Themodynamic Characteristics of a Two-Stage Binary Absorption Cycle (2단(段) 2원(元) 흡수(吸收)사이클의 특성(特性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • This paper concerns the study of a two-stage binary absorption cycle employing the refrigerant/absorbent combinations of $LiBr/H_2O$ and $NH_3/H_2O$. This cycle consists of coupling two single-effect absorption cycles so that the first stage absorber and condenser produces heating water to evaporate refrigerant in the evaporator of the second stage. The effect of operating variables such as evaporator temperature, condenser and absorber temperature, and generator temperature on the coefficient of performance and temperature lift have been studied for two-stage binary absorption heat pump systems. It is found that this cycle has a large temperature lift at $105^{\circ}C$ of optimum generator temperature to obtain $50^{\circ}C$ of condenser temperature.

  • In this paper we investigate that most of plants and animals have the symmetric property, such as a tree or a sheep's horn. In addition, the human body is also symmetric and contains the DNA. We can see the logarithm helices in Fibonacci series and animals, and helices of plants. The sunflower has a shape of circle. A circle is circular symmetric because the shapes are same when it is shifted on the center. Einstein's spatial relativity is the relation of time and space conversion by the symmetrically generalization of time and space conversion over the spacial. The left and right helices of plants and animals are the symmetric and have element-wise inverse relationships each other. The weight of center weight Hadamard matrix is 2 and is same as the base 2 of natural logarithm. The helix matrices are symmetric and have element-wise inverses.

  • In Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論), Cheon(大) means Nature, Won(元) means sources, Gi(紀) is Gang Gi(綱紀) that means rules or regulations, so Cheon Won Gi(天元紀) means sources and rules of change that make Nature phenomenons. This volume treats of cause that weather change of Nature caused by, and its general rules, and presents fundamental notions and systems of measuring of 'Five elements' evolutions and Six kinds of natural factors(五運六氣)'. So named Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論). This article of the research on the Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論) can be divided into 3 chapters. Chapter 1 presents a theory that the principle of changes of creations' birth, groth and extinction is complished by sympathizing with Hyeong(形) of Ji(地) and Gi(氣) of Cheon(大) by rules of movement of O Un Yum Yang(五運陰陽). Chapter 2 presents theories that Tae Heo(太虛) makes Won Gi(元氣), and this Won Gi(元氣) makes the change of creations' birth, groth and extinction, and movement of O Un(五運) controls creation of nature. And treats of that 'excessive and short(太過不及)' that is made by a quality of Gi(氣) and ups and dons of Hyeong(形) controls weather of year. In Chapter 3, Cheon O Ji Yuk(天五地六) regard six and five as Yong(用). And A Cycle that movment that sympathizing with O Un(五運) and Yuk Gi(六氣) is Il Gi(一氣) as 30 years, and Il Ju(一周) as 60 years. And presents that O Un(五運) and Yuk Gi(六氣) that Gan Ji(干支) control.

『소문(素問)』판본개요(版本槪要)

  • "소문(素問)" 은 다수의 판본(版本)이 존재하는데, 자구(字句)의 차이가 현저하여 조문(條文)의 훈고(訓詁)나 이해에 곤란한 면이 있다. 판본(版本) 상호간의 관계가 지금까지 해명되지 않았기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 성서(成書) 이래의 전승과정을 정리하고, 판본(版本)으로 만들어진 북송(北宋) 이래의 변화를 여러 현존(現存) 판본(版本)의 자구대교(字句對校) 및 사서(史書) 목록(目錄)의 기재(記載)를 통해 검토하였다. 그 결과 망일(亡佚)된 송판(宋版)을 포함하여 고본(古本) 13종(種)의 존재가 확인되었으며, 그 상호관계를 "소문(素問)" 본편(本篇) 고본계통도(古本系統圖)로 정리할 수 있었다. 이 결과에 의하여 다음 사항들이 밝혀졌다. (1) "소문(素問)"의 자수(字句)는 기본적으로 북송(北宋) 1069년(年)의 희녕본(熙寧本) 이전으로 거슬러 올라갈 수 없다. (2) 희녕본(熙寧本)(망일(亡佚))의 구태(舊態)를 유일하게 보존하고 있는 것은 1550년(年)에 발간(跋刊)된 명(明)나라 고종덕본(顧從德本)이다. 고본(顧本)을 연구의 제일저본(第一底本)으로 삼아야 함은 향후에도 변치 않을 것이다. (3) 원(元)나라 1283년(年)의 독서당본(讀書堂本)은 북송(北宋) 1078-85년(年)의 원풍본(元豊本)(망일(亡佚)) 계통이다. 일본(日本)의 실정고초본(室町古鈔本)은 북송(北宋) 1121년(年)의 선화본(宣和本_(망일(亡佚)) 계통이다. (4) 따라서 북송판(北宋版) 3종(種)의 옛 모습을 보유한 고종덕본(顧從德本), 독서당본(讀書堂本), 고초본(古鈔本)의 경주문(經注文)을 대교(對校)한다면 희녕본(熙寧本) 혹은 그 저본(底本)에 한층 다가설 수 있을 것이다. (5) 희녕본(熙寧本) 이전의 양상을 이해하려면 "태소(太素)"나 "갑을경(甲乙經)" 등과 교이(校異)하는 것이 좋겠으나 한계도 있다. (6) 상기(上記)한 것 외에 현존하는 제판(諸版)은 모두 파생본(派生本)이다. 따라서 판본(版本) 연구에는 유용하겠지만 자구(字句)의 훈고(訓詁)나 조문(條文)의 이해에는 적당하지 않을 것으로 사료된다.

Historical Study on Pearl Ornaments of the Yuan and Pearl Gowns of Princess Jegukdaejang in the Late Goryeo (원(元)의 진주(眞珠) 장식방법 및 고려(高麗) 후기 제국대장공주의 진주의(眞珠衣) 형태 고증 연구)

  • Pearl gowns(Jeanju-eui)' of Princess Jekukdaejang which were imported from Yuan to Goryeo in 13'th century, but correct shape and detail were unkown. Princess Jekukdaejang was a queen of Goryeo and a daughter of Kublai Khan of early Yuan period, and pearls were the most precious jewel in Mongolia of medieval time. It is possible that the shapes of Jeanju-eui were nomadic mogolian women's costume or very new style yet in early Yuan just like sleeveless long vest. In the period of Yuan, pearls were beaded on the stiff thin fabric for summer or ornaments of ladies. Big pearls were made use of point spot of pattern or line of pattern, and small pearls were usually used to fill up devided parts or to bind outline. The shapes of deducted pearl gown are five kinds of women's deel and four kinds of long vest, and deducted parts for pearl decoration are golden band from shoulder to wrist and on the knees of gown, cloud shape collar, patches on the breast and on the back, slant collar, and patterns of fabric. Red color(the favorite color of Yuan ladies), artifical pearls, ramie, and golden brocade with the gloss of satin are selected as stuffs for sample of pearl gown, but 'reproducting old fabrics' was the most important problem in making correct pearl gowns. Suggested is a cooperation with fabric makers to develop alternate fabircs with patterns just like Yuan's.

  • 조선 전기 세종(世宗, 1418-1450)에 의해 천체관측기기와 천문역법을 개발하는 사업이 있었다. 이 때 조선의 천문대인 간의대가 건설되었고, 더불어 소간의, 일성정시의, 현주일구, 천평일구, 정남일구, 앙부일구 등 다수의 소형화된 천문의기가 개발되었다. 이보다 앞서 중국 원(元)왕조의 최신 관측기기였던 간의, 규표, 혼천의, 혼상 등을 제작하였는데, 이 과정에서 습득한 기술적 경험을 바탕으로 소형화된 천문의기 새롭게 발전시킨 것으로 보인다. 당시 천문의기를 구성하는 것에는 천구의 도수를 눈금으로 새긴 원형의 환(環)이나 구형의 혼(渾)이 있었다. 조선에서는 시헌력을 도입하기 전까지 천구의 도수(주천도수)를 365.25 등분하였고, 하루 12시진을 백각으로 나누었으며, 이를 각각 주천도분환과 백각환에 눈금을 새기었다. 당시에는 환의 둘레에 주천도수와 백각을 새기는 기술적인 어려움이 있었다. 이러한 제작 상의 문제를 해결하는 방법으로, 본 연구에서는 도수나 시각의 각거리를 일정한 길이의 단위로 설정하여 원주를 등분하였을 것으로 가정하였다. 즉 조선의 소형화된 천문의기는 주천도의 1도나 백각의 1각을 일정한 길이의 단위인 푼이나 치의 정수배로 하여 환의 둘레에 주천도수와 백각의 눈금을 새겼을 것으로 추정하였다. 만일 주천도의 1도 각거리를 1푼으로, 백각의 1각 각거리를 1푼으로 하는 표준 변환을 적용하면, 각각 환의 지름이 1.16치, 0.32치가 된다. 이러한 방법이 현존하는 일성정시의나 소간의의 세 종류의 환과 현주일구의 백각환의 특성과 잘 일치함을 보이고 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 향후 소형화된 천문의기의 구조적인 재원을 연구할 때나 출처가 불분명한 의기의 크기를 이해하는데 주요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Literatural Study on the Causes of Infertility in Women (여성(女性) 불임(不姙)의 원인(原因)에 관(關)한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察))

  • According to the literatural study on the causes of Infertility in women, the results were as follows. 1. The causes of Infertility in women were arranged scholarly thoery during to Jin-Yuan era (金 元 時代) from Huang-Di-Nei-Jing(黃帝內經), and literatures after Ming-Qing era(明 淸 時代) divided and added one's own thoery since they choose preceding thoery. 2. In the Modern Medicine, the causes of Infertility in women are divided the product obstruction of Oocyte, the union obstruction of sperm and oocyte by abnormality of vagina, cervix, corpus, fallopian tubes, pelvic, and peritoneum, Endocrine factor, Immunologic factor, and Emotion factor. 3. In the Oriental Medicine, the causes of Infertility in women are attached importance to functional side as 'asthenia-cool of uterus'(子宮虛寒), 'deficiency of vital energy and blood'(氣血虛), 'deficiency of yin'(陰虛), 'impairement of seven emotion'(七情傷), 'disease of extra mierdians'(寄經病), and so forth; while on the other in the Modern Medicine, the causes of Infertility in women are attached importance to organic side as abnormality of uterus and ovary. 4. In the successive literatures, 'asthenia-cool of uterus'(子宮虛寒) occupied most frequency in the causes of Infertility in women and in the next obesity(體肥), 'deficiency of vital energy and blood'(氣血虛), menstrual irregularity(月經不調), deficiency of yin'(陰虛), 'impairement of seven emotion'(七情傷), emaciation(體瘦), 'disease of extra mierdians'(寄經病), and so forth occupied much frequency. 5. In the bodily form, obesity(體肥) and emaciation(體瘦) occupied comparatively more frequency.

  • Since the military servants' rebellion, the society of the Goryeo(高麗) dynasty had been getting into crisis worse and worse until late in it. Late in the 14th century, the society was constantly meeting tension and chaos including decline of the Yuan(元) dynasty, sudden rise of the Ming(明) dynasty and etc. This study is aimed to investigate the idea of justice and theory of governing advocated by Yaeun Jeon Nok Saeng, who lived in such tensed and chaotic era. Under the circumstance that threatened the national power of the Goryeo dynasty in the era where the Yuan dynasty changed to Ming dynasty, his idea of justice was expressed as "Theory for Friendship with Ming and Against Yuan", which was proposed in the aspect of considering the safety and maintenance of the nation and getting back the original national power of a country Goryeo. He thought that you should not make your people bothered by or troubled in their works but you should make them concentrate on their jobs for living to govern them eased. He emphasized that you should focus on stability of people's welfare in gentle ways not bothering your people even a little bit because he thought that the situation of that era looked like a thread bobbin so that it could get naturally and easily twisted if you went in hurry.

Basic Studies on Banwoldang(Half-moon shaped Pond) at the Traditional Chinese Villages (중국 전통마을의 반월당(半月塘)에 관한 기초연구)

  • This study was carried out to research the locations and comprehensive functions of Chinese unique Banwoldang(half-moon shaped pond) appeared at the traditional Chinese villages. Based on the research, the time of Banwoldang being introduced into Chinese traditional culture could date back to Yuan Dynasty and villages that have Banwoldang mainly distributed in the south of the Yangtze River of China where wealthy and high class have lived. Bamwoldangs were mostly built at the front of the village clan halls for the prosperity of the whole clan, The main reason of Banwoldang construction was to complete Feng Shui functions and its goal from the point of Feng Shui in Chinese ancient villages was replenishing the power of location, including increasing the probability of passing the imperial examination for villagers, multiplying riches, minimizing the fire accident and perfecting the geomantic pattern 'leaning against the hill and facing the water(背山臨水)' of villages. Other functions of Banwoldang were found as the place for the community meeting, fish farming and protection of village from enemy. In this research, the reasons of Banwoldang location and values of its various functions were found. But Banwoldang is disappearing rapidly at the Chinese modern villages because there is no interest in traditional culture. Banwoldang is one of unique elements of Chinese culture that must be preserved, so its meaning and value should be lasted well as the Chinese traditional cultures.
