A Study on the Optimal Pitch Alteration According to the Pitch Alteration Ratio (피치변경율에 따른 최적의 피치변경법에 관한 연구)

  • 일반적으로 파형 부호화법에서는 발성자의 개성과 메시지 정보를 보존하여 음질의 명료성이 우수하다. 하지만 파형 부호화법이 규칙에 의한 합성에 적응되도록 하기 위해서는 운유 조절에서 피치 변경법이 요구되어 진다. 본 논문에서는 스펙트럼의 왜곡율을 최소화하면서도 위상을 그대로 보존할 수 있는 시간영역에서의 피치변경법을 적용하였다. 이러한 방법들은 시간영역에서만 처리됨으로써 계산량을 줄여 실시간 운율조절에 적합하다. 결과적으로 피치주기를 100%에서 50%로 압축한 경우 평균 스펙트럼 왜곡율은 5.62%이고, 피치주기를 100%에서 200%로 신장한 경우 평균 스펙트럼 왜곡율은 4.20%정도로 비교적 우수한 결과가 얻어졌다.

  • In the area of the speech synthesis techniques, the waveform coding methods maintain the intelligibility and naturalness of synthetic speech. In order to apply the waveform coding techniques to synthesis by rule, however, we must be able to alter the pitches for prosody control of synthetic speech. In this paper, we propose a new pitch alteration technique in time-frequency hybrid domain, that compensates phase distortion of the cepstral pitch alteration method with time scaling method in the time domain. This method can remove some phase spectrum distortion which is occurred in conjunction point between the waveforms in continued frames. Also, we can obtain little magnitude spectrum distortion below 1.18% for pitch alteration of 200%.

  • This study proposes a new simulation method of high speed rotor system with the dynamic model using multi body dynamic analysis tool and with a new phase modulating technique as a system control algorithm. A dynamic model of high speed rotor system was built by, ADAMS, commercial multi body dynamic program. The phase modulating technique is a new control algorithm for a rotor system. This algorithm can control system using an adaptive proportional gain and an adaptive phase which are obtained from periodical input signal. To make control system, a ADAMS model and component parameters and phase controller was composed by Matlab Simulink And simulate it.

  • The active phased array antenna system performs beam steering, multi-beam formation and adaptive beam forming by controlling the amplitude and phase of signals fed to each radiating element. In order to obtain the desired radiation characteristics using an active phased array antenna system, the accurate amplitude and phase of the signal must be fed to each radiating element; however, due to various causes, the signal errors occurs in each radiating element. In this paper, a signal error estimation method of each radiating element is proposed. The proposed method simplifies the process of signal error estimation, and can quickly and accurately calculate the signal error.

  • This study was carried out develope a ultrasonic transducer displacement generator through 26KHz and 38KHz of the frequency phase modulation on the ultrasonic transducer. This system was producted a power output generation such as 100W, 300W, 400W and 600W. Ultrasonic power output had a change of time. We made use of a Thiram hydration and detected it measurement by the ACAO method. It was to decide the result of ultrasonic power supply for time duration and the result of comparison in the 26KHz & 38KHz by UV/VIS spectrophotometer.

  • Electrical compound action potential (ECAP) can be recorded on cochlear implant. This study will investigate stimulation and recording to enhance the efficacy of ECAP. 34 articles was used. We analyzed pulse and stimulating condition, artifact suppression, recording condition. The cathod-leading biphasic pulse was used with as short as possible pulse width and inter phase gap for the efficacy of neural firing, stable threshold and preventing neural degeneration. Around C-level was stimulated to apical, middle and basal turn of cochlea. Artifact was eliminated by forward-masking, template-subtraction technique. For clearer waveform, we need to change distance between stimulating and recording electrode, the gain of amplification, number of average.

  • This study performed by a previous research for the applying expert system to active vibration control algorithm. In order to increase productivity and efficiency, high-speed rotating machines become popular these days. They are likely to vibrate and cause machine failure even though they have small unbalance. Therefore, a high-speed rotating machine needs a balancing technique. ISO 11342 classifies flexible rotors in accordance with their balancing requirements and establishes methods of assessment of residual unbalance. But, even if they finished balancing work, they have harmful effect vibration under the high-speed rotating environment. This vibration effect is very small, but it must be removed for the improvement of the rotor's spin accuracy. This paper introduces a new active control method that remove the exciting force by a phase control. For this method, the high-speed rotating rotor was reconstructed by a flexible rotor model. The forces which excite the rotating system suppose cyclic forces, we obtain the responses by numerical method. And then through the pattern analysis about the vibraton responses, the controler generate the control force with the reverse phase and similar magnitude. This paper suggest an phase control method and shows how to improve the rotating vibration accuracy of the flexible rotor dynamics system using phase control method.

  • Traditionally, the continuum-based topology optimization methods employing the SIMP technique have been used to design compliant mechanisms. Although they have been successful, the optimized mechanisms by the methods are usually difficult to manufacture because of their geometrical complexities. The objective of this study is to develop a topology optimization method that can produce easy-to-fabricate mechanism structure. The proposed method is a ground beam method where beam connectivity is controlled by the beam joint stiffness. In this approach, beam joint stiffness determines the mechanism configuration. Because b the ground structure beams have uniform thicknesses varying only discretely, the resulting mechanism topologies become easily manufacturable.

  • This study focused on the design of the reflecting layer of a light trapping system fora thin film solar cell using topology optimization based on the phase field method. Therefore, incident light was caused to propagate in the desired direction by reflecting it from this layer, which is the design domain. The same method was applied to the conceptual design of an infrared stealth structure in near infrared range. The results using the phase field method were compared with those using the density method. The design objective was to maximize the Poynting vector value representing the energy flux, which was measured in a measuring domain to control the reflected wave direction. A finite element analysis and optimization process were performed using the commercial package COMSOL combined with the MATLAB programming.

  • 본 논문에서는 시간-주파수 혼성 영역 피치 검출법을 제안하였다. 음성신호를 주파수 영역으로 변환하고 주파수 영역에서 위상 성분을 조절하여 시간영역으로 역변환 함으로써 피치 피크가 최대가 되도록 하여 용이한 피치검출이 가능하였다. 또한 처리시간을 단축하기 위하여 FFT와 IFFT의 비트 재정렬을 생략하여 처리할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 성능 측정 결과 기존의 켑스트럼 검출법에 비하여 검출성능은 우수하면서도 처리시간은 $84.8\%$로 단축됨을 알 수 있었다.
