An Implementation of Smart Gardening using Raspberry pi and MQTT (라즈베리파이와 MQTT를 이용한 스마트 가드닝 구현)

  • This paper presents an implementation of a smart plant pot which can supply light and water automatically according to the result of detection on current temperature, humidity and illumination, and deliver the images of the plant realtime by using a camera installed in the pot. We designed a container of the plant pot divided into five layers, printed each of them with a 3D printer, and then assembled them. Inside of the container, we installed sensors, a pump, and a camera. We developed an Android application so that the user can control the plant pot and monitor its state. In communication between the Android application and the Raspberry Pi, MQTT protocol was utilized.

  • In EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) certification, the facilities and equipments have been considered as important qualification for registration of EMC certification business. In future, the certification environment is also supposed to be restricted Strictly. Many organizations have made on attempt to establish, certification environment as a international standard. Therefore, in order to enhance the competitive powers of domestic certification industry, a real-time system which can be measure automatically and remotely the temperature, humidity, illumination, CO/CO2, magnetic field, and human sensing is proposed in this paper. This system can also maintain the appropriate measurement environment by using USN (ubiquitous sensor network). The availabilities are confirmed through the experiment.

Remote Real-Time Uranium Concentration Measurement Using the Nitrogen Laser and optode (질소레이저와 광섬유를 이용한 원격제어 실시간 우라늄 농도 측정)

  • The remote real-time uranium concentration analysis using nitrogen laser, optode, photomultiplier and optical fiber is studied. The optode for the remote collection of uranium fluorescence is designed. The fluorescence intensity at time zero is calculated in order to exclude the quenching effect and the temperature fluctuation and used for more precise estimation. The fluorescence change is very sensitive to the uranium concentration change. The method shows the detection limit of 0.06ppm and the linearity between 0.1ppm and 2ppm of the aqueous uranium concentration.

  • ICT 융복합 사업이 양돈에 이어 양계, 낙농분야로 확대되면서 이 분야에 대한 관심도가 높아지고 있다. ICT 융복합은 환경, 사양, 경영분야에 모두 적용되고 있으며, 이를 원하는 농가에 대해서는 ICT 융복합 장비를 정부에서 지원하는 사업이다. 이미 양돈 분야에서는 활성화가 이루어져 일부 지자체에서는 신청이 넘쳐나는 곳도 있을 정도로 농가들의 인식이 상당히 높아지고 있다. 환경관리에 있어서는 축사내부(온도, 습도, 정전, 화재), 외부(온도, 습도, 풍향, 풍속), CCTV 등의 정보수집 및 원격 모니터링이 이루어지게 되며, 사양관리는 사료빈 관리, 출하선별기, 자동급이기, 음수관리기, 기후변화에 따른 환경관리 등의 제어를 통한 사양관리가 이루어지며, 경영관리에 있어서는 생산관리, 경영관리, 출하관리 등을 통한 경영계획 수입 및 분석이 이루어지게 된다. 본고는 충남 청양군 장평리에 ICT융복합 스마트팜을 실현하고 있는 두꺼비농장(대표 박필수)을 찾아 ICT 종합관리시스템 적용사례를 들어보았다.

  • In this paper, we proposed a smart greenhouse system that can easily grow plants indoors without professional knowledge by using the criteria of factors affected by common plants (temperature, humidity, soil humidity), and implemented a system that can check the greenhouse state in real time and control the device remotely through mobile applications. Based on Raspberry pie and Arduino, the system measures the state of greenhouse in real time through sensors and automatically controls the device. After growing and experimenting with plants in a greenhouse for a certain period of time, it was confirmed that the environment suitable for each plant was maintained. Therefore, the smart greenhouse system in this paper is expected to improve plant cultivation efficiency and user convenience and also increase beginners' access to plants.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 주로 사용하고 있는 광파장인 980nm, 1310nm, 1480nm, 1550nm 에 대한 안정화된 광파워를 갖는 광원개발이다. 내부에 온도안정화와, 자체 광파워 피드벡에 의한 안정화 회로를 내장하고 있으며, 독립적 혹은 동시적으로 4 개의 광파장을 출력할 수 있도록 구성되어있다. 또한 0$\sim$ -7dBm 사이의 광파워를 0.5dB 단위로 가변시킬 수 있으며, +-0.05dB 이내의 안정성을 갖는다. 또한 RS-232 시리얼 통신으로 PC 와 인터페이스가 가능하며, 광출력 상태를 모니터링하거나 원격으로 광파워를 제어할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 온도범위는 +-0.5도 이내에서 제어가 가능하며, 이러한 부분으로 구성된 4 파장 광원은 +-0.05dB 이내에서 안정화된 광을 출력할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구 개발을 수행한 결과 레이져 다이오드의 안정화에 대한 확실한 이론적 및 실험적인 결과를 얻게 되었으며, 현재 확산되고 있는 광통신 시장에서 광통신 부품, 광케이블, 통신망 등에서 각종 소자 및 선로의 광학적 특성을 측정하는데 필수적으로 이용될 것이다.

Radiometric Calibration of FTIR Spectrometer For Passive Remote Sensing Application (수동형 원격탐지 FTIR 분광계의 Radiometric Calibration)

  • In this paper, radiometric calibration of a FTIR spectrometer for passive remote sensing application was introduced and verified. Radiometric calibration is a significant signal processing procedure to retrieve the object radiance from the measured spectrum. The object radiance is measured and registered distorted by the detector's responsivity dependent on wavelength and instrument self-emission. Radiance of two temperature points, hot temperature and cold temperature, from a well-controlled blackbody was measured and used to obtain the scale factor and offset factor which are required for radiometric calibration. For gas phase C2H5OH. radiometric calibration was done and verified through comparison of its emission line width and intensity with the standard spectrum.

Development of Smart Laundry Drying System

  • In this paper, we first intend to develop and introduce a smart laundry drying system for verandas that controls the drying rack by actively responding to climate change. The developed smart laundry drying system receives laundry location information through the app, then detects climate change in real time through data from the Korea Meteorological Administration such as temperature and humidity according to the location information, and automatically controls the laundry on the drying rack in case of rain. It acquires weather information through the Arduino humidity sensor and the Korea Meteorological Administration Open-API, which is used to control the switch bot by the Raspberry Pi. The user interface uses Blynk, and the switch bot controls the laundry. Our proposed system can detect bad weather and automatically control the laundry at a remote location to prevent damage to the laundry.

  • Main machinery in the factory have various digital indicator to display its operating data for the manager. It is useful to control these datum at the remote office for factory automation in order to increase machine productivity. It is easy to use Ethernet infrastructure for remote communication. But most of all machinery in domestic factories still support RS232c or RS485 serial communication way. In this case to control machinery datum on the ethernet base, it is need to change RS232C or RS485 data to ethernet base. In this paper, in order to develop a remote progress management system through the wireless Internet, we show a design method to make easy maintenance by developing the system with both the JAVA language and RxTx Package for RS232c serial communication. For the system implementation, we added the digital indicator connect with a thermo couple to a machine which provide the real time status data of temperature. To connect machines management server program, we set up a convertor to change the RS485 data to the RS232c and also another convertor to change the RS232c data to wireless ethernet.

  • Lately, superhigh speed network infra is developing with the fast speed, is evolved by step that existent appliances are digitalised and appliances are become remote control by being gear to network. Also, gearing in Home network and superhigh speed network infra, control appliances in Internet and research that do monitering is proceed. Therefore, describe about indoor environment automatic control system that use Wireless sensor and Microcontroler in this paper. Because using that electric power, Zigbee sensor and Wireless module, embodied system that measured in the room temperature and use ATmega128 Microcontroler and use each device (temperature, illumination, humidity) back in house and control humidifier, electric fan etc. Can use variously in Home network field by this Wireless sensor and Microcontroler base, and also can apply variously to several industry fields as well as Home network field.
