LGMR address three multipath reconstruction methods based on movement types of mobile sinks: a single hop movement-based local multipath reconstruction, a multiple hop movement-based local multipath reconstruction, and a multiple hop movement-based global multipath reconstruction. Simulation results showed that the LGMR has better performance than the previous protocol in terms of energy consumption and data delivery delay.
