This research examines how e-PBL system affects 'self-directed learning ability' by applying it to "Science Cyber Conference" participants for 16 weeks. Participants' perception of PBL class process was also looked. After applying PBL program, participants' 'self-directed learning ability' has effectively changed statistically(p<.05). Especially, it showed significant change in 6 areas of 'self-directed learning ability' out of 7. Participants also showed positive response to PBL program (p<.05).

사이버커뮤니티의 발전상은 까페, 싸이, 블로그, 휴대폰 등의 형태로 개체화와 나열형 정보에 주력되어, 정보홍수로 인한 역설적 정보빈곤의 부작용 또한 커지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 나열형 정보의 단점을 극복할 수 있는 공유형 정보의 구현방안으로서, '의미소개체화 기반 게임형토론시스템'을 제안한다. 기존에 나열형 정보의 대안이자 웹 2.0의 모델로 주목받아온 위키(wiki)방식의 원론적 공유에서 나아가, 구성개체 간 상호평가가 수치로 교환되고 그에 따른 가중치가 활용되는 방안이다. 이는 시맨틱 웹과 웹2.0의 통합적 논의이며, 인터넷의 자연스런 발전방향이다. 이 시스템이 구현된 인터넷(Internet)을 포럼넷(Forumnet)이라 부를 수 있다. 포럼넷은 현실적, 기술적으로 개인기반평가에서 개체기반평가로 구현되어갈 것이다.

본 연구에서는 요즘 관심이 고조되고 있는 교수법 학습을 위한 웹-기반 학습시스템을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다. 웹-기반 학습시스템이란 시공간의 제약없이 웹에서의 교수-학습을 효율적이고 체계적으로 지원해주는 시스템을 의미한다. 이 시스템은 액티브 서버 페이지와 동적 웹 기술을 이용하여 학습자의 흥미를 유발시켜 자기 주도적인 학습을 유도하고, My Desk, 과제함, 토론방, 예약 면담시스템의 커뮤니티 등의 서비스를 제공하여 학습자와 교수자, 학습자와 학습자 사이의 상호작용을 지원한다.

In this study, we applied a web-based education system to the teaching-demonstrations of the pre-service teachers and identified the usefulness of the system as a method supporting constructive education for pre-service teachers. The pre-service teachers performed the web-based activities for the teaching-demonstrations, and we interviewed them after the teaching-demonstrations. On the basis of the results, we found three situations showing the usefulness of the web-based education system. First, the pre-service teachers examined the materials on the constructive teaching-learning theories and constructed the related theoretical knowledge. At this point the web-based discussion board supported the environment where they thought deeply and investigated the theories carefully. Second, they experienced interaction with others and the academic adviser in the processes of preparing the teaching-demonstrations. This interaction was supported by web-based discussion board, and they were able to form the practical knowledge related to the planning and building constructive teaching. Third, they reflected on their own teaching after the teaching-demonstrations. At this point, the web-based discussion board was able to facilitate the interaction for the reflective thinking processes. In this study, we identified that the web-based education system could provide an effective environment where the pre-service teachers could learn constructive teaching-learning methods.

오늘날과 같은 정보사회와 지식기반 사회에서는 웹기반교육(WBI:Web-Based Instruction)은 학교 교육에 좀 더 나은 학습효과, 신속 제공성, 시공을 초월한 편의성, 저비용 등의 가능성을 제공하고 있다. 따라서 텍스트 위주의 종례의 초등학교 역사 교육에서 탈피하여 역사 관련 정보 공유, 웹토론을 통한 의사교환 등을 초등학교 역사 교육에 적용 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이 논문에서는 웹기반교육의 개념과 유형, 특징을 살펴보고 웹의 장점을 최대한 살린 웹기반 역사 학습 시스템을 설계하고 구축해 보았다. 또한 시스템을 적용 분석하여 향후 웹기반 역사 교육 시스템 구성의 방향을 제시해 보았다.

CMC(Computer-Mediated Communication) 기술을 활용한 웹 기반의 토론/토의 학습이 최근 학교 현장에서 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 그 중 위키(Wiki)는 공동 주제에 대한 참여자들의 창의적 발상과 비판적 사고력을 신장할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 비동기식 토의 방식으로 기존의 게시판 형태와 비교할 때 많은 장점을 발견 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 고학년 학생을 대상으로 토론 학습을 하기 위한 위키 시스템 기반의 토론학습 모델을 개발하고, 비판적 사고력의 신장에 미치는 영향을 조사한다.

In this paper, we investigate a problem with Web-based learing contents and introduce the solving method of the problem. To be more accurate, existing Web-based learning contents were one fixd and uniformed courseware file with a large size and HTML format. Also, They were written files with authoring tools of which depended upon providing a multimedia vender. These learning contents were difficult to reuse among cyber education systems and change the applicable contents to the learner for learning experiences in time. So in this paper, we produced reusable and interopreable learning contents among instruction designers and education systems. They were deconstructed into smaller chunks and added to its properties. For the purpose of this producing method, we used the pedagogical designs for units of reuse. These are just turorial link-more and tell-more and was implemented with CBD method. As a result, The problem of existing Web-based learning contents system was resolved and then the power of understanding about objectified learning content was increased for the learner and instruction designers.

In the environment of emphasizing creativity, computer application instruction model is in demand which is developed for the group discussion, enlarging the range of thinking, and creativity. The purpose of this study is to develop a PBL-based computer application instruction model concerning creativity after researching problems during the use of computer education by group. The theoretical background of class model is PBL, and the efficiency and creativity of class is considered while using web-mind map as the tool for the discussion and data sharing. As a result of applying the suggested model to the students enrolled in the production of presentation instruction, it made probabilistic meaningful outcome where complaint with communication, data sharing, role sharing, difference of contribution, excessive run-time and etc. were reduced.

In this study, messages from on-line discussions of 28 preservice teachers were analyzed based on social constructivist learning theory. After preliminary discussion session for a week, small group discussions were conducted every single week with different topics during 4 weeks. One transcript with most frequent messages in each topic was selected, and a total of 72 messages were analyzed. Discussion topics were the issues related to the nature of science. The Interaction Analysis Model for Examing Social Construction of Knowledge in Computer Conferencing was used for the analysis. Analysis of the messages indicated that 'sharing information' was the most frequent, and that 'discovering/exploring dissonance' and 'negotiation of meaning/co-construction of knowledge' were the nex. However, messages of 'testing and modification of proposed synthesis' and 'testing and application of newly constructed meaning' were found to be rare. This result indicated that students' interaction through on-line discussion did not reach to the social construction of knowledge.

For the sake of activating web-based reading education in the public libraries, This study examine the practical use of web-based reading education and research into its activation. Web-based reading, red the book at any time/where with librarian and user, is to achieve the goal of reading education. The methods are to set up Home page of reading education through Internet, to guide user in various web-based reading materials and reading planning at any time. In addition, It is to be completed interactive action such as book review, reading dicussion through E-mail, a bulletin board, chatting etc. with librarian or user.
