Evaluation of Individual Glucosinolates, Phytochemical Contents, and Antioxidant Activities under Various Red to Far-Red Light Ratios in Three Brassica Sprouts (적색/원적색광 조사 비율에 따른 3종 배추과 채소 새싹의 Glucosinolate 함량 및 항산화 기능성 평가)

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the individual glucosinolate (GSL), total phenol, total flavonoid, and vitamin C content, and antioxidant activity under various light quality condition, mainly focusing on red (R) to far-red (FR) light ratios in three Brassica sprouts (radish, Chinese cabbage, and broccoli). Three R/FR ratio of 0.6, 1.3, and 2.0 were exposed to 5-day old sprouts for 48 h in a controlled environment, and the targeted phytochemical contents and antioxidant activities were compared with three separate control plot of dark, fluorescent, and red:blue 8:2 conditions. Total GSL content was highest in broccoli among the cultivars throughout the respective treatments, and increased with the increasing of R/FR ratio in the broccoli sprouts, while the content showed non-significant results in the Chinese cabbage sprouts. The progoitrin, a major GSL in Chinese Cabbage and broccoli, content decreased by upto 38% and 69%, respectively, with decreasing the R/FR ratio compared to the control plots (fluorescent, red:blue 8:2, and dark condition). The contents of phenol, flavonoid, and vitamin C were lowest in dark condition in all the three Brassica sprouts. The total phenol content and antioxidant activities increased with decreasing the R/FR ratio in all the Brassica sprouts, while total flavonoid and vitamin C content showed different patterns depending upon the Brassica sprouts. These results suggest that additional use of FR is expected to improve the functional quality of Brassica sprouts in different ways.

  • 조류의 배자는 포유류의 배자처럼 모체로부터 영양분을 공급받는 것이 아니라 알속에 저장되어 있는 영양물질로 발육한다. 배자의 발육은 대부분 체외에서 진행된다. 난자는 배란된 후 수정되어 난관팽대부에서 1세포기 수정란이 된다. 그 후 난관협부로 이동하여 최초로 분열이 일어나 배자의 발육이 진행되고, 산란시에는 세포수가 약6만여 개에 달한다. 따라서 수정란에 유전조작기법을 사용하기 위해서는 모체의 난관속에서 일어나는 배발생과 난각속에서 일어나는 개체발생을 위한 체외배양법과 대리난각 배양법이 확립되어 있어야 한다. 그와 같은 기술은 닭 수정란의 배 발생 관찰 및 분석과 유용한 물질을 생산하기 위한 형질전환 가금 연구에 중요한 기술로 사용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 1세포기 닭 수정란의 체외배양과 대리난각 배양에 있어서 수정란의 조건과 대리난각의 조건이 배자의 생존율과 부화율에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 체외배양과 대리난각 배양에 의한 병아리 생산 효율을 제고하기 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 실시하였다. 주요 조사 항목은 수정란의 채란위치, 배자의 발생단계, 수정란의 무게, 대리난각용 계란의 보존 기간, 대리난각의 두께, 대리난각 두께의 감소율, 대리난각의 크기 등을 조사하여 배자의 생존율과 부화율에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 본 실험의 결과는 초기 발생이 빠른 배자가 생존율과 부화율이 높았으며, 본 실험에 사용한 대리난각용 계란의 보관기간이 짧을수록 배자의 생존율과 부화율이 높은 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05). 그러나 대리난각용 계란의 크기와 대리난각의 두께 차이는 배자의 생존율과 부화율에 큰 영향이 없는 것으로 조사되었다.하였을 때 분할율은 68.0%였으며, 이중 12.0%가 상실배 또는 배반포로 발달하였다. 뿐만 아니라 10% FBS가 첨가된 TCM-199 배양액에 난관상피세포와 공배양을 실시하였을 경우는 72.0%가 분할하였으며, 이중 16.7%가 상실배 또는 배반포로 발달하였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 활성화 처리는 ionomycin과 6-DMAP 용액처리가 적합하며, 단위발생란의 체외배양은 보다 적합한 배양조건의 확립이 필요한 것으로 생각된다.icalcium lactate 공동배양은 체외배양에 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.생산하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.4시간에 등급별 회수율이 각각 GI(27.4%), GII(14.7%), GIII(43.2%), GIV(14.7%)로 나타났으며, 46~50시간에는 GI(12.0%), GII(12.0%), GIII(28.0%), GIV(48.0%)로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 미성숙 난자의 회수는 hCG 투여 후 29~34시간이 적합한 것으로 생각된다. 가금의 생산에 있어서 매우 효율적이고 주목할 만한 방법으로 사료된다. 것으로 나타났다.적외선.열풍 복합건조방법이 높게 나타나 이것은 곡물 표면에 원적외선 방사에의한 복사열이 전달되어 열장해를 받았기 때문으로 판단되며, 금후 더 연구하여 적정 열풍온도 및 방사체 크기를 구명해야 할 것이다.으로 보여진다 따라서 옻나무 유래 F는 포유동물의 생식기능에 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 사료된다.된다.정량 분석한 결과이다. 시편의 조성은 33.6 at% U, 66.4 at% O의 결과를 얻었다. 산화물 핵연료의 표면 관찰 및 정량 분석 시험시 시편 표면을 전도

Nutritional Components Content of Oriental Melon Fruits Cultivated under Different Greenhouse Covering Films (시설하우스 외피복재 종류에 따른 참외과실의 성분 함량)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of functional cover film on oriental melon fruit quality under unheated plastic greenhouse cultivation in cold period. The 6 kind of films having different characteristics were covered at plastic greenhouses and oriental melon seedlings were cultivated at 2 regions of Seongju, respectively. The air-temperatures in plastic greenhouses of J-1 and J-2, having high infrared absorption rate, were about $2{\sim}5^{\circ}C$ higher than K-3. The contents of ${\beta}-carotene$ and sugar of fruit showed significant difference between functional and normal films. The sucrose, determining a sweetness during maturation, and soluble solids content of fruits cultivated in J-1, J-2, J-3, and K-1 were higher than those of K-2 and K-3. Ascorbic acid of fruits was highest in K-2 having low light transmission rate and thermo-keeping capacity. There was no significant difference in mineral content among all of cover films. These results indicated that the use of functional greenhouse covering films could improve fruit quality such as ${\beta}-carotene$ and sugar content of oriental melon.

The Comparison of the Effects of Mineral Taping and Standard Kinesio Taping on Reduces Pain and Edema in Knee Joints (노인의 무릎관절 통증과 부종 감소에 대한 미네랄 테이핑과 표준 키네시오 테이핑의 효과 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of mineral taping containing natural minerals powder on knee joint pain and swelling in the elderly. Forty elderly people with knee pain were divided into 20 mineral taping groups and 20 kinesio taping groups and randomly placed in a single blind manner. The study period was conducted from April 6, 2020 to April 7, 2020, and pain and blood flow by time point were examined before, after, and after 1 day of taping. Knee pain was significantly different in the post-test (F = 93.758, p <.001) and the post-day test (F = 93.758, p <0.001) for each measurement point. The blood flow test for edema was significantly different in the post-test (F = 48.648, p <0.001) and the post-day test (F = 35,427, p <0.001) for each measurement time point. There was no significant difference in the effect test result for each group (F = 0.160, p> 0.05). However, When comparing the retention effect after 1 day, the mineral taping group was excellent to the post-score than the Kinesio taping group. In the future, we believe that increasing the taping time and retention period will have a positive effect. It is thought that the results of this study will contribute to the study of taping materials in the future.

  • 일반적으로 안경집은 일회적으로 사용하고 버리는 것이라 생각하는 사람이 많다. 안경집을 주로 생산하고 있는 대동사출금형과의 공동 노력으로 다기능성 안경집을 개발한 것을 소개한다. 일상적인 고정관념을 버리면 편리하고 기능성이 높은 제품을 만들 수 있다는 신념으로 개발한 결과 어린이나 젊은이들이 졸아할 문방구 겸용 안경집을 개발할 수 있었다. 완구는 소비자가 일상적으로 많이 접촉하기 때문에 곰팡이나 세균이 서식하지 않도록 항균 세라믹을 이용하여 항균처리하였다. 또한 상온에서 인체에 이로운 원적외선이 방출될 수 있도록 고안하였다. 단순한 색상의 무료함을 줄이기 위하여 어린이나 젊은이들이 좋아하는 상용화된 캐릭터를 사용하여 제품의 다양화를 꾀하였고, 4개의 조각으로 만들어 어린이들이나 젊은이들이 조립할 수 있도록 하여 흥미를 더할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 소비자들이 선호하는 색을 알아보기 위하여 기존의 안경집을 활용하여 색상성호도 조사를 실시하였다. 젊은층은 자극적이고 화려한 색깔을 선호하는 한편 기성세대는 무난한 색깔을 선호하였다. 또한 콘택트 렌즈를 착용하는 경우에도 안경을 사용하는 경우가 많다. 이 경우 콘택트 렌즈와 안경을 따로 가지고 다녀야 하는 불편이 있다. 이에 착안하여 안경과 콘택트 렌즈를 겸용으로 사용하는 소비자를 위하여 안경과 콘택트 렌즈를 동시에 담을 수 있는 안경집을 개발(실용신안 출원번호:8928)하였다. 이 고안은 콘택트 렌즈를 안경집에 보관하기 위한 것으로 콘택트렌즈가 식염수에 잠겨 보관된 렌즈캡을 안경집내에 별도로 삽입되는 케이스에 수납하도록 구성하여 안경과 함께 콘택트 렌즈를 보관해 휴대하는 안경집 보관용 콘택트 렌즈 케이스에 관한 것으로 이것의 특징은 뚜껑이 열리고 닫히도록 구성된 안경집에 있어서 뚜껑 안쪽에 거울이 마련되고 뚜껑이 연결되는 선단부 안쪽에 끼움홈과 체결홈이 형성된 체결부를 갖는 안경집과 이것에 결합되는 체결구가 마련되어 개폐되는 커버가 형성된 케이스로 구성된다.로 금형설계 및 제작기간을 단축하고자 한다.ere demonstrated in rats after i.c.v., intraperitoneally and orally administration, respectively.   • We investigated the effect of the clay mineral fortified with complex trace elements by specific fermentation microbes on growth performance and a quality of pork in this study. For the declared experimental animal, 80 heads of crossbred with Large White and Yorkshire were randomly splitted into a control group and a test group. Each group were assigned with 4 replicates and 10 heads of each replicate. When 0.3% of the fermentation product of the clay mineral (FCM) was added into feed stuff and fed for 9 weeks of experimental feeding period, the results of the feed intake, weight gains, pH of carcass, lightness of meat color, and brightness of the muscle semimembranosus were similar to those of the control group. However, dressing percentage, reddishness of carcass, and water holding capacity were improved, respectively, as much as 2.7%, 12%, and 10%, and reduced by 6% in cooking loss. In order to investigate the immune modulatory effect of fermented clay mineral, pheripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were isolated and Immune modulatory parameters were measured. The proliferation activity of PBMC from pigs fed the fermented clay mineral were significantly increased compared to control group pigs, and also those results were more clearly observed as activated with lipopolysaccharide and concanavaline A. The secretion of TNF-${\alpha}$ of the FCM group pigs showed an increasing tendency. Therefore it was suggested that the feeding of FCM which was high in cation metathesis and the value of infrared ray, activated the immune responses, and thus the production of the environment-friendly high quality pork without the use of antibiotics would be possible.

  • The possibility of circadian production of plant hormone gibberellin (GA0 was examined in phytochrome B mutant (plyB-1) and wild-type sorghum. GA$_{12}$, GA$_{20}$ and GA$_{1}$ levels were found to cycle circadianly in both phyB-1 and wild-type. The periods (33 h) of GA$_{20}$ and GA$_{1}$ cycling in constant light were longer than normal photoperiods in both genotypes and typical average free running periods in plants of 22 to 28 h. The biological clock was thus shown to function properly in phyB-1. However, circadian regulation of GAs productions were not clear as compared to circadian ethylene regulation reported by Lee (1996). Although, in sorghum, EOD FR treatment hasten floral inititation, the differences in GA concentrations between treatments and untreated control were generally less dramatic than expected. Thus, it can be concluded that FR does not act primarily by changing absolute levels of GAs but rather by increasing flowering responsiveness to GAs.

Developing of Sound Absorption Composite Boards Using Carbonized Medium Density Fiberboard (탄화 중밀도섬유판을 이용한 목재흡음판 개발)

  • In the previous study, a variety of wood-based panels was thermally decomposed to manufacture carbonized boards that had been proved to be high abilities of insect and fungi repellence, corrosion and fire resistant, electronic shielding, and formaldehyde adsorption as well as sound absorption performance. Based on the previous study, carbonized medium density fiberboard (c-MDF) was chosen to improve sound absorption performance by holing and sanding process. Three different types of holes (cross shape, square shape, and line) with three different sanding thickness (1, 2, and 3 mm) were applied on c-MDF and then determined sound absorption coefficient (SAC). The control c-MDF without holes had 14% of SAC, however, those c-MDFs with holes had 16.01% (square shape), 15.68% (cross shape), and 14.25% (line) of SAC. Therefore, making holes on the c-MDF did not significantly affect on the SAC. As the degree of sanding increased, the SAC of c-MDF increased approximately 65% on sanding treated c-MDFs (21.5, 21.83, and 19.37%, respectively) compared to the control c-MDF (13%). Based on these results, composite sound absorbing panel was developed with c-MDF and MDF (11 mm). The noise reduction coefficient of composite sound absorbing panel was 0.45 which was high enough to certify as sound absorbing material.
