Verification Techniques of the Distored iBeacon Information for Reliable Indoor Positioning Systems (신뢰성 있는 실내 위치 측위 시스템을 위한 왜곡된 iBeacon 정보의 검증 기법)

  • Recently location based services is being expanded into the indoor service that can not access to the outdoor location informations, such as GPS. Thus, the research and development of an indoor positioning system with BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) iBeacon technology has expanded. However, RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) that is used as the distance information between the terminal and for positioning iBeacon signal has a problem in that distortion occurs, information such as the signal attenuation and the delay due to the characteristics of radio waves. In this paper, we propose a reliable method of verifying iBeacon signal with the signal distortion problems for reliable indoor positioning systems.

Experimental Verification of Nondestructive Crack Detection Model Using a Few Natural Frequencies (소수의 고유진동수를 사용하는 비파괴 균열발견모델의 유도 및 검증)

  • 본 연구에서는 고유진동수를 사용하여 균열의 위치와 크기를 발견하는 비파괴 균열발견모델을 유도하고 Euler-Bernoulli 보를 대상으로 이 모델의 적합성을 검증하였다. 먼저, 균열위치예측모델과 균열크기예측모델로 이루어진 균열발견체계를 제시하였는데, 균열위치예측모델은 모드민감도와 고유진동수 사이의 선형적인 관계로부터 간접적으로 유도되었으며 균열크기예측모델은 균열발생에 의한 변형에너지의 손실을 진동특성치의 변화와 비교하는 동적 파괴역학적 방법으로부터 유도되었다. 다음으로, 기존에 발표된 양단-자유보에 대한 진동모드 실험결과를 사용하여 균열위치와 균열크기를 예측하고 평가하므로 균열발견모델의 적합성과 적용성을 실험적으로 검토하였다. 대부분의 손상시나리오에서 균열위치와 균열크기 예측치는 실제값과 근사하게 일치하였다.

GIS 공간분석기술을 이용한 산불취약지역 분석

  • 이 연구에서는 강원도 삼척시를 대상으로 산불취약지역 분석모델을 개발하고, 개발된 분석모델을 기반으로 산불취약지역을 표출하였으며, 이를 위한 전산프로그램을 개발하였다. 산불취약지역 공간분석자료로는 NGIS 사업을 통해 구축된 1/25천 축척의 수치지형도, 수치임상도 그리고 과거 산불발화위치자료를 사용하였다. 산불발화위치에 대한 공간적 분포특성(지형, 임상, 접근성)을 기반으로 모델을 설정하였으며, 공간분석은 간단하면서도 일반인들이 이해하기 쉬운 Conditional probability, Likelihood ratio 방법을 사용하였다. 그리고 각각의 모델에 대한 검증(cross validation)을 실시하였다. 모델 검증방법으로는 과거 산불발화위치자료를 발생시기에 따라 두 개의 그룹으로 나누어 하나는 예측을 위한 자료로 사용하고, 다른 하나는 검증을 위한 자료로 사용하였다. 모델별 예측성능은 prediction rate curve를 비교·분석하여 판단하였다. 삼척시를 대상으로 한 예측성능에서 Likelihood ratio 모델이 Conditional probability 모델보다 더 낳은 결과를 보였다. 산불취약지역 분석기술로 작성된 상세 산불취약지역지도와 현재 산림청에서 예보하고 있는 전국단위의 산불발생위험지수와 함께 상호보완적으로 사용한다면 산불취약지역에 대한 산불감시인력 및 감시시설의 효율적인 배치를 통하여 일선 시군 또는 읍면 산불예방업무의 효율성이 한층 더 증대될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유한 요소법을 압전체에 적용하여 계산한 임피던스 파형을 실험적으로 검증하였으며 이를 선형 초음파 모터에 적용하여 선형 초음파 모터의 공진 특성을 해석하였다. 또한 선형 초음파 모터의 동작 특성 및 공진 모드의 타당성을 검증된 유한 요소법을 이용하여 검증하였으며 인가 전압 및 주파수에 따른 선형 초음파 모터의 속도 특성을 뉴럴 네트웍을 이용한 제어법을 통해 검증하였다. 선형 초음파 모터의 정밀 위치 제어의 가능성을 뉴럴 네트웍을 통한 제어법을 통해 검증하였다.

An Estimation Method of Node Position in Wireless Sensor Network (무선 센서 네트워크에서의 노드 위치 추정)

  • It is important to locate nodes in the research of wireless sensor network. In this paper, we propose a method that estimates the positions of nodes by using adjacent node information and signal strength in wireless sensor network. With this method, we can find positions of nodes easily because we use Information that nodes have. And we can make a map for all the nodes because we can measure a relative position for an node whose position is not known based on anchor nodes whose positions are already known. In addition, we can confirm whether nodes are placed appropriately. We confirmed that we can locate positions of unknown nodes with small error through verifying the proposed method.

  • The KML verification tool supports people who want to produce the highest quality KML file. In other words, it validate that a given KML document is well-formed with respect to XML standard meaning, and conform not only to the KML schema and the specification. Then it's only to notify error code line. People who want to use the KML file written by others would like to know both whether the validity of that file and general summary of feature's location, shape, and number. In this study, we recommended the user-friendly KML validator using OpenLayers and reporting geometries and images of the KML file.

  • In this study, a portable x-ray generator was manufactured and a real-time image acquisition system was constructed using the image intensifier from the generated generator. We have developed a real - time position error verification system that can verify whether the artificial joint position is different from the initial image from the acquired image. The template image of the region of interest is extracted from the reference image using the pattern matching technique and compared with the image to be compared. As a result, It is shown that real - time position error verification is achieved by displaying the difference angle. This system is portable type, has a self-shielding facility, and the output of the irradiation device can be manufactured in a small size of 1kw and can be used as a portable type. In case of emergency patients in the non-destructive field for industrial use, It has proved effective for use in small areas such as feet.

A Tag Proximity Information Acquisition Scheme for RFID Yoking Proof (RFID 요킹증명을 위한 인접태그 정보 획득 기법)

  • RFID yoking proof proves that a pair of tags is scanned at the same time. Since the tags scanned simultaneously by a single reader are adjacent to each other, the yoking proof is used in applications that need to check the physical proximity of tagged objects. Most of the yoking proof schemes require pre-knowledge on adjacent tags. If an error occurs in the process of collecting information about adjacent tags, all subsequent proofs will fail verification. However, there is no research that suggests specific methods for obtaining information about adjacent tags. In this study, I propose a tag proximity information acquisition scheme for a yoking proof. The proposed method consists of two steps: scanning area determination and scanning area verification. In the first step, the size and position of the area to scan tags is determined in consideration of position and transmission range of the tags. In the next step, whether tag scanning is performed within the scanning area or not is verified through reference tags of the fixed position. In analysis, I show that the determined scanning area assures acquisition of adjacent tag information and the scanning area verification detects deformation and deviation of the scanning area.

Estimation of Vehicle Position and Orientation on Magnetic Lane Using 3-axis Magnetic Sensor (3축 자기센서를 이용한 자기차선상의 차량위치 및 방향 추정)

  • In this paper, an estimation system of vehicle position and orientation on magnetic lane, which is a parameter of the steering controller for automated lane following is described. To verify that the magnetic dipole model could be applied to a magnetic unit paved in roadway, the analysis of the model is compared with the data of 3-axis magnetic field measured experimentally. The sensor location could be estimated by analysis of the model based on experimental data. For the magnetic lane model merged magnetic unit, the relation of sensor location and magnetic field is acquired experimentally. The proposed estimation of vehicle position and orientation is adopted to automated lane following by computer simulation.

  • In geographic forwarding algorithms, traditional route maintenance requires mobile nodes periodically exchange beacon messages with their neighbors. In beacon message based forwarding scheme, a longer interval reduces the number of beacons needed, but may result in significant location errors. Conversely, a shorter interval guarantees more accurate location information, but induces control overheads.Therefore, the fixed or dynamic interval scheme based forwarding schemes cannot adapt well to different mobility environments. Also, existing schemes result in the uncertainty of neighbor node's position in the forwarding table of mobile node. Therefore, this paper presents a self-adaptive location checking mechanism based proactive geo-routing algorithm for beacon-based geographic routing. Simulation results show that the proposed routing algorithm not only significantly increases the relay transmission rate but also guarantees the high end-to-end packet delivery in low and high mobility environments.
