Effect on Improvement of Muscle Strength for Loading Pattern using Electric Exercise Instrument (전동식 운동기기의 부하방식에 따른 근력증진 효과)

  • This study is to compare muscle strength between isotonic exercise and isotonic & isokinetic exercise. Participants are 12-man and 10-woman whom they are healthy without medical history in shoulder, elbow and lumbar joint. We performed experiment total 4-weeks that exercise 3-days a week each exercise pattern. We measured shoulder, elbow and lumbar joint torque with BIODEX and circumference of muscle in upper arms once a week. The result showed that isotonic & isokinetic exercise pattern significantly more improved joint torque in shoulder, elbow, lumbar than isotonic exercise pattern. Because that isotonic & isokinetic exercise pattern supplied muscle strengthen and caused muscle contraction. This exercise pattern can be used new exercise training method for major athlete and normal people. Also this pattern can be used rehabilitation treatment.

  • 기존 자가발전 운동기구의 경우, 입력 임피던스가 고정되어 있어 운동 강도조절이 불가능한 단점이 있다. 또한 운동에너지 회수용 계통연계형 인버터는 특정한 입력전압의 범위를 유지하기위해 큰 용량의 커패시터 사용이 불가피하여 기구의 부피 및 원가 상승문제를 발생시킨다. 본 논문은 능동부하 스위치 구동회로를 사용한 자가발전 운동기구용 부스트 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안 방식은 입력 전류 제어를 통해 운동 강도 조절이 가능하고, 계통연계형 인버터의 전압 범위를 유지하기 위한 큰 용량의 커패시터를 삭제하고 능동부하 스위치 구동회로를 연결함으로써 기구의 소형화 및 원가 저감이 가능하도록 한다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 회로의 이론적 특성을 분석하고 모의실험을 통해 확인하였으며, 150W급 자가발전 운동기용 부스트 컨버터에 적용하여 실험을 통해 가능성을 검증하였다.

  • 심박변이도는 자율신경계의 균형 상태를 나타내는 중요한 지표이다. 동적인 환경내에서 항상성을 유지할려는 인체가 각 신경계를 조율하는 수치로 심박의 변화를 시간영역과 주파수영역으로 나누어 그 값을 측정하여 분석하였다. 그 중 심전도의 측정방식에서 간략히 하고자 광학적 방법으로 심장의 박동을 측정하는 PPG 변화량이 심박변이도와 유사하다는 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 하지만, 심전도와 PPG 는 혈압의 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서 운동부하 실험을 주어 혈압을 상승 시킨뒤, 심전도를 통해 산출한 심박변이도와 PPG를 통해 산출한 맥박변이도를 비교하여 두 상관성에 대하여 연구하였다.

Effect on Improvement of Muscle Strength Imbalance according to Load Deviation Pattern of Left and Right Arms in Upper Limbs (상지 좌우 운동부하 편차방식이 근력 불균형 개선에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the validation of effect on improvement of muscle strength unbalance according to exercise load deviation during rowing exercise. We performed evaluation of muscular activity and joint torque before the test. We recruited twenty subjects who one side's muscle strength is bigger in more 20% than other side. Subjects divided two groups. One is dominant left side and the other was dominant right side. Subjects performed rowing exercise in electric load deviation rowing equipment (Robo.gym, Humonic Co., Ltd., Daegu, Korea). Exercise performed four sets a day including 25 times a set, and three days a week. Measurements consist of evaluation of muscular activity and joint torque. Exercise load deviation adapted that different value of muscle strength in both arms multiplied 1RM% and added 1RM 50%. The results in adapted load deviation showed that the differences of maximal peak torque in 22.75% were getting increase significantly during exercise in 5.72%. This interpreted that rowing exercise with loading deviation types could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise in same time for balance. Our study found out that loading deviation could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise for improving muscle unbalance.

  • 슬링 운동 치료(Sling Exercise Therapy)는 근골격계 질환 환자의 영구적인 치유를 목적으로 슬링을 이용한 능동적인 치료와 운동법을 체계화한 접근법이다. 이 개념은 10 여년 전부터 노르웨이의 물리치료사들을 중심으로 발전되어 왔으며, 현재 뇌졸중 환자와 신경학적 질환자 그리고 소아 환자와 건강 증진 프로그램에서도 이용되는 방법들이 개발되어지고 있다. 현재 정형물리치료 분야에 대한 세계적인 흐름은 전기치료 기구나 물리치료사의 손에 의해 수동적으로 이루어지는 치료 접근에서 점차 환자가 스스로 물리치료사에 의해 특별히 고안된 운동방법에 따라 능동적인 치료적 운동을 통해 손상 치료와 건강 관리를 하는 방향으로 발전되어지고 있으면 많은 치료 분야에서 이러한 접근법을 채택하고 있다. 슬링운동치료 개념은 이러한 능동적인 운동법을 주된 목적으로 이용하고 있다. 이 논문은 근골격계 질환의 치료를 중심으로 쓰여졌다. SET 개념에는 체계적인 진단과 치료의 요소들이 포함되어져 있다. 진단 체계에는 열린 사슬과 닫힌 사슬을 이용하여 단계적으로 부하를 가해 줌으로서 근육의 상태를 검사하는 방식을 가지고 있다. 치료적 체계를 구성하는 요소에는 근육의 안정화, 감각운동 훈련, 열린 사슬과 닫힌 사슬을 이용한 훈련법, 가동성있는 연부 조직의 역동적 훈련, 심폐 강화 훈련, 단체 훈련, 가정에서의 개별적 훈련과 추후 관리 그리고 운동 프로그램을 제공하기 위한 컴퓨터 소프트웨어가 포함되어 있다.

The Effect on Improvement of Muscle Strength Imbalance According to Load Deviation Protocol of Whole Body Vibration Exercise (부하 편차 방식의 전신진동운동이 하지 근력 불균형 개선에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effect on improvement of muscle strength unbalance according to load deviation protocol during whole body vibration exercise. Seventeen female volunteers (age $22{\pm}3$ years, height $160{\pm}4.9$ cm, weight $49{\pm}.8$ kg) participated in this experiment. The subjects performed squat exercise in WBV platform. Exercise were performed five set a day including 15 time a set, three days a week, and during 4 weeks. Vibration stimulus was 25Hz as frequency and intensity was dominant leg 1mm and non-dominant leg 4mm. The results in WBV group showed that the differences of peak torque in 16% were getting decreasing significantly after 4 weeks from 16.2% to 5.2%. This result means that WBV with load deviation protocol could provide muscle strength exercise for muscle strength balance. Our study found out that WBV of load deviation protocol could provide muscle strength exercise for improving muscle imbalance.

Design of Personalized Exercise Data Collection System based on Edge Computing

  • In this paper, we propose an edge computing-based exercise data collection device that can be provided for exercise rehabilitation services. In the existing cloud computing method, when the number of users increases, the throughput of the data center increases, causing a lot of delay. In this paper, we design and implement a device that measures and estimates the position of keypoints of body joints for movement information collected by a 3D camera from the user's side using edge computing and transmits them to the server. This can build a seamless information collection environment without load on the cloud system. The results of this study can be utilized in a personalized rehabilitation exercise coaching system through IoT and edge computing technologies for various users who want exercise rehabilitation.

Effects of long-term endurance exercise and Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar on body composition and insulin resistance in high fat diet-induced obese rats (장기간의 지구성 운동과 단삼식초 섭취가 고지방식 유도 비만 흰 쥐의 신체구성과 인슐린 저항성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of long-term endurance exercise and salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar on body composition and insulin resistance of high-fat diet (30% carbohydrate, 50% fat and 20% protein) induced obese rats. After 8 weeks of high fat diet (50% of total calories), rats were divided into 4 groups (sedentary group, n=10; exercise group, n=10; Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar group, n=10; exercise+Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar group, n=10) for 8 weeks. Body weight, body composition, diet intake volume, oral glucose tolerance test, plasma total cholesterol were measured. The results showed that Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar plus endurance exercise training for 8 weeks significantly improved body weight control, visceral fat weight, and insulin resistance. However, only Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar treatment did not significantly improve body composition and insulin resistance. In addition, there was no additive by the combination of Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar and endurance exercise in insulin, body fat, and total cholesterol. The reduction of body fat, glucose, insulin and cholesterol by combination was resulted from the exercise. These results suggest that Salvia miltiorrhiza vinegar has slight effect on anti-hyperglycemia and anti-obesity.

A High-precision AC Power Control System for Variable Loads Application (가변부하 적용을 위한 고정밀 교류전원 제어시스템)

  • The control system of high-precision AC power is important in traffic management lighting and beaconing of aerodromes, etc. To control AC power supply in these load characteristics, inverter systems of AC/DC/AC conversion are widely used in high-precision current control. Therefore, in this paper, a inverter system of constant current regulation using improved measuring technique of feedback current is proposed. Proposed measuring techniques improve response and precision in that it use moving average method of instantaneous RMS for measuring current sensing. Results of the computer simulation and experiment prove the effects of proposed system.
