A Study on the Factory of Design Influencing Purchase Decision-making Factors at Social Commerce Sites (소셜커머스 사이트의 구매결정 요인에 영향을 미치는 디자인 요인)

  • In recent days, lots of social commerce newly emerged business types of e-commerces are on the basis of social network. Therefore social commerce with social network might be powerful communication channel among customers and has suggested new paradigm in transaction model on the internet. In general, major roles of social commerce sites are to promote transaction with high discount rate and/or lots of event and to activate markets of local area. As characteristics of social commerce such as dynamic, rapid, and open, this research was assumed that design factors of sites that are different from existing e-commerce sites might be influential elements in decision making of purchase. This research is to empirically investigate which factors affect purchase decision making behaviors for 20s respondents who are major users of social commerce services. As a result major factor, easy-to-use, affecting decision making factors was identified and this result can give implication to researchers and persons in charge of fields who have interests in commerce site design and upgrade.

  • The web as a sign synthesis text has become a kernel for incorporeal knowledge as well as a communication model through the ubiquitous environment all over the world. The evaluation of the communication model, which is essential for the information structure, acts as an important basis on determining the quality of the web contents. In this study, the development of the progress of the communication of semantic meaning in the construction of the information structure was analyzed in views of the form, the function, and the emotional effect of the rich media contents of the web. The transformation process from the initial access elements through the final selection elements was suggested as the communication model and the effects of the function of the information in the web on the process was assessed by the engineering and linguistic models of Shannon, Weaver, and Roman Jakobson. The results of this study showed that the environments such as the speed, the memory space, data compression technique, and data filtering have influences on the web contents expression and the evaluation of the communication model in connection with the environments is the basis in the information structure.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 양적 증가로 인해 색인어 기반의 검색 방식만으로는 원하는 정보를 찾아 내기가 쉽지 않다. 색인어 기반의 검색 방식에서는 색인어로 나타나지 않는 특징을 이용할 수 없으며, 질적으로 균등한 검색 결과를 제시하지 못하기 때문이다. 따라서 사이트의 여러 가지 특성에 따라 계층적으로 분류해놓은 웹 디렉토리를 이용하거나, 관련 전문가들의 추천 리스트를 이용하여 검객하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 색인어 기반의 검색 모델에 웹 디렉토리와 추천 문서 같은 문서간의 링크 정보를 결합할 수 있는 정보 검색 모델을 제시한다. 특정 질의어의 검색 결과로 얻어낸 문서와 그 문서와 연결된 문서 집합을 이용하여 네트워크를 구성한다. 이 네트워크에 검색기가 제시하는 순위와 유사도, 그리고 문서간의 링크 정도를 이용해서 확률값을 정해준다. 그리고 Ergodic Markov Model의 특성을 이용하여 색인어 정보와 링크 정보를 결합한다. 본 연구에서는 특정 문서가 질의어에 부합되는 정도를 사용자가 그 문서로 이동할 확률값으로 계산하는 방식을 보인다.

웹을 활용한 과학영재 심화 학습 지원 체제 구축

  • In order to satisfy the gifted students' learning desire and maximize the effectiveness of their learning, we constructed the system which would provide them with supplementary activities based on the Internet boards. At the very beginning, we investigated the personalities of the gifted and their classroom environment which they prefer through studying the related references and asking questionnaires. And then we discussed how to improve the lectures, decided to make the basic structures of the web-based supporting system, and designed some teaching strategies for the gifted. which are named 'GIFTED'. Now the web-based supporting system, which are composed of several boards, was established and is being operated now. Each subject has its own boards. The boards of each subject basically consist of Notice, Learning-materials, Q&A, Homework, Recommended Sites. The results we've got from operating our system are following: Teachers and students were generally satisfied with the system while students wanted more materials. Students and teachers had a positive attitude that the site boards of Learning-materials and Homework are being actively used, while the numbers of contents uploaded in Q&A and Recommended site boards are small and they are regarded as being unimportant to the students and teachers.

Clustering of Web Objects with Similar Popularity Trends (유사한 인기도 추세를 갖는 웹 객체들의 클러스터링)

  • Huge amounts of various web items such as keywords, images, and web pages are being made widely available on the Web. The popularities of such web items continuously change over time, and mining temporal patterns in popularities of web items is an important problem that is useful for several web applications. For example, the temporal patterns in popularities of search keywords help web search enterprises predict future popular keywords, enabling them to make price decisions when marketing search keywords to advertisers. However, presence of millions of web items makes it difficult to scale up previous techniques for this problem. This paper proposes an efficient method for mining temporal patterns in popularities of web items. We treat the popularities of web items as time-series, and propose gapmeasure to quantify the similarity between the popularities of two web items. To reduce the computation overhead for this measure, an efficient method using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is presented. We assume that the popularities of web items are not necessarily following any probabilistic distribution or periodic. For finding clusters of web items with similar popularity trends, we propose to use a density-based clustering algorithm based on the gap measure. Our experiments using the popularity trends of search keywords obtained from the Google Trends web site illustrate the scalability and usefulness of the proposed approach in real-world applications.

  • Hyper Text Transfer Protocol(HTTP) is widely used in nearly every network when people access web pages, therefore HTTP traffic is usually allowed by local security policies to pass though firewalls and other gateway security devices without examination. However this characteristic can be used by malicious people. With the help of HTTP tunnel applications, malicious people can transmit data within HTTP in order to circumvent local security policies. Thus it is quite important to distinguish between regular HTTP traffic and tunneled HTTP traffic. Our work of HTTP tunnel detection is based on Support Vector Machines. The experimental results show the high accuracy of HTTP tunnel detection. Moreover, being trained once, our work of HTTP tunnel detection can be applied to other places without training any more.

  • From the early period of web design, there has discussed the need for style guide. But, it has not known specifically 'what it is' and 'how it should be applied'in the actual situation. Most web sites seem to be considered as 'would-be-same or similar'in those impressions. In case of domestic companies or corporations, the development of web style guide has been established, in addition to the trials to adopt Cl(corperate identity) into the web sites. In the universities, with the advent of the era of unlimited competitions among the universities, the need and the importance of web sites has been increasingly emphasized because most internet users, teenagers and twenties, have great interests in the universities and they actually constitute the university societies. But, in reality, the effort to adopt Ul(university identity) into the web sites has left so much to be desired. As one methodology, reflecting the characteristics of the university web sites and the financial reasons, it is assorted that the development of 'web style guide'is urgent. This report explains web style guide and its importance, in addition to the suggestion for the development of web style guide for the domestic university.

  • In web environment, we accept most of useful information visually. Icon is a channel through which we explore information, and we need icon design to deliver information clearly and quickly to users who accept information visually. Studies on icon have been carried out vigorously according to system environment, styles and characteristics of users. This study is on the metaphor icon, and judging from the characteristics of metaphor icon, it is by the phenomena of user's association of ideas. Divide metaphor and simile and analyzed metaphor icon that is searched in World Wide Web to distinguish similarity in metaphor icon special qualify, And I clarified the present condition of cognition by questionnaires asking people if they recognize the function. I also clarified if elements of icon design influence the level of user's cognition by visually comparing icons. The result of comparative analysis showed that different elements make different level of user's cognition, and to objectify it more, I made up questionnaires about elements of icon design and proved it again. To summarize the result of this study, the similarity between function and elements of design increases the level of recognition of metaphor icon proportionally. To improve user's cognition, I suggest designing with elements which materialize functions.

  • Recently, as the number of used trading sites supporting used trading increases, users want to search for a variety of information in real time. This new change has enabled a new type of C2C (Commerce to Commerce) transaction in the e-commerce base. However, since each used trading site has its own characteristics, it is difficult to standardize the whole. Therefore, in this paper, we studied a system that provides the transaction data used by the user in real time and provides the desired information quickly. In this paper, we researched the crawler system necessary for the development of the integrated trading system for used goods through Internet e-commerce, and made it possible to provide information in the web environment desired by the user through the defined morpheme analyzer. Therefore, in this study, we designed a system that provides information desired by users without accessing various used goods sites.
