지식 정보의 확산에 따라 기존 전문분야 용어집에 수록되지 않은 용어의 수가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다 이에 따라 용어집을 자동으로 구축하는 작업이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 의학분야 코퍼스에서 주어진 전문용어에 대한 정의문을 자동으로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 우선, 정의문의 구문적 패턴과 용어의 어휘구성 패턴을 이용하여 용어의 상위개념을 추정한다. 상위개념별로 구축된 특성 어휘 목록을 이용하여 구문적 패턴으로 뽑힌 문장에 등장하는 어휘의 적합성 여부를 판단하여 정의문을 추출한다. 실험 결과 코퍼스에 정의 정보가 있는 48개의 용어에 대하여 71.43%의 정확률을 보인다.

There are not a few mathematical terms used as the undefined terms in school mathematics. The purpose of this study is to investigate critically the undefined mathematical terms in elementary school mathematics textbooks of Korea. As the result, the following suggestions are proposed. Firstly, It is not proper to use the terms which mathematics curriculum does not allow to use in elementary school math as the undefined terms in elementary school mathematics textbooks. Secondly, everyday-based undefined terms must be defined in elementary school mathematics textbook if their mathematical meanings are different from their everyday-based meanings. Thirdly, we need to consider the consistency when we use the undefined terms in elementary school mathematics. Fourthly, undefined terms should be define newly when the contexts in which they are used are changed or expanded. Finally, in elementary school mathematics textbooks, it is needed to define some purely mathematical undefined terms that there is no evidence which shows students grasp well their meaning.

ICT 교육의 소양교육과정 부분에서 초등학교 컴퓨터 용어교육이 절실히 요구된다. 초등학교 컴퓨터 용어교육은 ICT 소양교육의 바탕이기 때문이다. 특히, 기존의 컴퓨터 용어 사전은 성인들을 대상으로 한 것이어서 초등학생의 특성에 맞게 분류하고 정의한다. 초등학교 컴퓨터 용언의 분류는 제 7차 교육과정에서 정의하는 ICT 단계와 영역에 맞게 한다. 초등학교 컴퓨터 용어의 정의는 초등학생의 특성을 고려하여 구체성의 원리, 경험성의 원리, 현실성의 원리, 동기유발의 원리에 맞게 한다. 이에 따른 분류와 정의를 통해 몇 가지 용어를 예시적으로 정의한다. 이상과 같은 분류와 정의에 의해 초등학교 컴퓨터 용어는 초등학생들이 쉽게 이해하여 ICT 소양교육의 질은 저절로 높아질 것이다.

본 고에서는 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27/WG2의 용어들에 관하여 조사한다. 용어는 이론의 개념을 나타내는 매우 긴요한 구성 요소로서 모든 체계에 있어서 용어의 적절한 정의는 필수적이다. 국내에서 SC27과 관련하여 많은 국내 표준화가 이루어지고 있으나, 용어의 선택과 그 정의에 관한 합의는 아직 도출되지 못한 실정이다. 따라서 본고에서는 관련된 영어 정의와 해당되는 한글 정의를 제시함으로써 국내 관련 용어 표준화에 기여하고자 하며, 암호학의 기본적인 개념들을 정립하고자 할 때 정확한 개념의 확립에 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 고는 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27/WG2의 Editor인 C. J. Mitchell(영국)에 의한 WG2 문서$^{[Mi]}$에 기초하고 있다. 본 고에서는 단지 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27/WG2의 용어들만을 정의하며, 추후 다른WG의 용어들의 보강하고, 전문가들의 의견을 종합하여 용어의 국내 표준화를 완성하고자 한다.

사전에서 정의는 의미전달 및 이해를 도모하는 핵심부로, 피정의항의 언어적 성격에 따라, 사전의 성격에 따라 다양하다. 전문용어사전의 체계적이고 일관성 있는 정의 구조는 이용자의 이해를 도울 뿐만 아니라 시소러스 및 전자사전의 구축을 용이하게 한다. 본 연구에서는 전문용어사전의 정의 구조를 분석하여 정의 구조의 체계화를 도모할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다.

본 연구는 텍스트 코퍼스로부터 용어의 정의를 자동으로 추출하여 용어의 자동 추출기술과 통합하여 다목적의 용어뱅크를 구축하기 위한 목적으로부터 출발하였다. 지식정보의 확산에 따라 기존 전문분야 용어집에 수록되지 알은 용어의 수는 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다. 기존의 용어집 혹은 용어사전의 디지털화만으로는 새로운 전문용어의 포괄성에서 한계가 있는 것이다. 정보의 획득이라는 면에서 보면 이러한 한계를 극복하고 모든 용어에 대해서 즉시적으로 용어의 정의를 제공받는 것이 바람직하다. 자동으로 구축된 용어집의 응용은 여러 가지로 기대된다. 새로운 용어에 대한 의미 파악을 위해서는 물론, 확장된 전문용어집의 작성이나 전문분야 온톨로지의 구축 등에도 이용될 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 사용자의 적합 피드백을 기반으로 적합 문서들에서 발생하는 용어들과 초기 질의어간의 발생 빈도 유사도 및 퍼지 추론을 이용하여 용어의 가중치를 산정하는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 피드백 문서들에서 발생하는 용어들 중에서 불용어를 제외한 모든 용어들을 질의로 확장될 수 있는 후보 용어들로 선택하고, 발생 빈도 유사성을 이용한 초기 질의어-후보 용어의 관련 정도, 용어의 IDF, DF 정보를 퍼지 추론에 적용하여 후보 용어의 초기 질의에 대한 최종적인 관련 정도를 산정 하였으며, 피드백 문서들에서의 가중치와 관련 정보를 결합하여 후보 용어들의 가중치를 산정 하였다.

In this article the conceptual meaning of expression, equation and identity used in Korean mathematics textbooks and American mathematics textbooks is compared and discussed. For this purpose definitions and examples in several mathematics textbooks which are used in Korean elementary school, the 1st grade of middle school and American middle school are investigated. It is founded out that at first there are some parts that give rise to misunderstanding and then there are differences between the Korean terminologies and their corresponding English counterparts. The definitions of expression, equation and identity are advised to examine in the view of middle mathematics curriculum.

SNOMED CT, which is a standard clinical terminology, imposes an ambiguity problem of terminology selections caused by its huge expressive power and structural complexity. It is very difficult to distinguish similar terms and to select an appropriate term among them within short consultation hours. This paper analyzes the ambiguity problem and proposes a novel scheme for comparative search of similar terms. The proposed scheme provides a differential view of similar terms by defining a "is-not-a" relationship based on the hierarchical structure of the concepts. The result of this work improves the utilization of SNOMED CT such that medical officers can efficiently select an appropriate term among similar terms which represents patient's status adequately.
