정부는 서울 S/W타운 조성을 위하여 건물임대료, 장비 및 시설 구입비 등으로 약 330억원의 예산을 투입키로 하였으며 이중 민간중심으로 운영될 S/W/종합유통회사 설립등에는 민자를 유치하기로 하였다. 또한 정보통신부 차관을 위원장으로 민.관.학의 전문가로 추진위원회를 구성하고 서울 S/W타운 조성을 위한 세부시책을 추진해 나가기로 하였다.

This paper describes the devlopment and implementation for the KOMPSAT-1 scheduling & automatic command plan generator(KSCG). Some problems in mission planning and command planning had occurred using the mission & command planning s/w in MAPS(Missin Analysis and Planning Subsystem) during the LEOP(Launch & Early Orbit Phase) & early normal mission phase due to lots of manual input process and non-automatic process. Therefore, the more mission operations for KOMPSAT-1. In order to prevent the development of new one(KSCG) which should reduce the manual process and generate automatically the command plan has been needed. As a result, the mission operations of KOMPSAT-1 has greatly became stable and more effient.

One method to improve S/W quality before releasing after development is to enhance the its reliability, whose direct methodology is to detect and revise the fault through testing. Once the S/W is released because it meets the target reliability, We operational reliability arises. it is obvious the operational reliability different depending on the condition whether it is universal(package) S/W or dedicated S/W. We propose the methodology to calculate operational software reliability of universal and dedicated S/Ws in this paper.

포항가속기(PLS) 제어시스템은 선형가속기와 저장 링 제어시스템으로 분산 독립형으로 운영되어 왔다. 각각의 제어시스템의 구성상 상이한 H/W, S/W구조로 인하여 통합제어의 실현을 구현하지 못하여, 빔 운영상의 두 곳의 운전 감시업무로 인한 인력소요의 낭비를 초래하였다. 이러한 점을 개선하기 위한 선형가속기 및 저장 링 제어시스템의 제어알고리즘의 장점만 살려, 통합운전에 필수적으로 필요한 제어 분야만 새롭게 설계된 개선된 제어시스템에 적용하였다. 개선된 제어시스템의 구성은 디바이스제어에서 GUI(Graphic User Interface)단계까지의 3단계의 제어구조에서 SCC(Subsystem Computer Control System)를 생략한 디바이스 제어 컴퓨터와 GUI실현을 위한 상위 컴퓨터로 운영되고 있다. 디바이스 제어 컴퓨터는 VMEbus 구조의 OS-9 ver3.03 real-time OS가 적용되어 있으며, 상위는 SUN Workstation 환경에 UNIX 운영체제에 Rtworks가 적용되었다.

This paper presented a approach to the measurement of efficiency in container terminals in Korea. To perform this objective, it used Data envelopment analysis(DEA) which has particular applicability in the service sector. DEA as mathematical programming techniques enables relative efficiency ratings to be derived within a set of analysed units. So this paper investigated the efficiency employing DEA-CCR and DEA-BCC Model on data for 15 container terminals from 1998 through 2005. Results of this paper, suggested to some plan for operation strategy in Container terminals.

In recent years, tram has been the focus of a new mode of public transportation that can solve traffic jams and decrease public transit usage and environmental problem. This research is in the works to develop a tram signal controller and signal control strategies, and aim to resolve the problem of what could happen if a tram system was installed in general road. We developed the hierarchical signal control strategies to obtain a minimum tram bandwidth and to minimize vehicle delay, in order to perform a priority control to include passive and active signal priority control strategies. The strategies was produced for S/W and H/W, it is based in standard traffic signal controller. We conducted a micro simulation test to evaluate the hierarchical signal control strategies, which showed that the developed optimization model is effective to prevent a tram's stop in intersection, to reduce a tram's travel time and vehicle's delay.

The deep-sea miner is the tracked vehicle system which drives on the deep-seabed and gathers a manganese nodules. The miner is operated by remote control in real-time by the station of surface vessel. So operating S/W is a important part of miner remote operating. At present, the test miner has been designed and manufactured for near-shore sea-test. The test miner consists of mechanical parts, and electric-electronic parts. Because those parts should be controled and monitored remotely, operating S/W for control and monitoring is necessary by all means. In this paper, real-time operating S/W for a control and monitoring of the test miner was designed and developed using PXI, embedded controller and LabVIEW. This real-time operating S/W was developed for an efficient test of test miner in a near seabed area. Moreover, database management system(DBMS) was developed too for the data management of test miner monitoring using MS SQL and LabVIEW.

최근 전 세계 전자출판 시장 규모가 연간 3조원에 육박할 것이라는 한 연구기관의 발표가 있었다. 이에 따라 국내 시장도 급격한 변화를 보일 것으로 예상된다. 이를 감지한 듯 윈도우 운영체계의 언천 기술을 보유하고 있는 MS사는 지난 8월9일 국내 투자 확대 안(40%)을 내놓았다. 세부적인 계획안은 지켜봐야 할 대목이지만 새로운 전자 출판의 워크플로에 맞는 OS 운영 체계에 대한 것이 주 골자로 제시됐다. 이러한 거시적인 흐름에 비춰 국내 S/W개발, 공급 업체들의 움직임도 다각적인 마케팅의 전환에 초점을 맞추고 있다.
