  • 방산업체는 정부를 상대로, 제한된 시장에서 생산업무를 수행하고 있기 때문에 완전경쟁 시장과는 다른 특수한 상황에 직면해 있다고 할 수 있다. 특히, 정부와 방산업체 간에는 방산물자에 대한 계약방식의 불합리, 사전원가 산정의 어려움 등 계약방식, 원가계산 및 원가관리에 대한 마찰이 끊임없이 발생하고 있는 상황이므로 정부는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 방위산업에도 시장경쟁원리를 도입, 적용하려고 하고 있으나 시장경쟁 원리를 도입할 경우 정부나 방위산업체 모두 경쟁체제 도입에 대비한 제도개선의 미흡으로 많은 혼란이 초래될 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 시점에서 갱쟁체제 도입에 따라 예상되는 원가 관련 제반 문제점을 진단해 보고, 효율적인 원가관리 개선방안을 연구하는 일은 매우 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다고 할 수 있다.

  • The rate of application of the modular plant in the plant industry is increasing, and for the success of the modularization projects, it is essential to develop and implement a systemized methodology across all phases of the project. However, Korean EPC firms lack project management capability when it comes to apply standardized methodology. Therefore, it is important to establish and systematize the cost/schedule integrated management method which are the two core elements of project management technology. This study was conducted to develop a methodology and guidelines for integrated management process for modular plant projects. The researchers developed a methodology for planning and managing cost and schedule, and integrated by module unit. Integrated cost and schedule methodology and guidelines developed can be used for various EPC modular plant projects to enhance the efficiency of project management.

  • In recent years, apartment finishing work items have increasingly become more upscale and diverse, and the kinds have increased in exponential numbers. A huge amount of information about finishing work items is produced and changed in the stages of planning finishing work item design and selecting alternatives in the early days of an apartment project. However, there are many problems raised by the poor information management of finishing work items. Thus this study suggested a cost-based information management system to manage information about finishing work items generated in the initial stage of an apartment project. In order to build the suggested system, the investigator designed an information management system based on the concepts and organization of system. And after setting a scenario of selecting finishing work items by conditions including the initial information values of finishing work items, information management for each alternative, and cost fix or free condition, I implemented and applied a prototype of an information management system for finishing work items among the participants including the project manager, interior designer, and builder.

  • 건설사업의 원가절감은 사용자 요구에 부합되는 기능과 품질을 확보하면서 가장 경제적인 방법으로 시설물을 구축하는 것으로 건설환경 변화에 따른 경쟁력 향상을 위해서는 체계적인 원가관리를 통한 원가절감이 필요하다. 국토교통부 소속 산하기관에서는 공공건설사업의 수행에 따라 설계의 경제성 등 검토, 공정관리 및 사업관리 등을 통해 공사비 절감에 대한 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 현재 설계단계에서 설계VE 결과정보는 공공발주기관 간에 상호 공유하고 있으나, 시공단계에서의 원가절감사례 정보에 대한 공유는 아직까지 부족한 실정이다. 공공건설사업의 수행시 유사 건설사업에 대한 원가절감사례 정보를 참조 활용할 수 있도록 단계별 정보시스템 구축 및 원가절감 사례 정보서비스 방안을 제시하였다. 향후 공공건설사업의 기획, 설계, 시공, 유지관리 등 생애주기별 원가절감사례 정보의 분석 및 서비스를 통해 보다 합리적인 의사결정과 공공건설사업의 투자 효율성을 제고할 수 있으리라 기대된다.

  • Recently, the skyscrapers are increasing. There are major cost-increasing factors to management in the skyscraper construction. The more projects are large like the skyscraper construction, the more systematic methods and tools are needed for cost control. This study proposes an assessment model for major cost-increasing factors in skyscraper construction using FMEA.

  • Currently, the business environment has been rapidly changed due to the fast globalization and development of information technology. Therefore, many companies are trying to change their management system by improving their own decision making systems and innovations. Many domestic enterprises are introducing or considering the ERP system. In the field of ERP management accounting, there are many auxiliary functions for helping efficient internal management analysis for company. In this paper, we proposed and developed an improved method for minimize the variance between standard cost and actual cost of materials of the company. In this method we proposed efficient ERP cost management system considering current cost component including currency and actual material cost and overhead costs.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a nursing activity cost calculation program based on Lee's doctoral dissertation using TD-ABC. The developed program has been supplemented with data storage, print out, and graph conversion functions to expand the application possibility. The development of the program consisted of three steps: program requirements analysis, program design and development, and program validation. This program was designed not only to do the cost calculation, but also to compare the cost-effectiveness and cost consumption trends. Consequently, this program is meaningful in that the nursing manager can obtain the cost information necessary for nursing unit management and extend the utilization so that the cost management strategy can be established based on the cost information. Therefore, we propose that the cost-management capacity of clinical nurses should be strengthened and the nursing performance measurement research should be expanded by applying it to various actual clinical nursing management settings. It is suggested that this program should be used as a training medium to strengthen nurse cost management capacity by combining nursing management curriculum at undergraduate level.

A Study of Improvements in the Standards of Cost Estimate for the New Excellent Technology in Construction (건설 신기술의 원가산정기준 개선방안에 대한 연구)

  • The New Excellent Technology (NET) designation system, introduced in 1989 for the purpose of promoting the development of domestic construction technology and enhancing national competitiveness, reviews the statement of construction cost of new technologies. And the cost reduction effect such as design, construction, and maintenance cost and the effect of reducing the construction duration are evaluated as an evaluation criteria of economic feasibility. However, in this evaluation process, differences of opinion between the institution of construction cost estimating standard management and the new technology developer about unique technologies frequently occur. In addition it is difficult to objectively compare the construction duration with existing similar technologies because there is no information on productivity as the current cost estimating standards for new technologies only present the required amount per unit quantity. In this study, the current state of cost estimating criteria review procedure, evaluation criteria, and cost estimating standards establishment method were analyzed when screening for the designation of a new construction technologies, and compared with overseas cost estimating standards, measures to improve the cost estimating standards of current construction new technologies were suggested. Through the improved cost estimating standards of this study, it is expected that cost information on new technologies will be provided to clients in more detail than the current ones, and the availability and applicability of new construction technologies would be improved by simplifying the construction cost calculation process more.

A Framework Integrating Cost and Schedule based on BIM using IFC (IFC활용 BIM기반 공정/원가 통합관리 프레임워크)

  • In building construction project, there are numerous information or data parts across many different software applications and professional specialists. BIM (Building Information Modeling), as a medium for managing information generated during construction project, it is intended to enhance the effectiveness of construction management and reap a lot of advantages such as, automatic quantity takeoff, error-free estimation, 4D(3D+Time), 5D(4D+Cost) simulation. Nevertheless, the overall and practical effectiveness of BIM utilization is difficult to justify at this stage. While helpful, there are some limitation when BIM applied to construction management due to the differences of data processing process between BIM and work in the field, limitations of information generated from BIM object and interoperability problem among BIM application. Therefore, this paper propose a framework integrating BIM with cost-schedule information using IFC. And we construct the system prototype based on the framework and performed case study to examine the framework. The proposed framework provides the information basis for BIM based cost-schedule integration. ultimately, the framework increase the utilization of BIM and work efficiency of construction industry by supporting an understanding of information.
