  • Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication provides each component (machine) with access to Internet, evolving into the IoT technology. IoT is a trend where numbers of devices provide the communication service, using the Internet protocol. As spreading the concept of IoT(Internet of Things), various objects become home information sources. According to the wide spread of various devices, it is difficult to access data on the devices with unified manners. Under this environment, security is a critical element to create various types of application and service. In this paper propose the inter-device authentication and Centralized Remote Security Provisioning framework in Open M2M environment. The results of previous studies in this task is carried out by protecting it with the latest information on M2M / IoT and designed to provide the ultimate goal of future M2M / IoT optimized platform that can be integrated M2M / IoT service security and security model presents the information.

  • The PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) in material or immaterial guided tracks is operated automatically according to the needs of passengers with the optimal non-stop path from the source to the destination. In recent years, the personal rapid transit (PRT) system, which affords superior accessibility and ease of use, has been spotlighted as a new transport system for the future. In this study, a method for vertical lifting of PRT vehicles was proposed to facilitate interlink with other means of transport and thereby improve the efficiency of door-to-door transport. For this purpose, operation control interfaces were designed and experiments were conducted. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dedicated for the PRT vertical lift was designed to interface with Operation Control Center (OCC) by Modbus TCP over Ethernet. We implemented a 3D graphical PRT operation simulator which can emulate the mixing operation of the virtual vehicles and the actual vehicles.

  • At present, environmental control system of greenhouses related with industrial automation in the korea is composed of on/off-type control machine using a timer in facilities requiring intensive labor. This system, however, makes it difficult for us to find out any status of environmental control system in greenhouses when we are situated in a remote area or at midnight. In this paper we improved a system to monitor status for manual and automatic control by means of PC by replacing an existing on/off-type controller with a display panel, It also attempts to implement DB for information on corps and to provide a user with the efficiency of getting information for plants.

EIA 709.1 프로토콜 기반의 원격에서 응용 프로그램을 구동시킬 수 있는 홈 자동화 제어기 개발

  • 본 논문에서는 홈 자동화 네트워크의 대표적으로 자리잡고 있는 론웍스(Lonworks) 시스템의 하드웨어 플랫폼인 뉴론칩(Neuron) 기반의 노드를 대신하는 새로운 구조를 갖는 홈 자동화 제어기를 제안한다. 기존의 론웍스 해답(Solution)은 8비트 프로세서인 뉴론칩을 모든 노드들이 중앙처리장치로 사용하므로 고성능의 처리를 필요로 하는 응용 프로그램은 구현할 수 없었다. 또한 뉴런C(Neuron C) 언어를 사용하여 응용 프로그램을 개발하므로 C 언어에서 파생된 언어인 뉴런C 언어를 새롭게 배워야 하는 번거로운 점을 가지고 있으며, 뉴런C 컴파일러(Compiler)를 비롯한 LonMaker 등의 고가의 개발 장비를 구비해야 하므로 개발자로 하여금 개발비용에 대한 부담이 컸다. 이에 본 논문에서는 처리능력이 뛰어나며 저전력 특성을 갖춘 스트롱암(SA1110)칩을 메인 프로세서로 사용한 홈 자동화 제어기인 ECONICS를 개발했다. 이 ECONICS는 홈 제어 네트워크를 구성하기 위해 통신 하드웨어 및 ANSI 표준 프로토콜인 EIA709.1 통신 프로토콜 스택을 가지고 있다. 제안된 홈 자동화 제어기를 통하여 기존의 론웍스 노드에서 구현하기 힘든 다양하고 복잡한 응용프로그램을 구현할 수 있게 되었고, 제안된 홈 자동화 제어기의 상업적 유용성을 증명하기 위해 기존의 론웍스 노드들과의 호환성을 확인하였으며 개발자로 하여금 기존의 C 언어를 통하여 응용프로그램을 개발하게 함으로써 추후 홈 자동화 제어기로써 파급효과가 클 것이다.

  • Recently, the actual demand for electricity usage to out of demand forecasting demand appears to be based on the power of Government to address the insecurity is there are a lot of efforts on a more efficient energy management. In 2011, the first major outage, blackout since the current rate of no more than 10% of our power plants, such as power supply and demand crisis is being repeated. In addition, energy management systems, the demand for care and social areas are being expanded. In this paper, Building power supply and wired/wireless router and to optimize the DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Service) for remote control and monitoring device for electric consumption Presonal Energy Management System offers a way to implement it. In the future, remote control and access the user's can minimize the settings for additional research is needed.

  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADAs) is real-time monitor and control systems. SCADA systems are used to monitor or control chemical and transportation processes, in municipal water supply systems, electric power generation, transmission and distribution, gas and oil pipelines, and other distributed processes. SCADA refers to a large-scale distributed system. The supervisory control system is placed on top of a real time control system to control external processes. Emerging security technologies and security devices are decreasing the vulnerability of the power system against cyber threats. Dealing with these threats and analyzing vulnerabilities is an important task for equipment such as RTU, IED and FEP. To reduce such risks, we develop such a SCADA testbed. This paper presents the development of a testbed designed to assess the vulnerabilities SCADA networks(including serial communication).

A Study On Design of ZigBee Chip Communication Module for Remote Radiation Measurement (원격 방사선 측정을 위한 ZigBee 원칩형 통신 모듈 설계에 대한 연구)

  • This paper suggests how to design a ZigBee-chip-based communication module to remotely measure radiation level. The suggested communication module consists of two control processors for the chip as generally required to configure a ZigBee system, and one chip module to configure a ZigBee RF device. The ZigBee-chip-based communication module for remote radiation measurement consists of a wireless communication controller; sensor and high-voltage generator; charger and power supply circuit; wired communication part; and RF circuit and antenna. The wireless communication controller is to control wireless communication for ZigBee and to measure radiation level remotely. The sensor and high-voltage generator generates 500 V in two consecutive series to amplify and filter pulses of radiation detected by G-M Tube. The charger and power supply circuit part is to charge lithium-ion battery and supply power to one-chip processors. The wired communication part serves as a RS-485/422 interface to enable USB interface and wired remote communication for interfacing with PC and debugging. RF circuit and antenna applies an RLC passive component for chip antenna to configure BALUN and antenna impedance matching circuit, allowing wireless communication. After configuring the ZigBee-chip-based communication module, tests were conducted to measure radiation level remotely: data were successfully transmitted in 10-meter and 100-meter distances, measuring radiation level in a remote condition. The communication module allows an environment where radiation level can be remotely measured in an economically beneficial way as it not only consumes less electricity but also costs less. By securing linearity of a radiation measuring device and by minimizing the device itself, it is possible to set up an environment where radiation can be measured in a reliable manner, and radiation level is monitored real-time.

  • In this paper, a prototype of the Bridge-Transported Servo Manipulator (BTSM) system is introduced, which has been developed to do operation and maintenance jobs remotely in a hot cell. The system consists of a telescopic transporter, a slave arm, a master arm, and a control system. Several tests such as a positional tracking, a weight handling, reliability, and operability have been performed and test results are presented. Based on the test results, an upgraded system which will be used during demonstrations of the advanced spent fuel conditioning process (ACP) has been designed.

  • 본 연구에서는 가정 내에서 보다 편리하게 건강모니터링을 수행하기 위한 홈헬스케어용 휴대형 건강모니터링 시스템을 구현하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전문 의료인의 도움을 받지 않고도 일반인들이 쉽게 측정할 수 있으며, 많은 건강정보를 포함하고 있는 생체신호인 심전도, 맥파 그리고 체온을 동시에 모니터링 할 수 있는 다중생체 계측 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 생체계측 시스템은 신호검출을 위한 센서부, 각각의 생체신호를 증폭 및 필터링하기 위한 아날로그 신호처리부, 아날로그신호를 디지털로 변환하여 처리하고, 시스템 주변장치를 제어하기 위한 시스템제어부로 구성되었다. 또한 근거리 무선통신을 통해 시스템 자체에서의 생체신호 모니터링뿐만 PC등의 홈서버 상에서 무선모니터링이 가능하며, 웹을 통해 원격지에서도 생체신호의 모니터 링이 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템의 성능평가 결과 홈헬스케어를 위한 원격 건강모니터링의 가능성을 확인하였다.
