Effects of Zoning Structure on Travel Demand Forecasts (존 체계 구축이 교통수요 추정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This paper investigates some critical errors influencing travel demand estimation in Korea Transportation Data Base (KTDB), and through this investigation reasonable traffic analysis zone (TAZ) size and internal trips ratio are analyzed. With varying zone size, the accuracy of travel demand estimation is studied and appropriate level of zone size in KTDB is also presented. For this purpose zonal structure consisting of location of zone centroid, number of centroid connecters has been constructed by social economic index, and then some descriptive statistical analyses such as F-test, coefficient of correlation are performed. From the results, this paper shows that the optimum levels of zone system were various according to the order and capacity of roads, and also shows that the smaller TAZ, the less error in this research. In conclusion, in order to improve accuracy of traffic demand estimation it is necessary to make zone size smaller.

  • The subway is the transportation means most commonly used by the citizens of the metropolitan area along with the buses in the metropolitan area and major metropolitan municipalities. However, satisfaction with the signboards is low and the signboards need to be improved. In this study, we investigated the problem of guide signs of city hall and exchange area with L - shaped history structure for guide signs affecting route finding. As a result, it is necessary to confirm whether the moving distance is long and moving accurately to the desired destination due to the L - shaped historical structure in both the station and the alternate area. In both stations, the number of the guide signs, Problems such as installation position, height, other. In this study, the movement within the subway station is classified according to the space. The type of guide sign installation was defined, and the specific principles for guiding the movement route were proposed. This research is expected to be useful as an important basic data for the types and layout of subway stations.

Effects of Organizational Culture of Dental Office and Professional Identity of Dental Hygienists on Organizational Commitment (치과조직문화와 치과위생사의 전문직정체성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of dental hygienists' perceptions of dental organizational culture and professional identity on organizational commitment. A survey was conducted with 310 dental hygienists working in dental hospitals and dental offices. If dental hygienists experience organizational cultures as having different degrees of organizational commitment, then the type of organizational culture and commitment may be important variables in understanding and reducing the turnover rate of dental hygienists and improving workplace performance. Efforts to form a healthy and positive organizational culture may therefore be necessary. The organizational culture most recognized by the dental hygienist was hierarchical culture (3.39) and the least recognized was task-orientated culture (2.71). The professional identity of the dental hygienist was 3.75 and the organizational commitment was 2.98. Correlation analysis was conducted to investigate the relationship between dental organization culture type, professional dental hygienist identity, and organizational commitment. As a result, professional identity and organizational commitment showed positive(+) correlation with innovation oriented culture and relationship oriented culture. Among the organizational culture types, relationship-orientated culture (p<0.001) and innovation-orientated culture (p=0.006) were significant influences on organizational commitment, and professional identity did not have a significant influence. The regression model was found to be statistically appropriate (F=11.857, p<0.001) and the model explaining power was 14.9%. These results suggest that efforts to create a relationship-orientated culture and an innovation-orientated culture and to reduce the hierarchical culture can be a strategy to enhance the organizational commitment and the professional identity of dental hygienists.

Professional Job Perception and Its Related Factors among Medical Recorders engaged in General Hospitals (일부 종합병원 의무기록사의 직업전문성 인식도 및 그의 관련요인)

  • This study was conducted to the purpose of elucidating the factors affecting the professional job perception of the medical recorders working at general hospitals. The study subjects were 428 medical recorders working at general hospitals. The survey was conducted using a standardized self-administered questionnaire from September 1 to 30, 2015. As a results, the professional job perceptions of the subjects were significantly related to the group of lower age, lower educational level, the unmarried group than the married group, lower monthly income, lower BMI, lower job position, dissatisfaction in work, unfit to the job, considering quit the job, irregular exercise, irregular eating breakfast, lower perception on socioeconomic status of medical recorders, lower perception on socioeconomic status of oneself, and lower future status of medical recorders. In particular, hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that the sociodemographic characteristics and the job related characteristics is highly correlated with the professional job perception. In conclusion, it suggested that the professional job perception of medical recorders was significantly related to the sociodemographic characteristics and the job related characteristics.

The influence of health information source credibility and e health literacy on health information orientation of parents of local hospitalized children (일부도시 입원 아동 부모의 건강정보원에 대한 신뢰도와 전자 건강문해력이 건강정보지향에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of credibility of health information (CHI) source and e health literacy (eHL) on health information orientation (HIO) of parents of hospitalized children. Convenience sampling method of 109 parent whose children were admitted in a children's hospital in D city was used. The hierarchial regression model with general characteristics and characteristics of children for step 1 and eHL and CHI for step 2 against HIO was statistically significant (F=8.22, p<.001). And this model could explain 40% of HIO ($R^2$=.40). Especially, eHL (${\beta}$=.54, p<.001) and CHI (${\beta}$=.21, p=.008), subjective health perception (${\beta}$=.19, p=.016), and age (${\beta}$=-0.15, p=.048) were identified the influencing factors on HIO. Based on these findings, to foster the HIO of parents of inpatient children, credible health information should be given to these population and a approach with eHL enhancement should be considered. And further research that is to explore the way to enhance the eHL should be carried out to suggest the practical application

The Moderating Effects of Birth Rate Policies between Korean Women's Values of Children and Their Intentions for Subsequent Childbirth (기혼여성의 자녀가치관과 추가출산의향 간의 관계에서 출산장려정책의 조절효과 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze whether both childcare subsidy and childcare leave policies have moderating effects on the relationship between Korean women's value of children and their intentions for subsequent childbirth. The data are used from the 2015 National Survey on Fertility and Family Health and Welfare. Both hierarchical multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis are used for statistical analysis. The findings from the study are as follow. First, the ideal number of children, instrumental values, and emotional values have positive effects on the intentions for subsequent childbirth after controlling for background variables(level of education, income, age, and number of children). Second, childcare leave policy has no significant effect on the intentions for subsequent childbirth while childcare subsidy policy has the negative effect. Third, only childcare subsidy policy has moderating effects on the relationship between instrumental, emotional values, and the intentions for subsequent childbirth. These results suggest that policies enhancing the value of children should be implemented in addition to traditional birth rate policies. Furthermore, new birth rate polices are needed for those married women who have a high possibility of subsequent childbirth.

Biotope Type Classification based on the Vegetation Community in Built-up Area (시가화지역 식물군집 특성에 기초한 비오톱 유형분류)

  • This study aims to classify the biotope types based on the vegetation community in built-up areas by different land use and to map the plant communities. By classifying biotopes according to a taxonomic system, the characteristics of a biological community can be well-represented. The biotope classification indexes for the target area include human behavioral factors such as land use intensity, land-use patterns and land-cover types. The type classification was divided into four hierarchic ranks starting with Biotope Class, next by Biotope Group and Biotope Type and lastly by Biotope Sub-Type. The Biotope Class was first divided into two areas: the areas improved by humans and the areas unimproved by humans. The improved areas were again divided into permeable and non-permeable regions on the Biotope Group level. In the Biotope Type level, permeable paving areas were divided into areas with wide gap pavers and those with narrow gap pavers. The differential species of each biotope type are Lindera glauca, Conyza canadensis, Mazus pumilus, Vicia tetrasperma, Crepidiastrum sonchifolium, Zoysis japonica, Potentilla supina and Festuca arundinacea. The results of this study suggest that the biotope classification methodology, using a subjective phytosociological approach, is a useful and valuable tool and the results also suggest the possibility of applying more objective and scientific methods in mapping and classifying various environments.

Supply Network Analysis of Second and Third Outsourcing Firms with E-Invoice at Automobile Parts Industry: Focused to Brake Manufacturing Firms (자동차 부품산업의 전자세금계산서 기반 2차·3차 공급망 분석: 브레이크 업계를 중심으로)

  • Supply network of automobile part is addressed with the e-invoices generated at real time. Automobile is composed of 8 modules. Firms which produce these modules are defined as the first outsourcing firm. Brake is the part of power control module and so, brake manufacturing firm is called the second outsourcing firm. In this paper, the third supply networks of brake manufacturing firms is analyzed with e-invoices and social network method. At the node-level, the third outsourcing firms are classified into 3 categories, interator, allocator and hub with respect to their role at the ego-network of each brake manufacturing firm. At the network level, A2, one of 3 brake manufacturing firms have more outsourcing firms and bigger centrality than the other brake manufacturing firms. Intre-firms trade patterns are, also, analyzed by using the degree of trade dedication with respect to the modes of business. It is shown that trade pattern of retail, commodity brokerage firm, rubber and plastic manufacturing firm are hierarchical trade because their degree of trade dedication is almost near to 1.

The Role of Confidence in Government in Acceptance Intention towards Artificial Intelligence (인공지능 수용의도에서 정부신뢰의 역할)

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss implications for government policy aimed at increasing public's intention to accept AI. Knowledge regarding AI and feelings regarding AI were found to influence acceptance to intention towards AI. Hierarchical regression analysis was then conducted to explore the moderation effect of confidence in government on knowledge and feelings regarding AI. Results showed that as advanced knowledge regarding AI has a positive influence on acceptance intention towards AI and negative feelings regarding AI has a negative influence on acceptance intention towards AI. Feelings regarding AI had the highest impact on acceptance intention towards AI, followed by confidence in government and knowledge regarding AI. Results also revealed that a high level of confidence in government regulations was associated with greater acceptance intention towards AI and a low level of confidence in government regulations acceptance intention towards AI was more influenced by feelings regarding AI than by knowledge regarding AI. Furthermore, religion had a significant influence on acceptance intention towards AI, which provides one insightful direction for future research.

The ecological analysis of asthmatic occurrence in patients : Using the national health insurance data (천식환자 발생의 생태학적 요인 분석 -국민건강보험공단 자료를 중심으로-)

  • This study figured out the influential factors of region-based characteristic factors in our country upon asthmatic occurrence. Research subjects were 2,266,451 people who were confirmed the diagnosis of asthma (J45~J46) among patients in national health insurance for the year in 2010. The influence in each of factors upon the asthmatic occurrence was analyzed through hierarchical regression after comparing difference in asthmatic occurrence by basic local government. As a result of hierarchical regression, the whole asthmatic occurrence had significant difference in infants ratio, $SO_2$,Temperature, basin and dam area. The asthmatic occurrence had significant difference in subjective awareness of health level, $SO_2$, basin and dam area. A case of asthmatic occurrence had significant difference in infants ratio, temperature, $NO_2$ and coastal area. Diverse characteristic factors by region were indicated to have influence upon the asthmatic occurrence by causing or weakening asthma through mutually complex action. Accordingly, a region-based customized environmental health measure will need to be arranged that infants and elderly people, who are vulnerable classes, can be protected and prevented from harmful environment of asthma.
