고정하용 전산체제

  • 컴퓨터가 다양한 목적에 이용됨에 따라 신뢰도가 높은 즉 고장허용의 전산체계의 필요성은 증가되고 있다. 임상응용의 경우 컴퓨터의 오동작은 치명적일 수 있고 또 공정제어의 경우 귀중한 자원의 막대한 손실을 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 고장허용의 전산체계에 관한 연구는 필연적이다. 역사적으로 최초의 고장허용의 전산체계는 SAGE와 같은 군사적인 응용에 시도하였다. 2절에서는 이러한 신뢰도가 높은 기계의 시험적인 결과와 실제 운영의 경험에 입각한 고장허용의 전산체계의 설계원리를 논한다. 이어서 3절에서는 현재까지 설계된 고장허용 전산체계의 구조를 기술하며 4절에서는 현재까지 범용의 컴퓨터에 사용한 고장허용기법을 소개한다.

Assessment of Improved Transportation Operating Systems in Changwon City (창원시 교통운영체계 개선 효과평가 연구)

  • In order to improve the safety and efficiency of traffic signal operation, several core projects of advanced transportation operating systems were implemented in Changwon City. This project included 10 units such as the expansion of roundabout, the permitted left-turn signal operation and the effectiveness of the projects was assessed using before and after studies. This paper presented the quantitative and qualitative evaluation results for three projects: roundabout, permitted left-turn signal operation, and left-turn actuated signal operation. From the analysis results, average travel speed was improved by 16.8% from the installation of roundabouts and average travel time and control delay were reduced by 12.4% and 41.6% respectively, from permitted left-turn operation. It was found that average control delay was reduced about 26.7% from left-turn actuated signal operation. In addition, more than 57.7% of the surveyed people was satisfied with the operational performance of the roundabout implemented. It is expected that the operational performance of traffic signal can be greatly improved by incorporating the proper projects of advanced transportation operating systems in other cities.

Performance Evaluation and Suggestions Based on the 2013 Child Care Center Accreditation System (2013년도 어린이집 평가인증 운영체계 개선에 따른 성과평가와 개선안)

  • This study aims to examine the effects of the main eight items amended in the 2013 child care center accreditation system and to provide suggestions. The participants in the study were 200 child care center teachers and staff; 150 professionals consisting of public officials in charge of child care, members for the accreditation committee, and inspectors at the site; and 144 parents. They participated in an on-line questionnaire survey conducted during the end of February, 2014. The survey questions regarding the eight changed items were the same to all the three participating groups, and three more questions were asked to child care center teachers and staff. The collected data were analyzed with frequencies and percentages to present general recognition level. For a group comparison, analysis of variance was first performed among 3 professional groups, all of which has the same size. When there was not a statistically significant difference among the three groups, the second analysis of variance was done among three groups of professionals including the three groups, teachers and staff, and parents. The results showed that there were differences in recognition among the groups regarding each changed item in the 2013 child care center accreditation system, but overall, the groups evaluated the main amendments positively and the changes were considered appropriate and necessary. However, it was found that in-depth reviews are needed of procedure unification to check the basics to require legal compliance; management of unaccredited centers such as valid period reduction and no accreditation, or limit for re-accreditation application; and the burdens of child care centers about surprise visits and notice of inspection dates in advance.

Study on Forecasting Urban Rail Demand Reflecting Transfer Fare Value in a Non-integrated Fare System (독립.환승할인요금체계하의 환승요금가치를 고려한 도시철도 수요추정 연구)

  • The recent increase of light rail construction by the private sector in Korea has caused a new issue in forecasting rail demand. Integrated fare systems between several rail operators is convenient and brings cost savings to users, and therefore is also very effective in increasing demand. However, it causes some short-term revenue loss to operators so that the private sector often suggests a non-integrated fare system. The current rail demand forecasting model is based upon an integrated fare system. Thus this model cannot be used to forecast the demand with a non-integrated fare system. Some value of transfer fare should be estimated and applied to forecast the demand in a non-integrated fare system. This study conducted a stated preference (SP) survey on urban railway passengers and estimated the value of transfer fare. The estimated value is 2,609 Won/hr, which is about 52% of in-vehicle time. This shows railway users have a tendency to pay more for transfer fares to save time or distance. This value has some limitations since it is derived from the SP survey. If some non-integrated fare system is applied in the future and a RP survey is conducted and compared with these study results, a more clear value of the transfer fare will be derived.
